Hotels Near Catholic Church, Tangfang Street in Xi'an

The hotel is neat and clean, located in the downtown area, but very quiet. Although the lobby is on the 4th floor, there is always a reception on the first floor and the service is very good. The breakfast was good, especially the fried noodles. I didn’t get tired of it after eating it for several days. I also gave the children souvenirs when I left. The children loved it.

Thoughts on Zhiyuan Before I arrived in Xi'an, I searched for hotels online and saw Zhiyuan Hotel. I was pleased. Knowing to stop, I thought that its owner should get the door of wisdom. I went there happily. I would like to share this thought. The round gate is narrow and the road is shaded by flowers and trees. It is needless to say that it is a bit quiet. I checked in, went to bed, and thought about stopping. Stopping begins with action and ends with action. Action and knowledge accompany. There are people who act without knowledge, like a foolish child learning to walk, looking for food when hungry, and thinking about spring in season. This is the way of heaven! Ignorance can also act. There are people who act with knowledge, knowing the skills to provide for themselves, knowing books to be famous, knowing shame and then courage. This is the way of man. Knowledge drives action, action leads to knowledge, and the cycle never tires. Knowledge and action are one. Then when will it stop? Those who act without knowledge follow the way of heaven, do not burden others, and act freely. Those who act with knowledge follow the way of man, and give what they get from others. The Way of Heaven nourishes all living things without selfishness. Since it is selfless, it will not harm its selfishness. The Way of Heaven is prosperous not because of its greatness, but because of its selflessness. The Way of Man follows the Way of Heaven. When people let go of their selfishness, they will also gain endlessly. What they gain is not temporary or temporary. If they covet the gains and losses of the present, they will lose in the long run. Those who judge this Way based on the gains and losses of a moment or a situation are far away from the Way! When people are young, they must set great ambitions and want to know and act. However, too much is as bad as too little. If knowledge is sp**** in action, selfish desires are difficult to eliminate, and they will be reckless and follow the Way of Heaven and burden people. When they are about to die, their ambitions and momentum are declining, and knowledge is dense in action. They will not stop but stop, and follow the Way of Man but have no results. Therefore, there are three ways to stop thinking. The first is to follow the Way of Heaven without burdening people. The second is to follow the Way of Man without selfishness and love people. The third is not to be lazy, to know and act, and to act to gain knowledge, which is the first one. Three questions about stopping thinking: Is following the Way of Heaven burdening people? Is following the Way of Man selfish? Is the unity of knowledge and action lazy? Only when you know what to do and what to stop can you do what you want! If you only ask for what you want to do, you will not get the right result. The above is for self-encouragement! When I went out, I saw that Zhiyuan was the former residence of General Hucheng. It was a great style. Establish the destiny of the people, for the great cause of thousands of years, and eliminate one's own selfishness. I have learned!

The only complication was that the address we had for the Hotel was Nr 100 Xiwu Rd. and it really was Nr 50. But it has a big sign in front of the building, with the name on it. Close to the metro (Line 2 Beidajie station), easy to get to the places we wanted to visit. The staff kindly helped us with our questions in English or via translator apps. Very good breakfast. The room was very modern, comfortable and clean.

Hotel location is excellent, the clock tower C, the clock tower is out, the night view nearby is beautiful, the popular scenic spots such as Drum Tower and Muslim Street are only 5 minutes away, the National Day price is very favorable and very favorable, the hotel interior decoration is exquisite and luxurious, you can compare with the luxury type. The sound insulation effect of the room is good, the facilities are relatively complete, the bedding is very new and comfortable to sleep, the hot water temperature and water volume in the bathroom are beautiful, the air conditioning is strong, the front desk and the cleaning aunt are very polite, the Wi-Fi is very smooth, the overall recommendation is very cost-effective! There is also a free gym, laundry room, coffee provided! Enjoy the night view at night and walk less than 0.5 kilometers to punch in the night view of Xi'an City Wall to feel the charm of Xi'an. It is recommended and great value.

A friend & I stayed in a private 2-bed room with private bath. The beds and pillows were excellent, & the room cooled quickly due to good air conditioning. It was July and hot outside. The hostel has a great laundry room, including detergent and dryers! There are many young people staying here, so the environment is fun and lively, with billiards, live music, & a bar for enjoying coffee, beer, or adult beverages. The breakfast (optional) was adequate but very simple. Since Xi'an is a great foodie destination, probably most guests don't eat in the hostel. Our Chinese language skill is very low, but the front desk was helpful and patient, even though the hostel was very, very busy. Oh, the location is perfect: next to the bell tower, super-close to the metro, and a short walk to the Muslim food streets.

