Let’s talk about the advantages first. This inn is just on the outskirts of Edinburgh, about 10 kilometers away, and has a good location. Accommodation in Edinburgh is expensive and parking is difficult. Therefore, it is quite a good choice to stay here; in addition, parking is very convenient, there is a parking lot in front of the hotel, and there are sufficient parking spaces. At 9 pounds a night, this parking fee is simply a bargain in the UK and is very friendly for self-driving. You can see the British pastoral scenery from the door of the inn, which is very beautiful. The disadvantage is that the price is not cheap and there is no elevator. Although the floor is not high, there are only 3 floors, but if you have a lot of luggage, it will take a while. The air conditioner in the room cannot be adjusted by itself and it is very hot. Nothing wrong with anything else.

Good location. Found hair in the mushroom batter. Put me off total meal. Beware. Rooms ok, but need desperately updating, hall skirting boards paint on floor, not as clean as room looks. Most staff friendly. If the Premier managers read these, then take action.

Booked a double room to get a twin room, Premier Inns mistake. No more rooms available so they just pushed the beds together. Had a restless sleep and bad back in the room. Asked for a refund the receptionist wouldn't help and didnt care they had got the booking wrong. Got no compensation or free breskfast, nothing.spolit our time away

The hotel is situated in pleasant countryside a few miles outside Musselburgh. The positives end there. My room was a long way from reception, not helped by the absence of a lift. Premier Inns aren't known for their character but this one was very dull. The room was typical of a standard Premier Inn. Breakfast was at the adjacent Brewer's Fayre. It was appalling. Everything was luke warm at best and was very unpleasant to eat.

Very comfortable room, got everything you need for an overnight stay. Would definitely use premier Inn again as it had all the facilities on site. It's located in a nice area and was lovely and peaceful. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a short break.

Can't guarantee the room was cleaned thanks to finding rubbish under the bed from the previous people, the room cost like £130 for the night so it's not acceptable for that kind of money to not be cleaned properly, makes you wonder what the cleaning/hygiene protocols are

We were there as a big group and the service was excellent. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The premier inn staff organised everything for us from our evening meal to our breakfast the next day. A really warm welcome when we arrived with everything prepped and ready for a speedy checkin. We will defintely be back.

I booked this hotel for a colleague, with a strange request for a "safari of animals" made out of towels. Thank you so much Linzie for putting a smile on quite a few of our faces, they were amazing and very creative! (We gave back the chocolates as although a kind gesture, felt bad eating them)
