The breakfast was absolutely superb, with yummy bacon, sausage and eggs which was cooked to perfection, plus orange juice and the added bonus of marmite. Cannot complain about the greeting and hospitality, which was both warm, informative and friendly. Sadly the room let the accommodation down - although the bed was extremely comfortable and I was very warm and cosy, towels soft and large, room spacious, comfy sofa with tv etc.... the only place I could see, to put my suitcase, was on the floor. The ensuite shower was about 1 ft plus off the ground with the smallest door entry and you were standing off kilter within the space. With the bath, you needed a step ladder to climb in (I didn't try). Not enough lights and mirrors in both the bedroom or bathroom - no good for make-up, putting on jewellery, checking what you look like etc. The only way to charge mobiles and the like, was via a couple of extension leads. Finally the only tea bags they offered in the room were builders/ PG tips/Tetley's (I think), no offer of breakfast/earl grey tea bags. Loved the idea of an "honesty bar ", which we didn't use, but did take use of a lovely warm, comfy and welcoming communal sitting room. Fantastic location, very quiet, wildlife passing by, near other arears you would want to visit, including Minsmere. I would go back, but perhaps bring my own mirror and lights
