Friend, do you want to find a home like feeling in Tokyo? If you have many like-minded friends or family members who want to travel together to Tokyo, let me tell you to come here and never let you down! You can pack six or seven rooms on the next floor to really experience Japanese life and culture. Here you can enjoy the harmony and respect between people, safe and delicious green food, clean air and extremely healthy living environment. If you like cooking, you can also use Japanese ingredients to make Chinese food, which will make you have unexpected surprises. That kind of delicious food is not experienced in China. Of course, there are more famous Japanese cuisine in the world. My home is located near Ikebukuro in the three metropolitan areas of Tokyo. Take the tram for 12 minutes, then walk along a busy store street for 10 minutes to my home. My home is composed of two buildings, block a and B respectively. Block a is a three story building with bathrooms, toilets and kitchens on each floor. It can accommodate six to ten people. Suitable for large families or friends living with all facilities. Block B is a Japanese style small building, commonly known as one family building, with two tatami rooms, which can accommodate five people. If you want to experience a full-time life, it will be a good choice for you. My home is located in Lianma district around Ikebukuro. I go to Nakamura bridge along a store street and take the Saibu Ikebukuro line tram for 12 minutes to Ikebukuro. Then I can transfer from Ikebukuro to almost all famous tourist attractions and shopping centers in Tokyo. You can also take the Xiwu Yueting line and the vice capital line direct to Ginza, Meiji Shibuya and Yokohama Zhonghua street. Ginza, the new Fengzhou market and other famous scenic spots. And the dajianghu subway around Tokyo is also a good choice for you. It's more convenient for you to travel by yourself if you are in the middle of a disturbance.

It is about 900 meters away from Nakamura Bridge subway station in Nerima District. There are two straight roads. There are many small restaurants on both sides of the small road out of the subway station. There is also a supermarket selling food and daily necessities, as well as a FamilyMart.
The room is very small. In addition to the bed, a three-layer metal rack for clothes, and a desk, it can only accommodate one person. The bed seems to be 1.5 meters long and can sleep two people. The quilt is very thin. It was only 5 degrees on the night I arrived. Because the window had to pass the wifi line, there was a gap that was not closed tightly, and there was always cold wind coming in. The air conditioner was aging and there was no hot air. The next day, I asked the boss to add a quilt to the bed, and it was warm.
It is also close to the main road. Because the road is paved with gravel and asphalt, it is very noisy. The next day, I bought a second-hand head-mounted noise-cancelling headset to solve the problem of sound interference.
The corridor and the room are very clean. Because the corridor is high, you must change your shoes when you go up (there are shared slippers in the entrance). The boss comes to mop the corridor early every morning, which is very clean.
The entrance hall also serves as a shared kitchen, which has a large refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, gas stove, kettle, water heater, vegetable sink, and wash basin. It is very convenient. I put breakfast and milk in the refrigerator every night and heat them in the microwave the next day.
It is difficult to contact in advance. I can only send a text message in the system on the day of arrival to know the room. There is no one at the front desk, but when I went to open the door of the room, the boss's son came out in time and said: Slippers are optional, the bathroom is on the left and the toilet is on the right, and you can call him if you need anything.
The boss also sent a plate of welcome candies the next day and chatted with me. He was quite easygoing.

Generally quite satisfying with this hotel. Pretty clean and comfortable. The room size is quite big, big enough to open the luggage so no need to worry about the space. For the location, pretty convenient to walk from Metro station - 東池袋, can directly walk via the shopping mall to the hotel. But the distance is not that close as expected, it took about 10-15mins.
For the service, I would say the reception is not that considerate, as I asked a easy question but they refused to answer and said I can go find the answer by myself….., maybe becoz there were a lot people waiting for check in. So the service from the reception is really not so satisfying….

Fantastic place to stay. Despite the compact size, the room was incredibly well-equipped, clean, and even with window here you can see the Tokyo tower. I look forward to returning.

Getting there Getting to the hotel from narita airport, you can take the keisei skyliner to change at Nippori at the Yamamote line to change and stop at Takanobaba and change to another train Seibu Shinjuku station. It will be a few minutes walk to the hotel from there. Very convenient. To go back to the airport, book yourself an express bus directly at the lobby entrance (QR code is there) with a screen on the departure timing to various airports so you don’t have to lug your luggage. Stay Luxurious hotel right smack in the middle of all the action, eateries, shopping, etc. I stayed for 7 nights at the premier suite which I believe had one of the best views around this area. Room is spacious for Japanese standards. And the 2 toilets and 2 bath is something we really appreciate. Amenities are all given, and you have everything in the room, including a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. Staff are friendly and eager to help during check in etc. I did not have much chance to interact with them since I also did not book one with breakfast. One tip is the enter the hotel through Starbucks directly downstairs, instead of going one round to enter the lobby. Just cut through Starbucks and go down the stairs immediately and make a left turn to the lobby. Afterthoughts Good and new hotel in an excellent location. Some things will need to be improved, out of the 7 nights, I only request for rooms to be cleared twice. The first time, housekeeping forgot to refill my towels after removing them, forgot to refill our drinking waters and even left a dirty tshirt in my toilet that don’t belong to me. I believe that could be used by them to clean the toilet, else no reasons someone’s dirty tshirt is found and left in my toilet. Should have definitely used a cleaner rag to clean up the toilet. I did not crate a fuss about it but just took the tshirt out of the room since it is a new hotel that just opened for one week and all staff are new too. But this should not happen next time again, especially since this is a suite booking. P/S check out Ichiran 3 mins walk away and the 24 hours Don Quixote too.

