The hotel is very attractive from the outside, a little outside of Halligalli. However, it is on the beach (you can only get into the water via steps that are very sticky and feel your way along the railing). The beach club has music from 11 a.m. until the evening, if that bothers you, you should get a room with a mountain view. However, there is a large construction site there at the moment. There was a friendly woman at reception who showed me the room, we decided to stay here for three days before continuing our motorcycle trip. The room was really new and clean. The bed was fantastic and no rocking mattresses. The only negative point in the room is actually the closet. I wouldn't have room in this closet for everything for 14 days. No drawers for laundry, but extremely high closets for what seemed like lots of suitcases 🤷🏼♀️. But otherwise the room is really very attractive. The sunset was really breathtaking, especially since there was always a saxophone player in the beach bar at that time. The prices in the beach bar and restaurant were all high, but there are also reasonably priced restaurants in the area with good food. Unfortunately, and as I have read in many forums, the breakfast room in the hotel is still not finished, so we had to go to the hotel next door. What can I say... unbelievably bad. The coffee is black broth with no taste, the "buffet" was almost always empty, the tables were not cleared, a terrible atmosphere. The hotel next door is called the Esbjerg Hotel and is supposed to be 4* plus. You have to draw attention to everything there. If something is empty, they get it, but in such small quantities that it is gone again straight away. The quality of the food is not that good either. But since we are only here for three days, this is OK for me - if I were to spend my annual vacation here, I would be upset every morning. The receptionist was really friendly, but in my opinion, with her outfits and extreme perfume, she did not fit behind this counter.
