We were a group of six, three siblings and their spouses, and we had three rooms along the ground level near each other. The boutique feel is carried all the way through, from the room names (ours after Grace Slick), the 1960s influenced decor, the record players and LPs in the rooms (it was great to play Carole King and Van Morrison and James Taylor), the vintage VW microbus out front, and so on. The rooms and baths were clean and the beds very comfortable. There is a pool where we dipped our toes while waiting for the third couple to arrive and an artificial turf putting green where you can practice your stroke (they supply balls and putters, included left-handed ones). There's a firepit at night that several of us spent time around. All in all, the hotel has a nice calming feel to it. The location is not in the town of Woodstock itself, but the drive there isn't far. There's a little café on the property where you can buy breakfast items and bring back to your room or eat there on a couple of tables. The hotel management is friendly and helpful. All in all, a great experience.