Wonderful accommodation with great attention to detail. Everything has been thought through. The cleanliness is remarkable and the staff very attentive and helpful. Service is extremely generous! The guest is the full focus and satisfaction is definitely a given here. The rooms are beautifully furnished and everything you need can be found. You have to see and use the roof terrace! The tea rooms are also full of attention to detail! I can wholeheartedly recommend it. 100/10 ❤️

The hotel is located in a really convenient location for travellers. It is located between the drum tower and Bell tower.. in addition, the Huimin Street ( food street ) is behind the hotel ( 2 minutes walk). The staff at the hotel are really welcoming and kind-hearted, and help with anything you need during your stay. The front desk staff speacilly (Mrs. Lei yu) is really hospitable and kind. her kindness and welcoming face made this trip a memorable trip. The hotel rooms are hygienic and beautiful. the rooms are cleaned daily.. and the commodities ( for example, water bottels, tissue, comb, etc) are renewed every day. Although i did not use some, every time the room is cleaned, the attended puts new ones... this really reflected the staff commitment to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel has an eating area, where breakfast is provided to the guests.. the food is tasty, and both Western and chinese dishes are available. In the hotel lobby, there is a tour guide who can arrange for you to visit attractions in this beautiful city. The tour prices are cheap and the tours are really convenient. And they arranged for me an english speaking tour guide. Overall, the hotel location, hotel staff, rooms, and services are excellent.. will recommend this place for anyone who wants to come to xi'an.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for three nights. We booked a standard room which was very affordable, and the hotel is located in the city centre, great location! There is a subway station just right next to the hotel so that’s very convenient as traffic in Xi’an is terrible! Upon check-in, a member of staff helped us and he was very friendly, he spoke English very well and that was helpful for us. Apparently the room that booked isn’t available so they upgraded us to a suite which was sweet! The room was humongous! It was very fancy, however I think the hotel is quite old, and some interior needs changing. We had a massive bed, maybe a California king bed? Very comfy bed! We had afternoon tea for two and a happy hour in the evening. (Not our favourite but it was a good deal). The gym was good too, they have some basic equipment and we were happy with it. The swimming pool was full of children so we didn’t use it, as we wanted peace and quiet. This is the most exciting part! On our final night, we got back quite late from exploring Xi’an and when we entered our room, it was pretty dark. No electricity. 🤣 I was super exhausted and I wanted to have a bath and just relax. But no can do. We had to go downstairs and update staff about the situation. We were told to wait downstairs, they gave us some water and we sat for about 15 minutes or so. And then a staff came to see us with a new set of key cards. She apologized to us for the inconvenience, like many times! We told her it wasn’t their fault but I think they really need some renovation haha (I didn’t say that to her), so she said we will be moved to a different room, from 20th floor to 28th floor. It sounded like we just got upgraded again! Haha. So we headed up to our new room, I opened the doors and wow! It was a 2-floor suite! It was amazing! I wanted to live in it haha. We were very exhausted and tired but it was a very sweet experience to have! My favourite was the bathroom as we had double sinks! (Yup that’s my thing) Overall, our stay in this hotel has been amazing. (Apart from the electricity problem) We liked the staff best, they were very helpful and kind to us. Everyone who worked in this hotel has been superb! And lastly, the manager gave us 20% discount as a compensation for the electricity incident. I would recommend this hotel to others due to its great location and incredibly helpful staff.

Located near to CityWall. For those who wish to stay near to the CityWall, I recommend you stay at this hotel. There are a garden near the city wall and at night there are pubs and live music across the wall. You can visit their morning market near the wall. There are some restaurants near the hotel and you explore behind the hotel, there is a restaurant that serve barbecue meat and local food

Right next to Xing Cheng Live Theater (picture below), this hotel is just around the perfect area to start exploring Xi’an! The subway station is super close, around 5 mins walk! Also, the the front desk service is pretty helpful! There’s always someone there to help!👍👍 Finally, the room is quite spacious and comfortable! I loved the shower room, too! 🚿 I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again next time!✌️100% recommended 🎊🎈🤩🤩
