I am extremely impressed and happy with alot of great things staying at Novotel Bell Tower Xian. 1.Awesome location, right outside is Zhonglou station and nearby is Bell tower, there are malls and many eateries nearby too, just need to use underpass to get to the malls. 2. very helpful and friendly service staffs and the cleaning staff. I noticed the cleaner has very good observation, for e.g. I didn't bring my toothpaste so I had to open 1 packet of toothbrush set just to use toothpaste, i went out for the day, my room was cleaned when I returned, I noticed the cleaners placed 2 pieces of mini toothpaste for me at the sink. :) 3. when I ordered delivery items from ********. the counter staff sent to my room using their robot, which is such a cute sight. 4. the breakfast spread are rather decent 5. Hotel is generous with drinking water, alot of hotels in China seemed to have a capped limit in providing drinking water bottles per room day. but this hotel really surprised me. 6. love the convenience of self service laundromat at the hotel too, really convenient for me. I would love to stay at this hotel should I travel to Xian again! thank you so much!

I encountered a tour group with extremely poor quality. They kept the door open and made noise in the corridor at two o'clock in the morning. It made it impossible for me to sleep. The guy at the front desk coordinated and arranged a room change overnight. I heard that there were children accompanying me, so I made an exception. The room type was upgraded and I was very impressed. The room service is really attentive and makes you feel at home. It is much more considerate than those traditional luxury hotels. In the future, Atour S Wu will be my first choice when visiting Xi'an!

I like this dark style hotel. However, apart from the reception desk, the room size and the facilities, everything else is just average. The reception desk upgraded me to a new room and there was a scale in the room. I like this a lot. However, at night, my friend's car needed to be taken to the hotel basement, but the concierge at the door was nowhere to be seen. It made our car parked on the sidewalk, which was very embarrassing.

The hotel definitely has a 1950s luxury vibe, it's a part of a large Renmin Square hotel complex that share some facilities (notably a great swimming pool in the next building). The location is great, walking distance to the city centre and like 7 min from metro. The hotel made a mistake in my booking and upgraded me to a suite as a result (which was nice but that room was not ready so I had to wait). The suite was nice, with a comfortable bed and pretty much twice everything I needed. Also two wifis - only the Renmin one worked, the hotel one recommended by reception did not work at all. The room had like 20 switches next to the bed, I picked the 'Night' one - bad surprise, it also switches off the bedside socket so I woke up to a discharged phone.

This was within walking distance to a train station and nice strolling distance to attractions like the city wall, the bell tower, drum tower, etc. Watch the night come alive downstairs with the night hawkers just a few steps from the hotel, and visit the tasty noodles place opposite the hotel. The friendly biang biang noodles shop waiters will welcome you in from the cold. There's a 7-11 walking distance too, for the onigiri and other modern conveniences. The room was very nice and spacious, with nice sitting areas around the room.

I have always loved Mercure chain hotels. Beautiful hotel next to Huimin Street. The hotel is very clean and its breakfast has amazing varieties. Top floor has a laundry room (complimentary) and gym room overlooking Xi’An city. I would suggest higher floors facing South side if you like city view. Very quiet. I am most impressed with the service. Nothing is too much and it’s beyond my expectations. Everyone is helpful, professional and so well-trained. Any request is handled with care. 不想給差評，但是入住體驗太差了，入住當天，被老闆小哥領到另一棟樓裏，打開一個沒有床的房間（算是地鋪吧），不能接受，況且不是我預訂的房型，後來又把我帶回到有酒店標牌的這棟樓裏，一樓的房間陰冷潮濕，又換到二樓，雖然外面已經是38度的天氣，到了二樓仍然還是陰冷潮濕，雖然老闆小哥表示可以退房，但此時已是精疲力盡，不想再倒騰了，衹好將就着住下了。 房間和店家描述的有不同，所謂的朝外的窗户其實是朝向天井，房間沒有拖鞋，沒有電視，空調沒電，馬桶不好用，大便沖不下去，最不方便的是卧室床邊裏沒有插座，後來找到一個帶線的插排，在床頭下面接了出來，外間桌子邊也沒有插座，全屋衹有靠近地面的一個插座。 因為沒有前台，不容易看到人，看在老闆小哥上下樓願意幫忙提箱子和多給加了一床被的份上，服務給你四個星，衞生狀況還算好，沒有問題。
