The room is o, no air condition but the weather is cold enough. I think it is not necessary to get a humidifier and oxygen generator. The hot blanket is necessary.

I had to book an extra night for horse riding. But unfortunately when I check out the road closures due to heavy rain. The hotel was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to find a ride back to the city for me. The journey took a bit longer, but the views along the way were breathtaking. I can confidently say that this hotel will ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay from beginning to end. We were truly fortunate to have met you. Thank you.

Floor heater and electric blanket worked really well. It was really warm through out the night. Hot water for shower needed 5mins to heat up.

I booked room for 3 But got only 2 amenities except the beds. Need to ask to get more the towel, water , and amenties. Some structures were broken out. No that well maintained. Shower room was a little bit dirty with some yellow stains. Have to turn the water out (so wasted)to get hot water. At first they didnt open the A/C system but later that night it is turn on.

Response from Property: The rainy season in western Sichuan has ended, and the weather has become relatively stable. Slowly, the colorful forests of western Sichuan will arrive. The good weather will basically last until the rainy season next year. Remember to bring thick clothes and hats. Keeping warm in plateau areas is the most important factor in overcoming altitude sickness. Don't take a shower on the first night if you feel uncomfortable. I hope everyone knows this.

Owner was really helpful. Heating floor worked well. *** there was an oxygen generator machine that saved us from severe AMS *** Food is ok 20 yuan per pax for send you at Shuangqiaogou. Tell Laoban, and he will solve you everything!!

Response from Property: Tips for staying at Zhongshan Inn (this is a bit off-topic, if you are familiar with the Western Sichuan Plateau, you can skip it): 1. The wireless password in the room is 8. In winter, the water pipes are relatively long and the ambient temperature difference is large. It takes about 5-8 minutes to wait for hot water. 2. The entire Siguniang Mountain Town is 3100 meters above sea level. There will be some altitude sickness on the first night. When traveling to the entire Western Sichuan Plateau, you must pay attention to keeping warm, especially the head should not be blown by the cold plateau wind. If the head catches a cold, it is easy to have a headache at night. If you have a slight Head swelling and pain, chest tightness, nausea, and tinnitus are all normal phenomena. Generally, after a good sleep, these symptoms will disappear the next day. If you feel uncomfortable, try not to take a bath at night (bathing speeds up blood circulation, and you may keep your eyes open until dawn) , if you have high reflexes and want to vomit, it will be much more comfortable to vomit. Don’t turn on the floor heating too high (20-25℃ is more suitable). Glucose is available at the front desk of the hotel. You can pick it up if you need it. There are oxygen concentrators in the hotel rooms and in the lobby. There are simple oxygen tanks available for emergency relief. If hyperreflux is serious, it is recommended to navigate to the Siguniang Mountain Emergency Center and breathe pure oxygen. The effect is obvious. Hyperreflux is normal. Don’t worry too much. If you feel uncomfortable, you can contact us at any time. 3. Simple guide to Siguniang Mountain: One day: Mainly recommend Shuangqiaogou, the whole journey takes 5-6 hours Day 2: On the first day, we arrived at Siguniang Mountain in Chengdu and went to Shuangqiaogou in the afternoon (you cannot enter the park after 3 o'clock). On the second day, we went to Changpinggou on foot or on horseback. The whole journey is 11 kilometers per side and is expected to take 8 hours. Haizigou is relatively strong and is not recommended for ordinary tourists. If you arrive at Siguniang Mountain after 3 p.m., you cannot enter the park. You can navigate to Changqing Mountain Village to see the panoramic view of Siguniang Mountain more closely. 4. For the entire western Sichuan tour, there is a map in the lobby downstairs. Zhongshan Inn is located in Changpingzhen, a ******* style village part of Siguniangzhen at about 3200m altitude (good for acclimatization if you want to go further to Danba, Tagong, Kangding). The bus from and to Chengdu Chadianzi station stops in 5min walking distance from the Inn. To Shuangqiao Valley one needs a driver (about 7 km away, 15 min drive). To Changping Valley (6km away, short ride) one has to take the shuttle bus, the bus stop is a 5 min walk away. The trailhead to Haizi Valley is in 5 min walking distance, one can walk over directly. I stayed here in the week before the Spring Festival. The village and the Inn have been extremely quiet, just a few visitors (many stores and Inns were closed due to the holiday). Hiking and trekking opportunities around this place are rich and beautiful, worth a several day visit. The staff of the guesthouse is very, very kind and goes out of the way to help and support. The owner is a young man who can speak and understand English (great for foreigners). Rooms are spacious, warm, and tidy (bathtub, heating blanket, floor heating) at a fair price. For animal lovers: there are a Husky dog and several cats in the house. In the village you can see the integrated life of villagers and their tiny horses (many of them work as pack animals in the valleys), yaks and cows. Expect some travel hassle if you go by bus or car during the winter season with snow and ice on a small curvy street through spectacular mountains. Needs patience, things will take much longer then.

Great service from the staff, always available to answer any question, very creative to offer the most interesting solutions:) location worked really well for us as well, we were happy to find what seemed to be the only western food option right underneath the home stay. Being a family with one very curious and little child we would prefer slightly better attention to hygiene and an availability of washing and drying machine. So if the business goes well (which we wish to the owner) may be that could be a room for improvement! Thanks for a good stay! Cheers

Short walk to Changping valley and short drive to Shangqiao valley. Room is neat, comes with bed and floor heating during winter. I left my bag pack in the inn and the owner was just a phone call away before sending it down to me ASAP in a minute so that I wouldn’t miss my chartered bus back to the city. Can’t appreciate him enough.

The hotel is not too far from bus station. The heater system is good. The hotel have restaurant at its 1st floor, hotpot is signature food here. Hotel staff can support you to travel spot or buy bus ticket. The room is neat and clean.
