Big4 Borderland Wodonga

We spent one night here on a powered site and, although it is close to the highway, we felt that there wasn’t too much traffic noise. Our drive-through spot was easy to park in and there was a a great pub around the corner for dinner. Facilities need a little updating but otherwise a great stay.

We had an extended stay whilst waiting to move into our home , found the staff friendly and very obliging, management of the park are very relaxed . Had large parcel delivered whilst away no problem they stored it for us whilst away. Reported a maintenance issue was repaired immediately. No complaints, mix of permanents , people working up here, visitors found it friendly would stay there again

We spent 2 nights here on a powered site. Some of the concrete sites are hard to get into because of the trees. The toilets and showers need a major heavy duty clean as it appears only basic cleaning done. There are quite a few permanents there and they have collected a lot of “junk” which makes the park look unkempt and uncared for. There also appears to be a lot of workers living there. Security is not very good. Cars were driving very fast in and out of the park.

We have stayed in a lot of caravan parks but sadly the over all look of the park is very run down. The state of what appears to be onsite vans are a disgrace and are a bad look for the park. Our cabin was clean and tidy but very run down. Staff were very friendly

No grass sites as advertised, pictures looked lush & green. Mould in the ladies showers, the sites were dry, but lovely old trees. Traffic noise from the highway was loud. I feel it was the worst big 4 I stayed in & I've been to a few. Heather and craig

We stayed in the poolside 2 bedroom cabin, it was nice and clean, it has everything you need for 4 ppl. It is reasonably quite despite the major highway being 200mtrs away. The cabin itself does need an upgrade, I.e: needs some small repairs, squeaky floors are loud and the bed mattresses are not comfortable- double bed is hard old spring matteress, bottom bunk mattress was soft, the top bunk mattress was so thin you can feel the slats underneath. The rooms are pokey which makes it difficult to setup as there is limited space to move about. The outdoor space is a covered deck, and has a 6 seat table, the downside is that the afternoon sun comes straight onto the deck - there isnt any sun shade from the afternoon sun. Curtains need to be drawn to avoid heat in the cabin. The pool is clean, shaded and a good size and a good depth for kids and adults for a cool down, the bonus of the cabin is the proximity to the pool. The parking area can fit a car and a water ski a boat would park further away. The park upon arrival the entrance is typical of a caravan park look, an update would make the premises more welcoming. The staff are nice helpful and prepared for your arrival. The downside after entering the park you will notice the permanent client lots a small portion and of these some will give the park a rough and un-kept feel as they are run down or over cluttered with items. Look past that and the rest of the park is very good for an afternoon stroll or kids to ride a bike and play amongst the other cabins and caravans. The parks games room is for small kids with a large wall size chalkboard and some kid toys, a pool table (no balls and only one pool stick which I think is at reception with an 90"s style coin racing arcade game. A large outdoor play area for soccer, football etc and a mini golf course for some fun with a return deposit for equipment, Byo sports is ok too. Overall stay 3.5 star..

I would rather cut my rist's an stay here again. It is to close to the Hume Hwy. The cabin felt like it was sagging to one side and the small deck at the entrance was loose, so it could be a trip hazard.

Stayed in the budget family cabin and it was fantastic So clean and comfy, has everything you need. Close to shops etc. Will definitely stay again. The whole caravan park was neat and tidy and actually quite quiet.

Clean park, caravan spaces are not very big at all. I called to book our site, as we are larger than most. Plus we have 2 kids with swags. We booked an ensuite site, our van length only just fitted, and I mean JUST. We could not put our annex out as there was not enough sideway space between the van and ensuite, let alone for the kids to put up their swags; however this was quickly resolved by the park, they did offer us another spot, but it did involve hooking the van back on. Unfortunately we did not receive an apology for the mix up after I did tell them we purposely called to book for this reason. But all resolved, no hard feelings. Park was in a quiet spot and a quiet area. However the quiet time is a little curious 8pm till 10am. Ensuites are clean and tidy with a supply of towels, was made of fibreglass, tight squeeze for the toilet but comfortable shower.
