super cosy wood house! A very impressive visit experience during Christmas. I will recommend to friends!

It is by Lake Toya, but not in a hotel resort area, so it is unusually quiet and comfortable. The hotel is decorated in a very Western style, with all-solid wood cabins. It is a very different experience in Japan!

The scenery is beautiful, but the only drawback is that there are many mosquitoes and no air conditioning. If you are bringing children, you can prepare some snacks. There will be nothing to eat in the hotel at 19:30.

The log house includes breakfast and dinner. It faces the lake directly and you can enjoy the view from the room and bathroom. When you wake up in the morning, you can watch the sunrise while lying in bed. The food is an unexpected highlight. I thought that this kind of holiday homestay is just to eat a full meal, but the dinner for two days was a full set of Western food. The main dishes were wagyu and pork, both of which were amazing. Appetizers, salads, fish, soups, desserts, and after-meal drinks are all available, and the quality is surprising. The breakfast is Japanese, which is also very good. I think these two meals alone are worth half of the room fee. Finally, let me talk about the disadvantages: it is about 3 kilometers away from the hot spring town, and it is inconvenient to walk on the road, so you need to take a taxi. Other than that, I think it is perfect

I don't want too many people to know about this treasure hotel😆The hotel is located on the edge of Lake Toya, with no other buildings around, which means you can enjoy the lake view alone, quiet and close to nature. The room is very spacious, and it is a building in the building. Listen to the insects in the grass on the balcony at night, and watch the sunrise in the morning. The only drawback is that there is no air conditioning, and the design of the wooden house makes the room a little hot in summer.

The food in the hotel is high quality and delicious (breakfast and dinner are cooked with care) and is very sincere.

Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for self-driving tourists because the house is very unique, the single-family cabin villa has a great view, the boss is very nice, and the food is delicious. The hotel is full every day of the month. It is quite inconvenient for independent travelers. Taking a taxi from the station costs 2,700 yen. If you take a bus to the scenic spot, there are very few buses every day. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk up and down the mountain, and there are big cars passing by. There were many tourists on the group bus at Lake Toya. On the first night, we watched the fireworks until 9:30. Unexpectedly, there were no taxis. I was embarrassed and had to call the boss. The boss was also surprised that there were no taxis. Fortunately, he went down the mountain behind him. They came to pick us up and they were very polite and took no money. The next day we went to the mountaintop observation platform. It took 1.5 hours to hike. The boss offered to send us up there after we finished checking out. We drove up there in ten minutes. Unfortunately, the shuttle bus from the top of the mountain to the next attraction is stuck and there are very few buses every day. In short, it is recommended that independent travelers must stay near the Hot Spring Street Station, otherwise it will be very inconvenient.
