Tivoli Residences Victoria

So you couldn’t write this a hotel where the beds are awful - don’t get my wrong the apartment was beautiful but they went cheap on the beds felt like I had slept on a door! They put us in block 5 which had a demolition site action early van dinging with reversing sounds-delightful lame reception nodded but no manager to be found Breky was lovely but won’t go back - good luck !

Property is showing its age, no legal TV subscription from the leading TV providers, just an IPTV box with pirated limited content. TV is 14years old and system is ultra cumbersome to use Very quiet area, bar by the pool area Limited kitchen accessories and utensils Parking underground is awful, columns everywhere, we just end up parking outside If you want peace this is the place, Condo is large .

We really enjoyed our stay at this resort despite the mixed reviews online Positives for us was that it was a very quiet place which we wanted as we needed rest. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. Room cleaning each day was part of our package which was lovely. Pool was clean and spacious and lots of free sunloungers, however the no smoking by the pool was not policed. There is no lifeguard here but not problem for us as our kids can swim. There was also a toddler pool and play area. We took Ubers everywhere rather than hiring a car - to supermarket and to nearby Marina and beach. Friendly staff and reception. Very secure site and felt very family friendly and safe. We liked that the room had a space separate for drying swimming stuff / laundry so we kept the balcony clear. A few mosquitos outside so take repellant if you are sensitive. Negatives were only 1 bar open and that was only in the day, which we felt was very expensive for breakfast and lunch so we self catered. However I think the prices were what you would expect for villamoura which is a more luxury golf resort. This hotel is not a place to party - but again that suited us perfectly. Also the bathrooms and some areas of kitchen were quite tired and needed a paint / re grouting / fixing up, so I would say this is not a 5 star accommodation rather a 4 star. It was perfect for us and we will definitely book again. but if you are looking for 5 star luxury this would not be it.

We have stayed in the Victoria Residence on a number of occasions and it continues to maintain the highest standards with regard to the rooms, cleanliness and facilities. The staff are without exception friendly, efficient and professional. We recommend the Residence without hesitation.
