The drive up from the main road to the hotel is on a very rural road. Don't worry though as when you arrive at the hotel the drive was worth it. It is amazing. The staff are all so friendly and cannot do enough to help you and make the experience amazing. We came for my 50th birthday and wow did they spoil me. Beautifully decorated bed, table out on the veranda for dinner and a birthday cake and singing for me. Wow. They made a special birthday even more special. I was lost for words. The rooms are amazing. Huge and with lovely views very spacious. The pool is great...a fantastic sea view. The restaurant has amazingly tasty food all cooked fresh. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. If we ever come back to zanzibar...you will be our first choice to stay at! Thanks so much for an unforgettable experience.

We booked Royal Cliff at the last minute and arrived an hour after booking. Upon arrival welcome drinks were ready for us and we were promptly showed to our suite. The room was spacious enough and the bathroom was very clean. Air conditioning was a bonus and we had no issues during our stay. The staff would call at lunch and dinner times and ask if we would like a menu bought to our room or if we would be joining them directly at the restaurant. The food was always fresh and portions were very generous! The swimming pool was always well-maintained and clean. Luckily for us there weren’t many guests which meant we had the pool to ourselves! Location-wise it is very centrally located- roughly 45 minutes either way to stone town or Nungwi. If you are thinking of staying here I would highly recommend it! Thank you for being so welcoming and making us feel at home!

Peaceful place in Chuini area, where you can enjoy the sunset, and relax in his confortables and quiet areas. Swimming pool clean and perfect for those who likes to get tan, with some umbrellas & sunbeds around. Beach was ok ok, when there is low tide, but no the best one in zanzibar. General services was good, friendly staff. Room: The place have some common areas but the room we stay on 2nd floor was big, very clean, TV with Azam local channels and toilet inside. They have room services and wifi that makes things easy. Food and breakfast was nice! A note: They don't sell any alcohol beverages. Recommend for couples and families.
