Booked the 1 Bedroom Suite, room is big with separate bedroom and living room. The suite comes with complimentary daily afternoon tea at the 25 floor Lounge, service at the lounge were superb, with staffs able to address the guests by their names. Jamie, were very friendly and she helped me to arrange the courier service to deliver a package, thanks Jamie. This is my 2nd stay at the Langham in the last 3 months. Both experiences were good. The Langham has been my hotel of choice whenever I visit Xiamen.

I had an absolutely amazing three-day stay at Shangri-La Xiamen. As this was a staycation, I was looking for some self-pampering and I came away feeling well rested and refreshed. The things which made this stay so special are: bright and clean room with an excellent view of the sea, comfortable lamps and lighting, which were were soft and warm, the very comfortable bedding, the ample amount of free drinking water (four bottles when I arrived, and more bottles delivered later in the afternoon) the very warm service of everyone, from check in, to room service, to the very polite and attentive ladies in the exective lounge, and the pool facilities on the lower ground floor. In the changing room, there is a hot and powerful jacuzzi and a fully-functioning steam room. The pool itself was quiet and a good length! Towels and showers--all convenient and comfortable. This really is a very warm, welcoming, and high-quality place. It seems that every comfort has been considered--drinking water, lighting, bedding, cleanliness, friendliness, convenience, service. The Horizon lounge on the fourth floor has an amazing breakfast with a mixture of a buffet and a la carte. The food is delicious. Evening Happy Hour also has a varied buffet with a good selecrion of drinks. Absolutely five starts. Thank you for the wonderful mini holiday!!

The picture shows a corner of a newly replaced bath towel. I personally think that bath towels and towels with obvious stains that cannot be removed should no longer be used by guests. There is a tea set in the hotel room, which is really convenient for those of us who like to drink tea. In addition, the hotel has a self-service laundry, two washing machines and one dryer, which is very convenient, but if you encounter one that is in use, you will have to wait for a long time.
