My wife and I just returned from our 40th (probably significantly more) stay at Renvyle House Hotel. This was a 5-night event the latter part of September 2024. We had another wonderful experience at this lovely property. As previously highlighted, the hotel is a stone’s throw away from the Atlantic Ocean and is surrounded by lakes and mountains. When entering the premises, you have indeed entered the "stress free zone". The staff is led by Anne Marie Kelly (General Manager) and she is exceptional in all respects. Ann Marie is extremely competent and genuinely nice. Anne Marie leads by example and the staff has certainly bought into her vision for Renvyle House Hotel. We have been visiting Renvyle House for over 30-years (normally twice a year) and have enjoyed every visit. Over the years we did notice that some normal maintenance appeared to have been deferred out for many years. It was still a wonderful property, however needed some TLC. When Anne Marie was engaged and arrived onsite, we noticed a flurry of significant improvements to the property in a very short period of time. She has restored Renvyle House to its original splendor and glory. Hotel ownership should feel quite fortunate to have a person of Anne Marie's skills and competence leading the team. The Reception staff (led by Linda); Pub employees (led by Tommy); Marketing (Ben); and Housekeeping (led byMajella) are simply phenomenal in all respects. The food at Renvyle House is simply delicious. Menus are quite diverse, so finding something you like will not be problematic. We really enjoyed the breakfast fare. I opted for the traditional Irish fare each morning, which was awesome. My wife has tried different fares such as porridge, omelets, etc. and all were delicious. Renvyle's award winning chef has been on board for decades. The restaurant personnel were all competent, efficient, and pleasant. Renvyle House has an awesome Pub as well. Great bartenders; wonderful selection of drinks; and great food. The food is of superior quality, not your traditional Pub fare. We were assigned a beautiful suite with lovely views of the area. We have stayed in a variety of rooms over the years, and all have been superior. There is a myriad of activities onsite and around the area to participate in so one will not get bored. This includes hiking; equestrian activities; shopping; golfing; swimming; and sailing. Renvyle House Hotel is considered part of the Wild Atlantic Way as well, offering spectacular views of mountains and the ocean. The Renvyle House lobby is a great area to relax and take in the aroma of the peat fires. Newspapers are provided free of charge, as well. Renvyle House also offers free Wi-Fi. They have a wonderful library as well. I believe Renvyle House has been in existence for over 130-years; therefore, has plenty of history to share. Noted guests include Churchill; Yeats; and Lady Gregory; not bad company for sure. In conclusion, we had a wonderful tim
