this is a well established hotel just beside of the well known pedestrian street Jianghan, just 5min walk to metro station, with rent bicycle available all around station and beyond. Lawsons is also very near.Hotel lobby is of a grand classical style and lifts fitting royals, room amenities more than one can expect, all was just amazing. Pagoda and bridge was the best. but Jianghan street daily overcrowded, with 5x more ppl than it can accommodate, same with Gode temple.

The staffs were friendly, helpful and efficient in their work. The premises were kept in tip top condition and spotless, a feeling of brand new. The hotel lobby was simply magnificent. Made me felt like a VIP. The breakfast at the revolving restaurant was without question superb - wide range of Chinese, Western and local specialities. The Metro station entrance was only 5 minutes walk. Between the station and the hotel were full of eateries, convenient stores and flowers shops. This hotel is highly recommended. My wife and I had a lovely time. See Yem Kan

It’s a wonderful hotel , very near to Jianghshan pedestrian street which many different local foods and activities. Night life as well. The staff are so friendly. I highly recommend it

The staff were very helpful at check in and accommodating for me and my roommate arriving at different times. It was close to where I needed to be although very difficult to have a taxi drive up to the entrance as the opposite exit is blocked leading to a 10 point turn in a very cramped parking area. As far as the room and amenities go it was poor. The AC is very old and cannot control or change the temperature well, even on the lowest setting the room was uncomfortably hot so this was pretty bad as it was 38 degrees for most of my stay. I had many other friends staying in the hotel with a similar problem either too hot or too cold and so I didn’t see the point in trying to change to another room. There is very little light in the room only lamps and no main light so difficult to see clearly especially at night and cannot do make up etc. there is a big old fashion console next to the bed that is impossible to turn off with a bright green clock and the clock kept sounding an alarm every other hour and an ayi helped me to turn off the alarm only for it to continue. The light switches are very difficult to find how to turn on and off and the sockets for charging electrical appliances did not work at all except one very far from the mirror. My card for turning on the power to the room also rarely worked and I had to play around with it. When I asked to have it looked at I was told to just play around with it…. Bathroom also had a lot of other hair in it from previous guests. The price and location are reasonable but I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it — especially when the weather is really hot or really cold because the temperature control is terrible inside rooms. I give the staff a good rating but the condition and working order of the amenities a thumbs down.

Good location, not too far from subway, affordable rooms and very friendly staff at reception. The room was clean and very cozy. The only thing that was a bit confusing is the hairdryer. I guess it's very old, but that doesn't matter. It was broken. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I'd like to stay at Meilian again if I go to Wuhan one day.

The hotel is in a good location, just a 5-minute walk from Xunlimen subway station, and it is very convenient to various attractions. The lobby is spacious and the rooms are average, the hygiene is OK, the bathroom is relatively small, the door faces the toilet, and it is inconvenient to stand in the bathtub to take a shower, and the water is not very smooth, but the service staff of the room is very good and responsive. Breakfast is located on the top floor, with a wide view, a full range of varieties and good taste. Due to personal reasons, I dyed two square towels and a medium towel of the hotel, and was asked to pay 50 yuan in compensation. I feel that the charge is too expensive. The compensation should be charged reasonably and the interests of consumers should be protected. However, it is indeed better to be careful not to let such things happen.

I went to Wuhan during the May Day holiday. I didn't consider this hotel at first, but finally decided to stay here. The attitude of the front desk and the hygiene of the room are all good. I will definitely book this hotel next time I go to Wuhan!

The best hotel 10 years ago, now the room facilities are old; the location is really good, close to the subway station, Jianghan Road, and IFC, within walking distance, if it weren't for the old room facilities, it would definitely be more than this price; the carpet in the room is dirty, the biggest problem is that there is a door in the room that leads to the next room, which can be opened, although there is a lock, but it still feels scary; finally, you need to collect a deposit, which is an old-fashioned method, and the refund is fast, which is a little uncomfortable. Although the location is excellent, I probably won't consider it next time.

Good location, I give a good review on this point, nothing to say about the rest. The hotel facilities are relatively old. After staying for one night, the faucet of the wash basin started to leak and could not be turned off. First, the running water would make noise, and second, it was a waste of water. I went out in the morning and reported the problem to the front desk, and they said they would help to fix it. When I came back in the evening, I opened the door and all the lights were on. I thought there was someone in the room, or the master was fixing the faucet. I went in and looked around, but there was no one. The water was still running, and there was another room card inserted? ? I called the front desk, and it turned out that there was only one person on duty at night, and I had to wait a while to arrange someone to come up and check. Such a big hotel only arranged one person on duty during the May Day holiday? ? After waiting for a long time, someone finally came and said that it couldn't be fixed, and then I asked why there was another room card. If the staff came to fix it during the day or cleaned up the room and forgot to take it away, I could understand, but he said that the staff's card was not like this, but he scolded me and insisted that it was my card? ? I showed him that I had my card in my hand. Didn't the front desk give me two cards when checking in? ? In the end, I agreed to change a room, but it was really bad at night!