Hotel is not difficult to find but it’s not near train station. The area here is a bit messy with tons of human traffic like tourists and locals. I don’t like the environment here as the crowd at night here seems a bit rowdy with many locals round n old here looking for drinks and entertainment. Early in the morning, like 7am, you will see drunk people stumbling out of clubs, vomiting and even pee on the streets! Yes it’s that messy. Overall I won’t stay here again. Too crowded but young people may like the place for its variety of food n drinks places. Hotel staff is friendly n room is decent size not too small.

This is our 2nd time staying in the Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku, we chosen due to the location. Overall we're very satisfied, the staff at the frontdesk very helpfull, but little bit dissapointed with the restaurant staff during breakfast.
It is said the breakfast time until 10am, on the 3rd day we check in for breakfast at 09.45 am but they've already closed. Actually the previous day, I also saw the waiters talking very rude to the customer when asking about payment although the customer has explained that they have paid.
Need more customer service training for people at the restaurant.

Had a good stay at this place. It is only about 7 mins' walk from the Shinjuku Gyoemmae station on the Marunouchi line. When you exit from Exit 2, turn left, turn left and go straight down the road about 5 mins till you come to the main road, turn right and you see the Citadines signboard.
The studio double that we booked was well equipped - there was just about everything - microwave oven, kettle, iron and ironing board, cooking utensils, plates, cups, bowls.
Located at a quieter part of Shinjuku but plenty restaurants, 7-eleven, lawson and family mart nearby. Service was good . We left our baggage there when we checked out and came back for it later before leaving for the airport.

I booked a single room and it was very clean and convenient having the subway station nearby. The staff were helpful and polite, breakfast was fair continental fare and the hotel was close to the Tokyo Dome where I had enjoyed shopping at the mall. It was close to Ueno and easy for me to get about Tokyo. My stay at this hotel made up for the earlier eventful days in Japan following non-operating train lines from Typhoon Hagibis which changed some of my travel plans. Thank you for the great service! 😊❤️

Hotel is absolutely stunning and the rooms are big by Tokyo standards. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the JR and the famous Shibuya Scramble, and about 4 minutes from the nearest exit / entrance to the subway. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the in house restaurant has a beautiful outdoor area as well. A little bit on the pricey side but worth it if you want a bit of luxury while in Japan.

