Wir waren von Donnerstag bis Sonntag mit Freunden im Harz und wählten dieses Hotel auf Empfehlung. Wir sind mehr als enttäuscht!! Schön die Begrüssung war sehr kühl und mit einem mürrischen Hinweis verbunden, bis 20 Uhr wäre die Küche noch besetzt. Auch Getränke, trotz vorhandener Bar, gab es nur noch, um sie mit auf die Zimmer zu nehmen. Essen war so lala, Soljanka sehr dünn (wurde gestreckt damit sie für mehr Portionen reicht, Würzfleisch schmackhaft ungenügend. Das Personal, bis auf 2 Damen, versuchte mit Freundlichkeit die Situation zu meistern. Das gesamte Hotel weist einen sehr hohen Investitionsbedarf auf. Von unserer Seite KEINE EMPFEHLUNG - NICHT ANHALTEN !!!

Der Empfang erfolgte unfreundlich. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer waren deutlich in die Jahre gekommen (u.a. Aschenbecher neben der Toilette (obwohl Nichtraucher-Zimmer!), Kunstblumen auf dem Tisch) und unsauber (deutliche Flecken auf dem Bettlaken und auch im Bad viel Staub). Die bunte Mohnblumen-Bettwäsche wirkte sehr unprofessionell. Im gesamten Hotel roch es unangenehm. Das Frühstück entsprach vom Umfang her den Anforderungen, aber: Die Butter wurde (sehr altmodisch und unhygienisch) im Wasserbad serviert. Der Käse stand bereits seit dem Vorabend auf dem Büfett (dieser war dadurch zum Frühstück trocken und wellte sich). Es gab kaum/kein Obst. Das Personal war deutlich überfordert. Tee wurde nur nach sehr langer Wartezeit und mehrmaligem Nachfragen serviert. Die Teller und Tassen waren SEHR unsauber und mussten mehrmals neu bestellt werden. Beschwerte man sich über die deutlich verschmutzen Tassen, antwortete die Bedienung, dass diese nicht unsauber seien. Das Abendessen war gut mit kleineren Schwächen (u.a. verbranntes Gemüse und ungezählter Weißwein) und auch der Service arbeitete deutlich besser im Vergleich zum Frühstück.
