Little Inn on Main

We loved the property! Our room was beautiful with nice touches. The bed was so comfortable. If we stay again, we’ll be sure to reserve a room on the top floor toward the parking lot in the back. We were on the bottom floor where the entrance is and guests kept us up at night coming in and out-also, people on the street were loud coming out of the wine bars and restaurants.

Perfect Adorable little town and beautiful boutique hotel. It was clean and perfect. The beds were very comfortable with thoughtful amenities.

Fabulous Probably the nicest hotel room we had ever spent the night in. Everything was top-notch and absolutely pristine clean. Manager was helpful and the breakfast was right next-door. We also loved being right in the center of the little town and near the river so we could have a great dinner.

We stayed in the Pamlico Room (#101). The "Inn" is a series of rooms opening off a single corridor that extends from the parking lot to a door in front that opens to Main St. Our ground floor room was the one closest to this door. The door banged loudly every time people entered from or exited to Main St. We were woken numerous times by the main door banging so loud that our own room's door shook. The room itself was nice and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The AC worked well, which was good because it was VERY hot and humid during our stay. There is no central sitting or gathering area or check-in area, and no concierge, etc. here. Check in and check out is done via an email link received on my smart phone. I am not even sure how one would check in if they did not have a smartphone...perhaps in the coffee shop next-door which is owned/operated by the Inn's proprietor. We would probably not stay here again. At just over $200 for our stay (including taxes), we did not feel that this Inn stay was a good value.

This "custom", small hotel is excellent. Every room has its own unique style. We had family in 4 rooms and a 2-room apartment. Rooms were clean, beautifully designed and priced very fairly. It has a great location one block from the beautiful Pamlico River and river walk. There are many great restaurants, shops and venues within a few blocks. We found the Mulberry House food to be outstanding! I recommend the omelets! Highly recommend you check out the "Little Inn"!
