Hotel the Royal Vista

First day they gave my room to someone else. They called me 3 times to confirm i am coming to the hotel. I confirmed that i will come over. Then when i reached post finishing off my work at 10pm, they told me room is not available. They after lot of fight shifted me to a poor quality standalone room. Not even worth rs 1000 a night without any amenities. Then next day i moved to hotel. But i was never compensated for the first day loss. Also no one gave me the no. Of owner or manager on day 3 when i was checking as i wanted to discuss with him about how do they compensate for the day 1. Extremely poor customer sensitivity.

Lets talk about good thngs first. I liked the room, it's size and cleanliness. What i did not like is (1) most of of the items mentioned in the menu was not available (2) main entrance of the hotel is extremely narror and really nasty

A very pleasant surprise down an Indian lane, including a bullock tethered over a fire for the smoke to medicate it. Our whole stay was extremely good. An ideal place for rest and reflection in this awe inspiring city. The hotel is clean and relatively quiet. Our room had everything we require, except a fridge. This meant we bought water from the hotel at 32 rupees. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We did have to ask for extra lavatory paper but that seems to be the case all over India. We brought our own supply. The food is very good . Plenty of choice and flavour. The lovely young *** in the restaurant offered me great advice when asked for a recommendation for a lightly spiced choice. Afghani chicken, it was a delight, unusual to my palate but I loved it. The main strength of this hotel is definitely the staff. They are all smiling, friendly and helpful. Very willing to help when needed, when everyone joins in. A special mention to lovely Ruby. Her main function in life seems to be to feed up tourists. We learnt about several Indian staples from her. My husband received some great recipe tips. Overall The Royal Vista is absolutely what was needed for a comfortable respite from our rather hectic schedule.

I visited varanasi for the first time n was not expecting such a good stay in such a good price. The hotel was good n the room was excellent. I can recommend you to visit.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! the room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any request. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, service, and overall great experience

Car parking problem, many food not available as per menu, property neat and clean, staff also friendly,
