The hotel is very close to the airport, but there is no airport shuttle. The room is quite large, and the facilities are relatively new and complete. The breakfast variety is also good, and the transportation is convenient.

Cute layout, awesome outdoor spaces, and great staff! Quiet area near lots of food options and very close to SeaTac Airport. On site paid laundry was a great feature, although the room was very dirty and littered. Outdoor basketball court and pool, seemed like nice spaces. Picnic tables and benches in between the separate room buildings were a nice touch, but provided a noisy night. Not a lot of signage to find room/building numbers. Room itself was great, full kitchen and bathroom, a little outdated, but very clean.

Don't recommend this aging, poorly maintained Residence Inn. Found two .22 bullets and unknown USB security device left in safe. No soap or shampoo in dispensers. When I advised reception, I was told to worry and that they would be refilled. She didn't understand that they were empty upon my arrival and that was why I mentioned it. Beware next guest.

I would not recommend this hotel. It is outdated and in need of some maintenance. After the first night I took a shower and could not unlock the bathroom door. I literally had to kick a whole through the door to get out. It was a scary feeling. The shower was slow draining as well, so I’d be standing in 1/2 inch to an inch of water when showering. While nothing happened to my car, I was concerned it may get broken into due to the location. I just cannot recommend the hotel. Management will need to put some money into it to make the hotel more attractive.

I first need to say that Jeremy Ritchie at the RESIDENCE INN SEATTLE SOUTH/TUKWILA has the most exceptional Customer Service! I have needed to book workers in the area to assist with the deep freeze and broken pipes, etc. Jeremy has exceeded all expectations of handling paperwork, bookings, and making our employees feel as at home as possible. I am extremely appreciative of Jeremy's assistance, as he has lightened my workload and eased my mind my taking care of our workers! Many thanks!

DO NOT STAY HERE! It is the most disgusting ghetto hotel I have ever stayed in! Our rental car was stolen from the parking lot! I should have known better with the sign that said "we are not responsible for stolen items." No cameras no support no luck for us. They even charged us for parking even though the car was stolen! Marriott should be ashamed to have their name on this property.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for Thanksgiving night, as we went for Thursday and Friday to my daughter’s, who lives in Rainier Beach. We live about 22 miles north of Rainier Beach and I don’t like to drive in the dark, so we’ve tried various places close to my daughter’s. We’ve stayed previously at the Hyatt at The Landing, but the cost keeps going up! We tried an airbnb, but my husband, who is visually impaired, did not like it at all. This Residence Inn should have been great! I liked the “suite” - it was like having a little “home away from home”. A total kitchen, the refrigerator was cold; the freezer was frozen. My husband and I prefer to sleep in separate spaces, and he slept on the pull out couch bed. There was good separation of the “living room” area and where the bed was, which I was going to sleep in. We made up the pull out couch bed for my hubby and he jumped in and fell asleep. I got ready for bed and watched a bit of television on the large tv that created a divider between the bed and the “living room” area. I got sleepy and crawled between the sheets of the bed. I was wide awake within a few minutes. The bed was so uncomfortable! The longer I latex there trying to sleep, the worse my body hurt. My lower back and my hips were screaming at me. No matter how I tried to lay, my body was hurting. At home I sleep on memory foam, which keeps all my joints happy and prevents “pressure points”, but I really discovered what those pressure points were in the bed here this night. Finally, at about 1 AM, I checked my phone to see how long it would take us to get home - 33 minutes! No traffic, clear skies and roads! I woke my husband and a decision was made! We were home and I was asleep by 2 AM. I guess we will have to pay the price of the hotel with the better beds for Christmas. I am disappointed; I had really wanted to like the Residence Inn. Maybe because I am older I need a better bed than what was in our room here, but I won’t waste my money again. Take heed.

Unfortunately this place is a complete dump and I tried multiple rooms and they all smelled. Do not stay here unless you don’t care about anything. Staff are nice at the front desk, but that doesn’t make up for the disgusting rooms and odors. I would never stay here again, not even if it was free. Stay somewhere else.

HORRIBLE SCAMMERS!! Charged our card for two weeks when we were already checked out and wasn’t even staying there for the weeks they charged. They also lie and say one price but go behind your back and charge your card full price. Because of their actions, it maxed out our credit card 😡 The main manager does Fentanyl and bragged about it. DONT GO HERE unless you like your money taken without your consent… this is so wrong!! To top it off mold they refuse to fix

This place is a dump!! I cannot believe Marriott has it under its name. The rooms are way outdated and because of the age and use, they smell bad!!! Sink was not working on my room and there is no ironing board or iron. Basic necessity for some one staying here on a business trip!! Front staff was ok at best. I definitely would not recommend this place unless you want to experience a real trashy hotel!!

Hotel staff tried breaking in the room at 12:30 A.M. on the second night. Normally I do not lock the secondary security latch but something told me to do it before bed that night. The front desk called a couple minutes later saying I only had 1 night not 2. Spent the rest of the night in a chair against the door. They are very lucky they did not get the door open considering my wife and child in the room with me. They said they check every unoccupied room every night, which sounds like trouble to begin with.

We booked this hotel because of the high TripAdvisor Ratings and Marriott Residence Inn brand. When we arrived the front desk person was tremendous. He was pleasant and put us in the best room he had. He knew the area very well and was helpful connecting us with shopping and restaurants. We were very surprised to learn this wasn't really a hotel but more like ski chalets with suites in various buildings. Parking was nearly impossible to get near our room. We walked in between buildings and around back and discovered our two-story suite could only be accessed by steep stairs. We walked past a homeless encampment in the patio outside a main floor room. The room had all the amenities for a 6-day stay but it was very tired. The sofa was stained and one wall had black stains. We stay at Residence Inns and this was no Residence Inn. Marriott should not be associated with this property. We had no place to go to but we canceled our stay and left. Close by there was a Hilton property that was actual hotel. We checked in there.
