A very good hotel. The furniture and furnishings look like they were from the 18th or 19th centuries. The hotel is in a good location, right in the center of town, but very quiet. The service staff at the front desk, guest rooms or restaurants are all very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel were also surprisingly good. All in all, it is very comfortable to stay here whether for a short or long term!

We held a birthday party here with quite a large number of guests and I can honestly say that we all had a fantastic time. This was all organised with Lily, who thought of everything that we needed. But all the staff, from the reception to the waitresses to everyone else were amazing. Everyone we dealt with were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food and service could not have been better and every single guest had a delicious meal. Breakfast next morning was just as good The rooms were warm and comfortable and sparkling clean. And it was all with very little effort on our part!

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights as my son and his fiancé celebrated their wedding, with the Falcon hosting the reception. Exceptional service from friendly and helpful staff, excellent food and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended. The location in the delightful town of Uppingham is in the market square, with lots of nice shops and eateries close by. The wedding organisation was flawless.. 🙂 Loved the stay and hope to get back there again! 😁

This is the second visit this year and the service I received was superb In May I had room 26 and it was very spacious and very welcoming The bathroom was a wet room facility which I need in my early 80’s The staff couldn’t do enough to help me I also pre arranged a room to have friends and family meet up for Coffee and biscuits all went smoothly and saved me travelling far and wide to catch up with everyone It really was a great morning I returned in Autumn and stayed in room 25 I did appreciate this as room 26 fully booked for my stay Although smaller it is the new 26 Just perfect for my stay easy access in the room again very welcoming clean and a wet room. I had breakfast every day and the odd day my daughter joined me and nothing was too much bother My daughter said how well they looked after me extra cushion remembering I like a banana for breakfast which was delivered to my table every morning I used room service in the evening again great service even when the hotel busy with functions Very happy to wait Thank you to all the hard working staff from Reception to Room Service The Kitchen staff to the helpful waiter’s and waitress I hope to return soon.

We stayed at The Falcon Hotel for two nights as a wonderful and homely base for my mum’s funeral. The Falcon also hosted the celebration for my mum afterwards. The room we stayed in (Room 20) was stunning - beautiful touches - delightful complimentary toiletries with a gorgeous view over the market square. The service throughout our stay was exceptional and all staff were helpful, approachable and professional. The sensitive and caring support to help arrange my mum’s celebration after the funeral was wonderful and included delicious food and drink (amazing sausage rolls!!) and personal touches. I cannot fault any aspect of our stay and the kindness which ensured a wonderful celebration of my mum’s life … thank you!

Everything I want in a hotel is this place..Good standards in regards everything. The staff are beyond perfect, and breakfast is to die for. I could live in this hotel, simple. Everything that is Great about providing great service to the customer exist at the Falcon

A lovely hotel comfortable rooms service excellent and food lovely. Have special diet always goes the extra mile. The setting and town of Uppingham so friendly especially Friday market. Close by Rutland Water in summer lovely boat trips. Thoroughly recommend this hotel

This hotel is very well staffed and every one we dealt with were extremely helpful ,happy and nothing was too much trouble .The breakfast very good and freshly cooked with a good variation, we stayed in the vaults which is across the small square and the room was very well appointed lovely walk in shower and the beds were extremely comfortable. Evening meal was very good and overall a very nice relaxing hotel very good lounge area and outdoor space

Multiple burnt puddings.cold/lukewarm fries.No offer of coffee .we had separate room for largish party. And food was overpriced and not very good.spoilt the occasion .would defo not personally book any thing group wise from this kitchen
