Location was great, easy to travel to popular areas like Ginza, Akiharaba, Shibuya etc! Staff was very friendly, almost all spoke English and they made sure we were comfortable at every turn. Housekeeping was spick and span, rearranged as if we were staying there for a first night but may have threw our mini travel essentials sachets mistakenly. Keep your essentials organised and you should be fine!
Response from Property: Thank you for sharing your recent experience at Hotel Rakuragu. We genuinely appreciate your feedback as it helps us to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall guest experience. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered due to our mistake. Please rest assured that your concerns have been brought to the attention of our management team for immediate action to make sure not happen again. Welcome you back for a more satisfactory stay in the future. :)

First, this is a new hotel ard one month in operation when I stayed there. I like the multi-national service team there, they are helpful and friendly. They also helped me call a restaurant to make reservations and received a package for me before I arrived in Tokyo. But as a new hotel, there are teething problems. First night, I wanted to check in around 11pm or so, but had to wait at the lounge for some time till around midnight while they said they were fixing the fridge in my room. Then, for the first two nights, I realised my aircon wasn’t working properly. I asked them to try fixing it on the second day but nothing happened. Finally, I requested on the third night to have my room changed which, thankfully, they did. On the second night, I also realised the over-enthusiastic cleaner threw away my sachets of skincare, which I carefully placed all of them in a cup for continued use. Guess the cleaner is not familiar with how hotels are usually sold cleaned and to only throw items which are placed in the rubbish bin. Then please note there is no TV across their rooms at all. And the emergency exit is in the shower cubicle. Indeed, as a solo traveller I am rather afraid someone might burst into my shower when I am bathing through the emergency door… It is nice that there are balconies but there is no view… The hotel is also far away from Tokyo station. Contrary to their advice, the cab fare is not just the flagging rate of around 500 yen or so. The eventual fare was 1,100 yen. So be aware of this as you decide to cab there from Tokyo station. It is like a 7-min walk from Mitsukoshimae station if I recall the name correctly, so it’s still alright.
Response from Property: Thank you for choosing us and making some suggestions. We are happy to provide you with restaurant reservations, courier delivery and other services.Meanwhile, as the management team of the hotel, we deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused to you. Regarding some of the problems to avoid misunderstandings, I would like to provide the following answers to the question you have raised.1, We apologize about the refrigerator issue and thank you for your patience. 2, Regarding the Airconditioner, we are sorry it affected your experience. However, as a matter of fact, after we have been told the AC seems not work effectively we have changed your room, while our front desk staff also checked the AC for the whole night that it shows operated normally. If you have any questions about how to use it, it is alright to contact the front desk staff at the first time. And also our staff are pleased to provide the manual to how to set it. Thank you for your suggest that we will also consider placing simple English and Japanese versions of air conditioning instructions in guest rooms in the future.3, We apologize for the misunderstanding of the use of the cup. For the sake of the health of subsequent guests, we also suggest that guests please not to use cups for non-drinkable liquids such as cosmetics. That’s why the cleaning staff also cleaned the unknown liquid in the cups neither than just leave the liquid in the cup when clean the room, which to avoid any healthy matters. I hope this won’t happen if our staff have been told that liquid in the cup needs to be keep during the clean up. If you have any special cleaning request, please feel free to ask the front desk, and we will take it more carefully.4, Unfortunately, in order to provide our guests with a quiet environment, our hotel does not offer TVs. You can confirm this in the hotel facilities description when you booked it. 5, According to the laws and regulations of Tokyo, it is mandatory to have 2 safety exits per room to ensure the safety of guests in case of an emergency, which is a basic safety precaution in a city with a high incidence of earthquakes. Therefore, we emphasize that the exits are only to be used in case of emergency, and the exits are designed so that they cannot be opened from the outside, so that guests do not have to worry about privacy and safety at all.And it can be noted that there is also a protective cover on the internal door lock of the escape switch, which means that in exceptional circumstances and accidents, the escape passage inside the bathroom will not be opened by anyone. The escape passage outside the bathroom also does not have direct staircase facilities, and can only be opened by firefighters to allow people to enter. 6, Regarding transportation, the nearest stations to our hotel are [Nihonbashi Station] and [Mitsukoshi-Mae Station]. Of course, if you take a cab, the cost will vary depending on the route and the time of your ride (Tokyo cabs charge extra at night). You can confirm the transportation information in the hotel's facility description or ask us individually. Finally, we would like to apologize once again for any inconvenience caused during this accommodation. We highly value your valuable feedback and appreciate your serious evaluation. Meanwhile, we hope you still have a pleasant trip to Tokyo.

Mix feeling about this place. It depends on whether you want nightlife or a quiet hotel in a high-end district. It is close to the high-end shopping district and multiple metro railway stations. Nighttime, the area is dead. There is no room service during nighttime, and the front desk is empty. No water bottle offerings, need to buy from vending machines. Small towers and fridge. Some might like it, really really quiet area at night.
Response from Property: Thank you for your stay at Hotel Rakuragu! We genuinely appreciate your feedback as it helps us to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall guest experience. As we have the 24 hours front desk but at midnight there's only one staff that we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered. We are still continue upgrading our services and rectify any shortcomings and strive for excellence in the future, and welcome you back for a more satisfactory stay again.

