Intercontinental Wuhan Reviews

The room is really clean and large when I checked it was a really late at night, and the front desk has upgraded me to a and bigger room, which has significant view to the bridge of the city. My wife and I really enjoyed it. Also access to outside. It’s convenience to. I want to say the overall well designed hotel.  I also took the picture of the views by comparison in the daytime and nighttime are recommended to anyone this hotel. 

Great place and me being a gym rat the gym was always accessible….

Located at the front of the Wuhan expo center are the intercontinental and Holiday Inn hotels. A good location for a river view and relaxing weekend. I chose the intercontinental, as our experiences at the Shanghai Wonderland and Chongqing Raffles intercontinental had been fantastic. So I booked this for our anniversary with high expectations. The hotel is grand and the rooms are lovely. The lobby cafe where breakfast is served is huge with a venetian style interior and roof. The hotel restaurant serves Cantonese style food and is worth a visit. A few photos attached. The service at the restaurant was sub par, and the bill was wrong, which we got the pleasure of finding out when the restaurant began to ring our room repeatedly around 10pm to ask me to go back and pay 30Yuan extra. Which wasn't a problem, but after 4/5 calls late at night to be told I'd walked out without paying down the phone was disappointing when I paid the bill I had been presented with. On our a trip we were quite disappointed to find out on arrival that the swimming area was completely closed, as this would have been useful information before booking. Our trip to Wuhan was great, but the service at this intercontinental didn't live up to their colleagues and previous experiences.

The environment is phenomenal!! One thing to beware of is when we went to the pool we found out it closes at 9:00pm. We arrived there at 8:30pm and the staff wouldn’t let us in until we had to basically beg.. we only wanted this hotel because of the pool so we were a little disappointed with their attitude. Overall, the experience was very good but there are plenty of other 5-star hotels that are closer to downtown and have the same vibe.

Beautiful views of the river. Place needs maintenance

As soon as I entered the InterContinental, I felt that the environment was very good. When I checked in at the hotel lobby, Manager Zoe specially upgraded our room type. The room had a small balcony. The view of the river outside was particularly beautiful, and the direction of the room was suitable for watching the sunrise. The scenery was very good. The next day, because I was waiting to watch the sunrise in the morning, I wanted to check out later. I sent a message to Manager Zoe early in the morning and she replied to me in seconds, so we slept a lot longer in the hotel. I don't think I need to say much about the hygiene of the InterContinental. Even the mirror in the room was very clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. I communicated with the front desk at night and needed some items, which were delivered very quickly. The guys at the door took the initiative to come up to help with the luggage, and they were full of details. In general, it was a very, very good accommodation experience, and I will come again next time! Thank you Manager Zoe and all the InterContinental staff in Wuhan!

The hotel scenery is very good, with a first-line river view, and the location is very convenient. I like this hotel very much. This InterContinental hotel is considered to be a very high-end hotel in China. The service is very good, the front desk is professional, and the check-in is very fast. Thanks to Director Feng for arranging the room. You can see the beautiful Yangtze River view in the room. This hotel will stay in again when I come to Wuhan next time

The service is very good and full of humanistic care. It's my first time in Wuhan. Because the hotel I stayed in was great, I left a very good impression on this city. I will come again in the future!

The hotel faces the Yangtze River and has a great view. It was raining in Wuhan when I stayed there. I asked the front desk for a dehumidifier. They were very friendly and welcoming. There were many types of breakfast. The restaurant environment was also very good. It is worth recommending

The service of InterContinental is as good as ever. Before I checked in, the customer service lady arranged a room on a high floor according to my preferences. Knowing that it was our first time in Wuhan, she took the initiative to upgrade the river view room for us. The room is very large, the view is first-class, the facilities are complete, the breakfast environment is also good, and the service staff are very enthusiastic and answer all my questions. In short, this is my only choice for Wuhan.

The second time I stayed there, there were much fewer people than last time, I felt a little emotional. The restaurants in the neighboring hotel were closed. The hotel staff were still so dedicated and responsible. The service was just as warm and thoughtful, which was not easy. Although there were not many people, the morning gathering was still very rich, thumbs up.
