Mayfields Guest House

I regularly stay at the May Fields for work and cannot recommend the place highly enough. Paul and Lesley are incredibly welcoming and really look after their guests. The rooms are impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities you could want. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and value for money make it the perfect choice for regular travelers.

Brilliant, the owners are very accomodating. Room is Cosy and have firdge, kettle, and hairdryer. Bathroom is clean and has hot shower. I booked the embrook room with garden view. Comfy bed... They serve nice breakfast with hot food and cereals, fruits yogurt and fresh juices. And 10 mins away by foot from Nirvana Spa. ♥️ Highly recommend. Thank you.

Loved staying overnight at the House. Breakfast was great. Good car parking facilities. The owner dried my Husband’s wet swimming trunks. There were towels on top of the bed. There were tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was cooked breakfast

A lovely family run home from home. Paul and Lesley did everything they could to accommodate us, from adding a bed to our room so that we could stay as 3 in the family, to specially buying in vegan spreads and milk and even giving us a lift to our wedding venue, when the discovered that we were intending to walk down a road which was not very good for pedestrians. They were very friendly and welcoming and the whole place was very clean and conducive to staying. The both obviously work very hard to make a success of their venture. Breakfast was well suited to our various tastes and we were even encouraged to eat our take-away dinner the night before in the dining room and they insisted that they washed up after us. It is one of the best b and b's we have ever stayed in and reflects the hard work which they put into it. If we ever need to be that way again, we would definitely rebook and would recommend it to anyone - it is lovely They also went out of their way to accommodate friends of ours, one of whom is disabled, in a downstairs accessible room. A definite five star stay and well recommended.

Lovely place,slightly disappointed to have been asked to remove my shoes before going up to my room( I have bad arthritis) secondly difficult getting in and out of the bed due to low beams either side of bed. I can’t judge on any other room. I studied the reviews before my stay stay, and people clearly love this beautiful home.
