The best hotel in udaipur which is really classy,it gife you heritage vibes and have an amazing view feom the roof top. I had an amazing time with my family. The staff was amazing and experienced they provide you with the best hospitality possible. Thankyou hotel udaigarh for making our trip memorable.

Hotel that wants to play the "grand hotel" Excellent welcome, beautiful rooms BUT - On arrival we were offered 2 superior rooms for 150 rupees more. We had to repeat several times, yes 150 rupees x 2 rooms x 3 nights, or 900 rupees in total. We accepted but when we left we were asked for 9000 rupees and in cash! Impossible to argue, it would be for the boss's pocket! - one of the two rooms with hot water for 3 days - no window, it's dark and smells of humidity - the swimming pool that you see in the photo and which is a dream ... It doesn't turn!! They pour in rapid chlorine shots, you can only stay in the water for a few minutes and quickly go and shower! - during a meal, the waiter asked us if everything was okay. We told him that one of the 3 dishes dedicated to children was very spicy. He said "ah really" and left. No apology, no dish remade. - you have to pay for everything as you go, each pancake... It's impossible to put it on a room bill to pay at the end of your stay - we want to change money. The rate given at reception is 91 rupees for €1. We go to get our money and the rate changes to 89! There you go, the hotel is beautiful, the view is beautiful, the welcome very pleasant but then our 3-day stay was less pleasant! Be careful and pay on arrival!

The Hotel and staff were wonderful. The hotel was very clean. We had no problem changing from two rooms to a family room. They arranged laundry services for us during our stay. They gave us lots of water when they cleaned the room. Extra towels/tea/coffee etc were no problem. Himanshu and Shailendza on reception desk were extremely helpful and gave us good advice. Fantastic hotel in Udaipur. Most amazing views of the lake from the beautiful pool/restaurant area. Himanshu was very welcoming and helpful! Lovely room - very clean. Large bathroom… the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Perfect location as main attractions in walking distance.

Location - yes you need to walk 5 mins or take a short Tuktuk because it’s in the old city. The location is great though - 2-3 minutes to city palace or down to the old ghat by the lake. Lots of great shops and tailors nearby. Rooftop - really nice rooftop restaurant with good food and service. We arrived after dark and it was great to enjoy the view of the lake, city palace and the city. Decor - the rooms are nice. ‘Heritage’ rooms don’t have views but are nice size and design. We were in standard en suite, comfortable enough (though we had to move rooms after first night due to the mattress). Pool - this was cool, towels provided, and what a view. Staff - the team were brilliant - responsive to requests and fun on Holi itself. Price - pretty good, we thought, for what you get. It’s not a five star hotel. The rooms all open onto central open landings and not all guests respect early bedtimes and late lie-ins - and I mean foreigners too. Overall we had a very happy stay. Thank you!

The views from the rooftop restaurant and pool helps make this hotel extra special and outstanding for the price. The room was clean and pretty. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. However try for a room at the back. Our room was at the front and directly under the breakfast area so it was noisy. Street dogs fighting woke us up as did people coming and going, hence the suggestion of the back rooms. Food and drinks were very good too
