Adequate room size, clean (comes with air filter), complete amenities are provided and then some. They also have a self-service, first-come-first-serve locker/baggage room in case you arrive early before check-in time ( I believe it's also available if you checked-out and require a place to leave your luggage before moving to your next destination). Location wise, although it was manageable, it's still quite a distance from Shinjuku Stn and can be a challenge if lugging a suitcase or traveling with a kid. Overall is was a good experience, a nice comfortable space worth its price tag.

Only 10 minutes walk from Ikebukuro Station (Exit North/W) along the way there are several shops including konbinis like Lawson and Family Mart.. there's also an AEON supermarket right next door! Love that this quiet neighborhood has so many facilities next to each other. Infront of the property there's a halal Pakistani Restaurant which adds a bonus for any traveller staying there. Also, the onsen within the property was what attracted me in the first place, Japan isn't Japan w/o a trip to an onsen and having one downstairs in the hotel is a convenient relief after a long day of sightseeing around Tokyo! Will definetly return for future stays!

The hotel is in very convenient location, only 3-minute walk from Nagatacho Subway. The deluxe Twin Room is very spacious and situates in the top floor with good view. Buffet breakfast is good with western and Japanese food. The staff are very polite and helpful with the direction. Definitely recommend and will stay here again when I visit Tokyo.

The hotel is very close to Ginza center and easy to arrive even in late night/early morning. The staffs are easy to communicate and friendly. The room is more spacious than I expected and the air-con / shower pressure all worked well. I’ll definitely recommend this place for solo travelers

On a next visit, I would definitely come back here. A good value for money. In case of early arrival, you can drop off your luggage at the reception. Hotel is located within walking distance of the station, on the main street. Check-in from 3pm (room 803) neat room with every comfort, I always have to move something here to make optimal use of the space. I've been here before, never use AC and always have the window open, it's noisy from traffic. Several kombini and restaurants in the area. This hotel also remains my favorite and will definitely come back here.

1) I stayed for 6 days and 5 nights with breakfast, and there were only 3 fixed selection items everyday. However, I felt a bit bored on the third day. If it can be changed to buffet or semi-buffet is much better, there will be more choices. 2) The toothbrush provided by the hotel has a very hard brush head, and the enamel on the teeth will be brushed off even with the slightest force. The gums will also bleed. And the tooth paste is difficult to squeeze out. There is also a smell in the bathroom, which requires tape water for more than 10 minutes before it subsides. 3) The electric kettle only ha a small capacity and cannot be reheated continuously. If you want to have cup noodles as a late night snack, you cannot handle 1 large, or even 2 small portions at the same time. Overall it's good. Clean with convenient transportation. It takes 3-5 minutes to walk to the subway entrance, and 15-20 minutes to Tsukiji Market and Ginza.

While the temperature was adjusted, the core problem wasn't addressed, leaving the room uncomfortably cold. * **Distance from metro station:** A 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station might be inconvenient for some travelers relying on public transport. **Overall:** Hotel East 21 Tokyo offers comfortable accommodations with a drawback in its distance from the metro station. However, the significant issue lies in the malfunctioning heater during winter and the lack of proper resolution by the staff. This can be a major concern, especially for guests visiting during colder months. **Recommendation:** Consider this hotel if the spacious rooms and proximity to convenience stores are priorities. However, be aware of the expensive parking and the potential heating issues. This is a beautiful hotel set in a nice, quiet location, with all the amenities close by for a relaxed stay in Tokyo. It's a clean tidy comfortable hotel (4/5 star rating). The luxurious rooms come with en suite bathrooms, toiletries, A/C, heating, flat screen TV, tea/coffee facility, daily room service and so on. There is also complimentary coffee/tea available all day in the lounge area on the ground floor. Kasai subway station is only a minute's walk from the hotel to visit attractions/places of interest in Tokyo. Bus station is also located within walking distance (just near KFC) for travelling to Narita & Haneda international airports. Restaurants, fast food outlets like kfc/McDonald, convenience stores etc are all located nearby. The Buffet style breakfast provided (with a very limited selection) could have been a bit better though. Especially on the day of our departure at 06:30 am in the morning, the restaurant was serving breakfast but it wasn't buffet style, instead Japanese Obento box meal was served with Rice, Veggies, piece of Fish etc which was obviously also cold. (That would have been okay for lunch perhaps!) Most overseas guests, including us gave it a miss. The Restaurant is also quite small in capacity and guests are permitted in batches of about 25 people at a time, to sit down for breakfast. So if you are late, you have to join the queue and wait patiently or give it a miss if you are in a hurry to depart somewhere. As such, on this issue, there is certainly room for improvement for the hotel. But apart from this, Ilfiore is a beautiful, comfortable hotel in Tokyo as mentioned. The staff are also very polite, courteous & helpful. Il fiore means -- the Flower! Well, we were fortunate to witness some the Cherry Blossom during our stay in Japan! Hotel is very close to narita airport and conveniently had airport shuttle for free. Rooms were well appointed with good amenities. They also offer shuttle to downtown but did not avail of it sinc we only stayed overnight. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Wish I could have tried the spa as well.
