I was on my solo trip to Sri Lanka and my one night stay at Rain Tree Yala was thoroughly enjoyable. Clean room,great service , good food that includes a delicious packed breakfast for the safari to National Park. & with Tissa Lake right opposite to the property, it is a bird watcher's paradise. And if you go for a single safari to Yala and you get to see both Leopard and Elephant along with other animals , what else you need from life as a wildlife enthusiast.

Lovely hotel... Friendly obliging staff... Buffet selection great choice and taste... English and local choices. Very comfortable rooms. Large bed and balcony... Nice pool, well lit and rooftop view... Lake area and green gardens....

Great Nice property and people and also location is excellent .We came from india this is first time here , lot of scenery and specially swimming pool ,you can enjoy really,you can reach there easily so elevates is easily accessible for the room ,,we love Sri Lanka

Very nice hotel. Rooms are very clean. Staff are so friendly and food is always cooked fresh. Highly recommend staying here while visiting Yala national park. Amazing views of the lake from the roof top view point. Hotel caters for all of our needs.

It is the worst hotel in our srilankan trip and they serve some cheap food and nothing is good in this hotel . They are serving some alcohol party for a group it is noisy to the core and we couldn't see anything he whole night and it is very bad experience. Don't trust the review and come to this place . AC is not good the staff are very bad and not attending the issue. AC service came and said the AC is fully working and not fan as well in the room and the service guy is saying that why they have fitted the AC

The hotel has beautiful location. Mice to see the sunrise I'm the morning. The team the did our welcoming very very nice and friendly. The only little issue the water was a bit cold. The guest next door was making noise and two time the try to open our room door. Apart from that the food was good too.

Het hotel ziet er van de voorkant veel belovend uit maar er is veel werk om het achterstallig onderhoud weer netjes te krijgen jammer dat het niet bij gehouden word we hadden met ons gezin wel een erg grote kamer met een deur tussen de slaapkamers. De kinderen hadden een grote eigen badkamer met ligbad dat was heerlijk !