Outstanding
CCarter85Recently just stay at this hotel, location is really good is between Shinjuku and Yoyogi train station, it's also less than 10mins walk to the Shinjuku area for shopping/food. Hotel staff was also helpful and friendly.
FFloreyLocation:
1) It's 5 mins ride from Ginza , taxi is about 880 to 12xx yen depends on timing so if you have a few people travelling , taking taxi is a good option.
2)It has 2 metro stations nearby with very short walk. I tried to google actual view for the walk before ibarrived japan and it felt like much longer than it actually is. Both stations are just around the cornor. Daimon station is on Asakusa line, and Onarimon station on Toei Mita line.
3) Many convenience stores nearby and 2 are particularly almost just next to the building with less than a hubdred steps walk i bet.
4) Many eatery around the area too, if ypu are willing to walk down for 10 to 15mins to shinbashi direction, it's a full street of resturants and drinking places run until late.
5) We rented a car for a few days for our driving trip. The hotel offers 24 hrs parking (no hourly rate option although they have the price, guess that hourly price is for dine in customers) for arpund 2500 yen but there are a few open public carpark just outside the hotel where you can park your car for just 500 yen as maximum between 1900 to 0800 ( its perfect for us as we go back late n go out early everyday)
The premise:
1) Not the newest but very well maintained, clean and neat
2) It's extremely close to Tokyo tower, you can take close shot of it when you walk back to hotel. We stayed in even number room which is not facing Tokyo tower side so i bet the Odd number rooms would be able to see it from their window😉
3) There's free nespresso coffee machine at check in lobby, we fueled ourselves with it every morning before we start our joruney of the day
4) Rooms are small but very well design with good utilisation of spaces
5) We booked a 3 bedder room with bunk beds , my kid loves it and got very excited running up and down every night. The bed is with mostly round cornors which is a nice detail that a mom who travel with kid wpuld appriciate
6) Although the rooms are small but they have a reading room on each floor where you can have some private quiet time for yourself if you need so, and the lobby has plenty of comfortable setting where you can bring your computer to work or i think its a great idea when we saw a group of friends drinking there too.
Improvement recommendation:
1) There are 3 shelves in the bathroom , top is for brushing cups, it's better to add something at the edge or a tray to avoid falling of cup as when it's wet , it's easy to slide down. I broke one 😅 as im not tall and the cups were one next to each other, so it's quite easy to have accident breaking it
2) The hotel website can add transportation to and from the 2 airports and other popular destinations as the location is really not bad. It's very helpful for those who are looking at the hotel to make up their mind.
3) The website can also show some reference for taxi cost going to nearby popular tourist destinations for reference of distance , that makes the hotel a more tourist friendly option.
Conclusion: I would recommend the hotel and stay there again.
DDannyI recently stayed at the Jr Kyushu Hotel Blossom Shinjuku and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, receiving a perfect score of 5/5. Situated near the Shinjuku Jr station and Lumines 1 and Lumines 2 mall, it offers unparalleled convenience for exploring Tokyo and commuting to other parts of the city and simple shopping needs. The cleanliness and service were also top-notch, both deserving a solid 5/5 rating. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, and the rooms were kept impeccably clean throughout my visit.
The amenities were mediocre, earning an average rating of 3/5. While they were certainly functional and satisfactory, there wasn’t any wow factor to them. However, given the hotel's prime location and exceptional service, this can easily be overlooked. Overall, the Jr Kyushu Hotel Blossom Shinjuku is a highly recommended choice for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Tokyo.
KKaren TravellerWe book this hotel due to the free shuttle bus service to Disneyland and the appointment need to be made 2 months ago via the website . The shuttle bus is quite full but makes us very convenient to the park. We took the Limousine Bus from NRT airport straight to the hotel with around 1.5 hours and you can also buy the return ticket from the front desk. The transportation support of this hotel is awesome ! We also book a car nearby in Nippon car rental and only take us 5 mins walking distance to the car pick up point , the overnight parking charge is affordable with only 1000 yen per night. Recommended this hotel to those travellers looking for fast and convenient transportation time.
Ppraty-pp👍 good. And recommended. The hotel is perfectly located right next to the Akihabara Station. 🚉 the location is great not just for the connectivity but also shopping - Yodibashi Akiba for all electronics. There’s UniQlo, GU, and a lot of restaurants nearby.
Typical of Japanese hotels, the room sizes are quite small. It’s difficult to open two luggage at the same time. 😢
The room was clean, bathroom good as well. Bathtub 🛁 is good 👍.
CCKY_AppleThe location is good, about 8 mins walk to Tokyo Station. There are also many different metro lines that can reach the station near the hotel. However, the service overall is not as good as expected. We were requesting to get more bottles of water and got rejected for the amount requested (4 bottles and only gave us 2). The staff at the check in counter was not friendly neither.
AAnonymous UserHighly recommend anyone who wants to stay in Ginza and wants an onsen within the hotel as well. Can't explain the joy of coming back after a long day of 25k steps and soaking in an onsen. The hotel provides a bathrobe & outdoor slippers (not for room) so you can use that to move about the hotel. The onsen has shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well, so all you have to do is bring a towel that the hotel also provides. For anyone wondering, the hotel also has a coin operated washer and dryer. Can't remember the exact cost, but one cycle of washing and drying probably amounted to about 300 yen! Worth it to avoid doing laundry at home.
For the room itself, although it is small, with some expert maneuvering, we were able to open up 1 large and 1 small luggage to pack things. The is a typical Japanese sized room aka small, but it's rather functional so it works if you're just looking to get some shut eye. All in all, I recommend this hotel!
LLauren YeungSent email prior arrival, not very helpful and they specifically mentioned they do not have concierge service, which is sad to hear as I visit quite often prior Covid, they were happy to help with everything, now they would just say they are not able to help 🤷🏻♀️
The location of the hotel is definitely 5 stars! Right in the middle of the city, it’s so convenient to go around for shopping or food
Room size is quite small, but not a big deal since we spend most of the time out.
But would consider trying other ones next time after seeing the change of service over the years 🥲
GGuest UserThe room is not too big, two large beds should be placed on the sofa bed
But the win lies in the cleanliness of the enterprise and the friendly attitude of the waiters
The mattress is thick enough to provide support, my daughter likes the upper and lower lattice beds
GGuest UserThis hotel is nicely located not far from Ueno Station and Asakusa, it’s also impeccably clean and newly renovated. The area is safe, quiet, and well lit.
However, when we arrived our assigned room was not the one we booked and we had to accept a lesser room and request a price adjustment from Trip.com, a process that was so long and frustrating that we nearly gave up the entire reservation. The hotel staff tried to help but given that our room wasn’t available, there wasn’t much they could do.
Following our check-in, we rarely saw hotel staff or even a front desk attendant. In summary, this place is good in a pinch but it’s more like a serviced apartment than a hotel so plan accordingly.
