"The location truly can't be beat. It's just a few minutes' walk to the commercial area and subway station, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. The Bell and Drum Towers are right across the street, and Kaiyuan Temple is nearby. However, the stay also had some significant downsides. The soundproofing is a major issue; I could clearly hear conversations from the next room and footsteps in the hallway at night. The TV volume was incredibly loud; even on a very low setting, it was still too much. As a light sleeper, I really struggled and didn't get a good night's rest. The shower was another headache. The water temperature kept fluctuating between hot and cold, and I spent ages trying to find a comfortable setting, making showering a constant source of anxiety. While the location is definitely a plus, the shortcomings in service and facilities really impacted the overall experience. I hope the hotel can make some improvements."

"This is a very good hotel in terms of services and location. It is located just 100-200 metres from Bell Tower and shopping mall. Can walk to Drum Tower and also Muslim Street about 15 minutes. When we booked our trip to Huashan and Terracotta the group tour bus picked us up just in front of the hotel. We stayed for 6 nights and the services were maintained. Breakfast were okay. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Our room cleaned daily. No complaint or any issues with this hotel. Just perfect for us family of 4 ❤️"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Elegant Hotel Xi’an Bell Tower. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with immaculate rooms and common areas that clearly show great attention to detail and high standards of housekeeping. One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view of the ancient city wall. Waking up to such a historic and iconic sight was truly unforgettable and made the experience feel special and unique. The location near the Bell Tower is perfect for exploring Xi’an, with major attractions, restaurants, and shops all within easy reach. The room was comfortable, modern, and well designed, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff were courteous, professional, and always willing to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, The Elegant Hotel Xi’an Bell Tower is an outstanding choice clean, comfortable, perfectly located, and offering some of the best views of Xi’an’s ancient wall. I would highly recommend it and would gladly stay here again."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location right next to the Bell Tower subway station, making it easy to walk to attractions like the Muslim Quarter and the Bell Tower. The rooms are clean and tidy, with complete amenities and comfortable bedding, perfect for short stays. The breakfast offers a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options, catering to different tastes. We even received a complimentary fruit platter upon check-in! However, some rooms can be affected by noise, and the room space is a bit small, which can feel cramped if you have a lot of luggage. Overall, it offers good value for money and is ideal for travelers who prioritize convenient transportation, though guests who require more space might want to inquire about room types beforehand."

"There are multiple disappointing things. The free ancient costume deal is pretty much useless because it only covers the clothing. If hair or makeup is needed, the price goes back to the same as the customer without the deal. No one walks around in ancient clothing with a modern haircut. There is no USB port on the wall for phone charging, a power adapter is required. The ceiling has water stains after three showers, see the picture below. When I checked out, Xiao Yang at the front desk gave me a souvenir and asked me to give a 5 star rating on the spot. I already booked the vehicle to take us to the station and the car was waiting outside. So I asked him to take the souvenir back and I would do the review later. He asked me to keep the souvenir. The housekeeper Xiao Liu was nice, left some snacks on our first day to welcome us and left a note on the places worth visiting. Even though we never met this housekeeper, our rooms were kept clean. The hotel building needs some serious renovation. The air conditioning is weak, so the rooms are still cold after I increased the temperature."

"The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a separate lounge area and a large bathroom with a dry and wet partition. I stayed for a week and was thoroughly impressed! The view of the city wall at night from the window was stunning, and the service was exceptional. It's just over 200 meters from Metro Line 2, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Yongning Gate and SKP mall are right outside the door."

"I had a wonderful stay at Eastern House hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything I needed. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants, which made getting around very convenient. Breakfast was also delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others. I would definitely love to stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"The location is great! It's very convenient to get to Xi'an North Station and the Bell Tower via Line 2. The hotel is right next to Exit B of Longshouyuan subway station; turn right when you exit, and there's a bus stop to the left. Across the street, there's a mall with a Chang'an Grand Theater restaurant, and in the evenings, there are plenty of food stalls at the intersection. The hotel breakfast is also good. This was my first time back to Xi'an in 10 years since graduation. The familiar bus announcements, the familiar subway, the familiar pedestrian overpass in Xiaozhai – but I didn't dare go back to my old school. People always try to hold onto the past, yet nothing ever truly changes. May we all have a fresh start in the New Year."

"Nice hotel with very friendly, helpful staff that were very attentive to our messages on WeChat. They helped us plan our visits to the Terracotta Army site (can get there by metro and bus 613) and Mount Hua (high speed train from Xianbei). Nice room with good facilities. Shower head was a little faulty and some water leaked out of the shower/toilet basin area into the main room, but otherwise no issues. Free self service laundry provided, and free bottled water available at reception. Good heating, comfortable beds. There was a large window but no view. Good location, a short walk from the metro. It is a little hidden down an alleyway when you first arrive but the hotel provides clear instructions on how to find it and there are lots of signs to point you in the right direction."