Asked for additional 2000yen just because we check out at 11:40am with no reminder or mentioned when we check in. Not a good location and the room is very small, not worth it nor recommended.
Response from Property: Thank you for your stay at Hotel Rakuragu, your feedback provides us with an invaluable opportunity to rectify any shortcomings and strive to provide better service to each and every guest in the future. As we have checked the records during your check-in and confirmed that the hotel's check-out time has been communicated to you on several occasions when checkin and on check out date, and we hope you will understand that delays will result in additional time for the cleaning staff, as well as disruption to the next guest's check-in time, for which we will need to charge a fee. We are honoured that the hotel has delayed timely check-out to provide you with a comfortable rest, but we also want to ensure that every guest enjoys the same service on time. We are sorry that we do not have a free check-out time extension policy at the moment, but if you have a better suggestion, we will listen to it. Also we regret to learn that we did not take the chance to introduce our convenient surroundings and nearest transportation routes. Your feedback serves as a valuable opportunity for us to rectify any shortcomings and strive for excellence in the future.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a really nice experience. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is no TV in the room but all we need is a clean place to take a good rest so it's all fine. The location is good too it only takes around 5 minutes walk to the nearest station. Will return next time travelling to Japan!
Response from Property: Appreciate your stay with us in Tokyo! Thank you for providing accurate information to other guests and your positively acknowledging of our front desk staff. We aim to provide a quiet and comfortable environment that can help relax our guests after whole day's traveling. We will further enhance our facilities and services and look forward to welcoming you again :)

The hotel is adjacent to Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi-mae and is an 8-minute walk from the subway station. There are several Muromachi coredo and department stores nearby, as well as many restaurant options. The hotel opened this year and is quite new, and the rooms are larger than those of ordinary business hotels. The bathroom is very spacious, the bed is 1.8 meters wide, and there is a sofa to put the luggage. Checking in will be better than using Spotify login to check in and listen to music. It's so quiet near the hotel, no noise, highly recommended.

The environment is quiet, the beds are comfortable, the shower facilities are good, and the air conditioning is sufficient. The waiter's attitude was very good. The only drawback is that there is no TV. The hotel is conveniently located, with shopping malls and restaurants nearby, and it is very convenient to the station.

What was surprising was that there were two households on one floor. When traveling with friends, we lived on the same floor. There were only two rooms on this floor, which felt very private and safe. The design was very stylish, clean and simple, and friendly to mysophobes. The location was good, it felt like a residential area, a quiet location in a busy area, which was more suitable for our shopping rhythm. I will consider this place again next time, mainly because it feels very safe and not noisy.

I chose this hotel for a business trip, and I feel a little relieved! Choosing a comfortable hotel laid the foundation for my smooth trip! The ladies and brothers at the front desk are very nice. They feel like they are from all over the world. They provide services in English. My English is average, but it does not prevent me from communicating smoothly with them. They respond to everything and are very professional! The room is also good, very clean and well designed. It is very large among the hotels I have stayed in Japan, and it seems to have won a design award. The location is also okay. It feels like a quiet residential area in a bustling city. It is very quiet at night. It is very chill to get up early and walk around! It is worth praising the laundry room next to the hotel. It takes 45 minutes to wash and dry, which is very convenient for business trips. I will consider booking again next time I bring my family here~

I stayed at your hotel with my company team on a business trip. It is a breath of fresh air among Tokyo hotels. It is exquisite but not small. The experience of staying here is good. It meets all basic needs. The whole hotel has a good taste and good hygiene details. I will consider staying here next time I go to Tokyo!

Very good, very clean, very big, the largest room I've stayed in since I came to Japan. In other hotel rooms, I had to go to the elevator to open the boxes, but in this room, I can open 3 boxes side by side. Rakuragu has a very good sense of design, and the front desk staff communicated smoothly. It is very close to Mitsukoshi Department Store, there are many food nearby, and it is also close to the subway station. It is far away from the hustle and bustle of Ginza but not without prosperity. The baby is also very satisfied with this stay. It is highly recommended for traveling with children.

The hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes away from two nearby subway stations. There is a 24-hour laundry downstairs, which is very convenient. There are also many convenience stores around. The hotel is not big, with only two rooms on one floor. The overall design of the room is great, simple and beautiful. If the budget is enough, it would be even better to have a balcony.

The hotel is very new, in a quiet neighborhood, the room is of a good size, and all kinds of toiletries are in the room. The hotel design is very simple, the room with a balcony can open three suitcases, the hot water pressure is sufficient, there is no TV in the room, and the hotel does not have breakfast. There are many food stores nearby, and the front desk is always staffed and will not disturb you. The two subway station exits are within a few hundred meters, and you can walk to Ginza. I will choose it next time.
