Basic but clean place. Value for money if you are passing through (I was heading for Cradle Mountain). Staff were nice. Platypus viewing in the lake just down the road in the evening was a bonus. Waterfall is literally just across the road. Breakfast was just cereal and toast but was included so can’t complain. Recommended for budget travellers.

Really really great country pub, the rooms are great the showers are shared but clean has a kitchen area if you wanna do your own thing however the pub meals are very good and cheap

This is an old historic building and has been kept in excellent condition. Everything is very clean. The historic photos on display tell many stories of the tough mining times of yesteryear.

Lovely room and very clean. We enjoyed a few beers at the pub and a great pub meal consisting of a Parmi which was amazing and a homemade beef burger which is actually a legitimate homemade patty. I highly recommend this place and am happy I found it. Definitely on my recommended return to list. Oh and if they still have their Pepperberry gravy, get it.

Had a wonderful quintessential Aussie pub lunch. All of us loved our steak sangas and schnitzels. Caters for gluten free very well with a definite focus on those who need no gluten in their meals. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend
