Breakfast is a local breakfast, see the picture, relatively plain. I like to eat meat in the morning so it is not very appetizing. The hotel itself is really beautiful, the official website said that the 13XX Pasha Palace was refurbished and refurbished. The hotel is located in the old town and is convenient to wherever you go. But the Old City is harder to find, so you must not miss the sign on the wall when you walk! Finally, in a digression, I encountered a small gangster who forced the way to lead money in the alley. The riad was a gem hidden on a street in the Medina. We were welcomed with a cup of mint tea after a long day of traveling from Rabat. It was quiet and very authentic. Our room and our two older daughters rooms were big. We had dinner one night and the service and food was excellent. We even had a bottle of wine with our dinner. In the afternoon after walking around the Medina and touring the sights, their rooftop offered a nice quite place to rest with a panoramic view of Fes. The riad is about a 5 min walk from the tannery. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful. Their breakfasts were excellent, fresh OJ, yogurt, bread, cake and they will make you eggs or omelets. Great way to start the day,

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Ouliya staying in their beautiful Scheherazade Suite. Rachid the owner and his crew were warm and welcoming. The riad is well positioned inside the Medina, but close to an exit where you can get a taxi, etc. Our breakfasts were wonderful as was the one dinner we had there. Will be back…. One note: We explored parts of the Medina our first day without a guide. I’m confident and a pretty good navigator, but not good enough…. Our second day we hired a guide. SO MUCH less stress and more enjoyable.

It is a courtyard residence, a family hotel with local characteristics. It is very close to the small blue door. In the ancient city, the entire hotel has only five rooms. The suite I booked on the second floor is very large, with a large bed and two small rooms. Beds, sofas, toilets and bathrooms are relatively small, and the entire ancient city can be seen from the roof on the third floor. The scenery is good. The breakfast is well prepared, and the price is not expensive, which is not bad. By the way, everyone remembers to bring slippers and toothbrushes and toothpaste when you go to Morocco. Basically, the hotel does not provide these.
