Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort, um erste Tage in Costa Rica anzukommen und das Land kennenzulernen. Zeit um zu schauen und zu entdecken, Wissen mitzunehmen. Ein erstes Abenteuer..Uebernachtung im Regenwald..trotzdem mit liebevoller Versorgung.

Die Lirio Lodge ist ein hervorragender Ort, wenn man einfach mal abschalten möchte, abseits von Straßenlärm und Menschenmengen. Quasi direkt an der Meeresmündung in das karibische Meer liegt diese kleine Anlage mit ihren 11 Bungalows. Unser Guide, Daniela, war das beste, was uns passieren konnte. Sie war jederzeit sehr um unser Wohl bemüht, konnte aus einem riesigen Erfahrungsschatz erzählen, wenn wir mit ihr im Regenwald unterwegs waren und sie war auch so immer wieder für einen Schnack zu haben. Die Lodges sind schön hergerichtet und in einem guten Zustand. Auch alle Angestellten vor Ort haben jederzeit mit Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft geglänzt. Für uns definitiv die schönste Station auf unserer Costa Rica Reise.

Amazing food and views! Loved every moment at this place. The hammocks for reading were a nice touch. The nature walk to the beach was also lovely. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Special thanks to the staff for making me feel so welcome and at home.

Tolles Hotel. Sehr familiär. Wenn man Ruhe haben möchte ist man hier total richtig. WLAN und Steckdosen gibt es nur im Restaurantbereich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und sehr abwechslungsreich. Großartige Touren die hier angeboten werden mit tollen Guides. Mit Glück sieht man Kaimane während man frühstückt.

Es nuestra tercera visita este año y siempre es la maravilla. gracias a todo el equipo, hemos aprendido nuevos conocimientos sobre la naturaleza, la vida de los locales, nuevos sabores con una excelente cocina y un alojamiento siempre acogedor, limpio y auténtico. Avonturen in de rust van de natuur. Prachtig! Georganiseerde tours met een gids kunnen zijn: rainforest wandeling, klein dorpsbezoek, ‘s ochtendsvroeg dieren spotten. Op eigen initiatief kan men kanoën. Veel apen, vogels en luiaards te zien.

The place is very beautiful, maintained and clean. The staff is welcoming and competent. The tours are marvelous with passionate and instructive guides. The meals are typical and delicious. The bungalows, room where you sleep and equiped with individual bathroom, are clean et really comfortable.

Très belle destination en famille ou en couple, perdu dans la forêt tropicale. Le dépaysement est total. L’équipe hôtelière et guides sont supers! Attention par contre aux moustiques très nombreux et aux pluies torrentielles (en saison des pluies!).

Our stay at Lirio Lodge was wonderful. The accommodation was simple but charming, the food was varied and delicious and the staff were extremely friendly. The organised tours were informative and our guide was able to give us lots of interesting details. We were able to observe some animals and gain an insight into simple village life. We would particularly like to emphasise the quiet and natural location. We can highly recommend the lodge and the surrounding.
