Vacanza al Lily Palm, rilassante in un’ambiente famigliare con spiaggia e mare molto belli (c’è il fenomeno delle maree) personale gentile, buon cibo. Per il Safari non potevamo che scegliere il meglio, ci siamo affidati a SAFARI LENANA, un giovane ragazzo masai e il suo team, organizzazione impeccabile, assistenza prima, durante e dopo il nostro soggiorno. Siamo stati ad inizio settembre al Lily Palm, personale molto disponibile e gentile, i camerieri e cuochi del ristorante a buffet simpaticissimi e il cibo buono. Disponibilità di massaggi nel resort, un piccolo negozietto, reception con qualcuno sempre presente, due belle piscine e si respira un bel clima. Noi abbiamo fatto tutte le escursioni con Dalmus, una guida del posto che ci ha fatto scoprire l'Africa vera e che ringraziamo.

Animatori simpaticissimi e coinvolgenti, alla reception sempre disponibili e col sorriso, idem durante la colazione e cena. Il cibo a buffet con cucina al momento di alcuni piatti. Ci siamo sentiti parte di loro, c'era sempre qualcuno con cui parlare, che ti sorrideva. Un piacevole soggiorno! La ragazza che ci accoglieva al buffet è stata molto carina e simpatica con noi. Le stanze belle, unica nota non positiva erano gli scarichi arrugginiti in alcuni punti , però la stanza era sempre pulita. Anche l'esterno veniva pulito a prima mattina. Inoltre hai diverse scelte di piscine e c'è la vista sul mare. Tutte le sere c'è un evento, molto interessante. Durante il giorno giochi con gli animatori. A presto ragazzi!

Resort gestito da italiani e frequentato quasi esclusivamente da turisti italiani. Il resort presenta una continuità con il vicino hotel Acquarius con cui precedentemente era una unica struttura. Purtroppo è evidente la decadenza della struttura un po’ ovunque, bagni orribili,oltre che la scarsa manutenzione. Il personale è molto gentile ed tutto locale, grandi lavoratori a cui purtroppo manca una guida manageriale. Il ristorante del resort è buono, un po’ monotono anche se mosche e vespe pullulano ovunque sul cibo e vi restano indisturbate. Frutta sempre fresca e in grandissime varietà. Una nota particolare merita invece il ristorante Mapango dove i proprietari ti fanno sentire a casa, accogliendoti con calore amicizia e al bisogno risolvendoti anche qualche problema… La cucina del Mapango è ottima fresca e leggera, ottimi i cocktail così come speciali sono le serate musicali organizzate dai titolari. La posizione dell’hotel nel contesto e’ invidiabile… carinissime le scimmiette sugli alberi nel resort. Tornerei in fin dei conti soltanto per il ristorante il Mapango.

Struttura nel complesso soddisfacente, mancherebbero alcuni dettagli per mogliorarla strutturalmente, ma abbiamo mangiato bene, accolti benissimo alla reception da ragazzi Kennedy e Lilian che parlavano Italiano, bravissimi gli addetti delle pulizie alle camere e soprattutto i ragazzi dell'animazione. Chi vuol portare pc usati,libri di grammatica italiana per le scuole elementari e medie servirebbero alla scuola che si trova in fronte al resort, ogni maestra puo' essere il vostro riferimento all'interno.

Siamo stati al Lily Palm la prima settimana di settembre e ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene. Personale molto gentile e accogliente sempre disponibile, camere pulite, buon cibo, Wi-Fi con buona copertura, e con due belle piscine dove poter stare un po’ tranquilli lontani dai beach boys presenti sulla spiaggia. Per le escursioni ci siamo affidati a “Fragola Discovery Kenya”, un’agenzia del posto con cui avevamo preso contatti già dall’Italia. Super consigliato fare le esperienze con loro!!

It was supposed to be a relaxing holiday but it turned out to be a really stressful time, and still is now that I'm back, since I've been waiting for two weeks now to have several hundred euros back (which I wasn't supposed to be charged with in the first place). The local staff was kind but I can't say the same for the Italian staff (except the manager), which was unkind and rude at times and made you feel unwelcome. The weather was windy and the pools always quite cold so we couldn't really use them, and it was impossible to go to the beach (dirty) because at least 10/15 men at times would come to us trying to sell stuff and never left us alone even when asked to do so (first nicely, then annoyed) and also became verbally aggressive (quite scary since we were two girls by ourselves). The resort wasn't "ready" for clients, there were people using the hammer, painting and repairing the walls and working around, there were leaves and a lot of dead flies in the pools and the guys there stood up and started to clean only after seeing me trying to do so by myself. They try to "help" only when they can ask for tip money in return, there is generally no kindness nor professional attitude behind their gestures. The rooms are outdated, the mattresses by the pool are dirty in crow's escrements, the bathroom fixture is covered in limestone,...
