Schlosshotel Romischer Kaiser

Vienna City Centre
The hotel nestles in a quiet side street a 2 minute walk from St Stephanplatz. The friendly uniformed staff compliment the opulent decorations. The highly polished brass interior of the lift offers a clue to the high standard of the room that awaits you. The bathrooms are decorated tastefully with Versace tiles, well maintained and clean as was the lovely bedroom with its fabric wall coverings and beautiful chandeliers typical of the traditional Viennese style. The windows open onto the narrow cobbled street peppered with a few restaurants of a class that commands peaceful patronisation. Following an extremely restful night on an enormous bed with pillows chosen from the menu, one will descend to the restaurant where a veritable cornucopia of delights await. Coffee and small treats are freely available 24 hours a nice touch. There is no bar but drinks will be brought to the small lounge area should you so desire. This is a hotel of excellent value for money where nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We will return here often. Ian

For the first time, I had the urge to like me. The traffic was very convenient and I could walk to various attractions. Very recommended accommodation.
Hotel Bristol, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Vienna

This is truly an extraordinary, amazing hotel. The location just could not be any better, right next to the Opera House in the centre of Vienna. You can walk to most everything or there are major tram and Metro lines right outside the door. The hotel itself is classic and luxurious with old world charm, like being in a beautiful museum. And the rooms; without a doubt, this is the nicest hotel room I have ever had. It was spacious and comfortable with classic furnishings, sumptuous, exquisite bedding and delicious smelling toiletries. But the best part about this hotel is the staff. Genuinely warm and helpful service from everyone we encountered. From before we even arrived until the moment we left, we were made to feel welcome and valued. The concierge, the restaurant staff, front desk, housekeeping; no one could have been nicer, more helpful, or more accommodating. The breakfast was beyond excellent with the crowning touch being a honeycomb with fresh honey from their very own beehive on the roof of the hotel. I just can't wait to come back. Do yourself a favor and choose the Hotel Bristol when in Vienna. You will not be disappointed.

What an amazing little find! This hotel provides everything you could want for an amazing long weekend in this beautiful city. The rooms are a good size and well appointed. The welcome after a delayed flight was warm and accommodating… the personal handwritten note from the manager was a nice touch as were the truffles in the bedroom and the free minibar! The location is perfect, opposite the opera house and stop 1 on the tourist bus, positioned well for access to some amazing museums, heritage sites, gardens and the main shopping area if that is your thing. We had an inside room overlooking a ‘courtyard’… not the prettiest but it was very very quiet which for a city centre location was unusual. The breakfast was lovely, and the coffee and cakes in the patisserie divine. My only area of improvement… there was a lovely coffee machine in the room but no kettle… hot water for tea in the morning had to be called down for which always seemed a lot of trouble. The upside - we got up and out for breakfast early! A fabulous hotel in a wonderful city…. We will be back!
Hotel Sacher Wien

I slept at the Sacher for 3 nights and loved it as always, but I would like to share a few things that struck me. The arrival and the greeting was very nice as always. As always, the booked room met the requirements. I always ate in the room and the service was sometimes a bit shy (the young staff don't have to be afraid of the guests) I think it's a shame that some employees can no longer work at the Sacher because of COVID. The room cleaning is no longer twice a day, but only once and on request. The cleaning left the door open while they were cleaning up, which didn't bother me but wasn't worthy of the standard. This is how other guests could theoretically have seen me. I sat at the table. But due to this difficult covid pandemic, I understand some things and you can learn again. I would like to thank the whole sacher team for the nice stay, which I (as always) was able to enjoy at the Sacher. See you soon…

This hotel is highly recommended! The location is very large, the classical atmosphere is rich, it is a European hotel with a sense of time. It is very convenient to go to the main attractions of Vienna city, shopping and dining.
