An unpretentious but comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location in central Tromso (the third photo is the view from the hotel window). Highlights include the friendly staff (a shout out here to the ever helpful Petter), tasty and healthy breakfast, and comfortable sitting areas that mean you don't have to hang out in your room. Given the quality of the hotel it is surprising - and highly annoying - that they don't provide kettles in the room (I even offered to pay a deposit), the more frustrating because some photos on the site show coffee machines: so some rooms do have these facilities. The selection of toiletries is also surprisingly meagre - no shower gel for example, which seems unnecessarily cheapskate. My other gripe is that they need more individual tables in the breakfast room: finding a space at a long table feels reminiscent of youth hostelling... With these shortcomings noted, the hotel can be recommended and is good value for Tromso.

The location is excellent, just next to the harbour and church. Many attractions & shops nearby. The room is clean. The breakfast is nice.

Amazing buffet breakfast, awesome location. The only minus is they don’t clean the room daily.

This room wasn’t as expected as I stayed in room 703 before. This room 225 was small for 3 adults. No space to open luggages. Lack of charging port. One charging point next to entrance of the door and placed so high that our cables wasn’t long enough to reach we have to pull a chair (see photo luggage height) The tv is spoilt too, u have to adjusted up and down to get TV to be working!!! You have to informed reception to open door to parking so that you can park your car inside, just pay a fee. I love the breakfast buffet.

The place is really great, just at the centre of Tromsø, next to the beautiful port and the bus centre; the restaurants next to the hotel are amazing as well. My breakfast was included, and I really enjoyed the breakfast, lots of choice with great flavors! Strongly recommended!!!

I'm glad I booked such a convenient hotel with a great location and rich breakfast. Here I saw the goal of this trip, the Aurora, which was so beautiful. You can hike wherever you want, and you can also see it clearly on the opposite cable to the top of the mountain

The room is slightly bigger than others. The breakfast is not as rich as those in the Thon series hotels. Overall, the experience is good!

Not even a stool in the room to put the suitcase on, the city view is a 3m alley, the garage is not available, I think you can have better

The room is okay and the breakfast is OK. It's a decent hotel with good value for money. Next to the church, I get free desserts every Saturday at church.

The location is quite good, the room is facing the cathedral.

The hotel is under renovation, but the attitude of the waiters is still very good, the room is clean, and the price is reasonable. It is a good choice
