On June 22nd, I booked a room at this hotel for today, July 8th, for my son and daughter in law for her birthday. This hotel was one I had stayed at before and it had been excellent, really enjoyed our stay. Two hours before check in they called to cancel because they had overbooked, and the front desk person was VERY unfriendly, told me that her manager would not talk to me because it was his day off, and that they never saw the reservation until the day of so they couldn't tell they were overbooked until that date (still, calling at 2pm for a 4pm checkin?) and that my son and his wife could go to another hotel in the area, which this hotel would NOT pay for even though this was their fault. She put me on hold, was very nonchalant about the fact that the hotel was overbooked and they could do nothing about it and told me that they needed to go to another hotel. When I asked which hotel, she put me on hold and then came back as my son had just arrived and said that she had told him. This was not professional, not what I would expect a hotel of this caliber to do, they rate themselves as premium suites, but they certainly are NOT in my book. I will never book here again.
