Hotels with Bars in Toulouse

Was up in NY for graduation ceremony with our family and had the double suite with a separate living room and kitchenette. Very helpful and pleasant staff, excellent neighborhood with lots of great restaurants. And washer /dryer available is a big plus

As the picture shows, this is an IHG hotel in an architecturally lovely building on one corner of Place du Capitole, the main square in Toulouse which also houses the Town Hall, many bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. The staff are very friendly and polite and always wishing to help whether at Reception, the Bar or on Housekeeping duty. The bedrooms ( we had 536 ) which had 2 double beds, tv, fridge with daily water, tea / coffee station, a very comfortable armchair, desk and office chair. The bathroom was standard and met expectations. Housekeeping was excellent. The lounge / bar area was rather quaint but adequate and a fitness room was in the basement ( we did not use ). Breakfast was also downstairs and consisted of a hot / cold buffet style with a selection of cereals, fruit/ breads /pastries etc. Egg options available on request. Similar every day but more than adequate. Top Tip - if travelling from the airport, take the Tram ( T1 ) to Arenes and then transfer to the Metro to Capitole and then a short 5 minute walk to Place du Capitole and the hotel ( ticket 1.70 euros ...taxi 25 euros ! ) The hotel is also near all the main attractions with the main railway station about 20 mins away via Joan of Arc Square. Finally, the FREE electric minibus passes through the Square every 15 mins. Wave it down to stop and then enjoy a gratis tour of Toulouse to get your bearings. It will even stop just outside the hotel. Enjoy.

The location of the hotel is good, and a mask was given when checking in! The room is a bit small! Replace the cups with disposable items. It is understandable to keep everything simple during the epidemic, but the front desk said that they needed something to be delivered to the room by phone, but they called and said they had to go downstairs to get it.

We had a very pleasant stay in a very spacious and well-equipped T2. We enjoyed the beautiful park, very convenient to walk with our two small dogs. The staff was very friendly and always at the small care for us. We'll come back!

We had a very warm welcome from all the staff, especially Priestly, who took the time to point out all the places to visit in the city centre. He greeted us every day with a smile and pleasant conversation. The breakfast was fresh and items replenished regularly. The room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet as the hotel is on a busy road opposite the railway station. We will happily stay there again. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely stay.

Don’t Bother! My husband and I booked one night here, thankfully, and the hotel check in guy was so horrible. We walked in and he said we owed for 3 nights before he would check us in. We had originally booked for 2 nights but we had cancelled one. He insisted we owed and would not back down. He was exceedingly rude. My husband went back to the car and found the cancellation so he said we owed for 2 nights one with hotels.com which we use and another from Expedia which we NEVER use. We argued and he finally looked at his watch and said, “Well you are lucky, it’s before 3:00pm so you can cancel. We were mortified at his rudeness and said we thought he owed us an apology which he flat out refused. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel but when we got to the very cramped room the carpet was filthy. Disgustingly filthy! We only took off our shoes in the bathroom to shower. The next day the same ride young man was there again and still very unpleasant. We asked for the manager to make our feelings known. He went in and talked to her. We don’t know what he said to her but her attitude was cold as ice. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

The hotel is approximately 20 minutes from the airport by tram. It requires a bit of walking from the hotel to city center or you can take the tram and then walk for 10 minutes or so to most tourist attractions. The room is small but well designed. Most of the staff I met are very friendly. I spent 3 nights in this hotel and I would stay here again if I am to visit Toulouse in the near future!

Very nice basic hotel. Old hotel, but obviously taken care of with love. Friendly staff. Perfect location, very close to the shopping streets, great wifi. Secure parking garage, so that was very easy.

The hotel is close to the Town Hall Square, very close to the pedestrian street, convenient transportation ~ good environment ~ no breakfast ~ but there is a restaurant next to the door - the bus stop ~ hotel environment is good, the hotel front desk is also enthusiastic ~

This hotel is in a great location and only a short distance from the train station and a very easy walk into the old town. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The shower nozzle was broken and the water just squirted out like a tap which was not ideal. The hotel has a central courtyard which is open all the way to the roof which means your hear everything going on if you leave your window open. The room is air conditioned which you would need in summer. The restaurant across the road had wonderful cassoulet.
