We have stayed with my husband for one night. The room is really basic, lacking any nice touch and amenities, there is actually nothing there. The paper cups in the bathroom , plastic flower, hairdryer is attached to the wall like in the 90s.
More cons: the room isolation is really bad, you can hear someone is going to the toilet next to you :))
For the advantages:

L'hôtel est très pratique pour le séjour à Trouville. Le parking n'est disponible que sur la réservation et au même prix que le parking extérieur.

Les chambres sont propres et jolies, pas très spacieuses en revanche en cosy ou même double confort. Le service est personnalisé et très agréable, l’emplacement de l’hôte est idéal pour Trouville. Le petit déjeuner est bien fait à un prix raisonnable: 16 euros.

The hotel is a small nice one, perfectly located, lots of parking around, helpful staff.
We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor, so far all good, good size bed and clean, provided with nespresso coffee machine and the basics of what you need for a couple of nights stay. The downside of the room is the size of the toilet, bathtub/shower very small and an annoying plastic curtain that sticks to your body!
There is no mini fridge in the room, which could be helpful to have in the summer, and no kettle.

Le Fer à Cheval est véritablement un hôtel de charme très agréable et idéalement situé dans le centre de Trouville-sur-Mer qui mérite bien sa réputation de Ville où il fait bon vivre. Le Fer à Cheval contribue à cette réputation de petite station balnéaire familiale, authentique et vivante toute l'année. Le Fer à Cheval est à proximité immédiate de la très belle “ Reine des plages “ et de ses fameuses planches de la Promenade Savignac. Hospitalité, sérénité, gentillesse, courtoisie, cet Hôtel est un véritable havre de paix. L'accueil des deux sœurs est particulièrement sympathique ainsi que l'ensemble du personnel discret et efficace. Les chambres sont très confortables, raffinées et délicatement décorées. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux. Le tout dans le cadre romantique d'une parfaite maison de famille alliant douceur et élégance. Hôtel de charme à recommander avec enthousiasme.
