Hotels near Qinghai Tumor Hospital in Xining

Pros: 1) Location right beside train station and bus station. 2) Many eateries around the hotel 3) Room is clean and spacious Cons: 1) No aircon. I know it is cool during summer in Xining as well but i think it is a basic requirement for aircon in a hotel. A fan is provided but i think it is not a welcome sight for a hotel with a fan.

A very nice hotel, just next to Xining Station. It is very convenient to check in when traveling. I have to say that the hotel service is very good. Zhuoma and Xiaoma at the front desk gave a bottle of hot mineral water after check-in. It was so considerate, despite the weather. It was very cold, and it stopped being cold all of a sudden. It must be praised! The breakfast coupon was given in the morning and the souvenir was given after the invoice was issued after leaving the hotel. It was a very pleasant stay.

Great hotel situated nearby the Wanda mall and Tangdao walking street. I was impressed with how stunning the hotel is and pre-arrival experience was really remarkable. It is according to what I expected from Sofitel Hotel; however, my experience this time didn't reach my expectation. First, I was asked to pay CNY99 in order to use the swimming pool even if I already said that I was staying there. Second, the air-conditioner was not cool enough. I asked the staff to help me adjust it, but it seemed not work well. I slept with sweating all night. Lastly, I asked concierge to recommend me where I could find the night walking street and street food, but the answer I got was to search the word ”Tangdao” by myself. This is unacceptable. I wouldn't expect concierge to just provide me this simple answer. I can even do that by myself. What was the point from seeking for the recommendation from concierge? I have seen that one of them even got Les Clefs d'Or so that I expected the whole team to provide me something beyond my expectation. Please consider this issue. Thank you very much.

第一次來西寧，奔着挖寶的性質訂的酒店，沒想到真的挖到寶了…整體的服務很熱情，新開的酒店完全沒有異味，設施設備都不錯，關鍵是還有暖氣片加濕器，早餐也是本地的特色，現磨咖啡一定要喝比外面賣的咖啡好喝多了👍👍👍👍

If you don't want to have breakfast at the hotel, there are many small restaurants in Jia Xiaoxiang next to the hotel. We had lunch and breakfast there. Both restaurants tasted good. Parking is also very convenient, you can park directly at the door of the hotel, and there is also a scheduled shuttle bus to the airport, which is particularly convenient for travel. The hotel is not far from the Xining TV Tower, so you can take some night scenes when you have time at night. There is also a free park next to the hotel, called Qilin Bay Park. The scenery is quite unique, a bit of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River.

Ms. Yin at the front desk on the 21st floor was enthusiastic and proactive, and took the initiative to help upgrade the room type. She still maintained good service status late at night. Free midnight snacks are still provided late at night, which is warm. Sister Zhao Yaoxiang from the fifth-floor restaurant learned that I was too late to catch the bus and could not dine on site, so she agreed to pack breakfast and be flexible. What does it mean that the customer is God? Flexibility and humanity are the right way. No matter what five or four stars you have, customer experience is the way to go. Thumbs up. The location of the hotel is very close to the train station, which is convenient. Good value for money at the same price.

I will start off by saying that the room and bathroom were well appointed, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. However, whilst the room was generally clean, when I dropped something that subsequently rolled under a fitted unit, I was pretty disgusted to see the dust and filth beneath it. It clearly had not been cleaned for…well…ever? I appreciate that these areas will not be as clean as the more visible parts of the room, however for a five star hotel, this is unacceptable. I do not expect to find dirty tissues and a thick layer of dust and dirt anywhere in my hotel room. But by far the absolute worst part of my stay was the inability to control the temperature in the room whatsoever. The room was so swelteringly hot that despite the comfortable bed, and everything to go with it, I was almost unable to sleep at all. I do not expect this in a five star hotel(and have never experienced it other than here and at anther Wanda hotel in Hohhot), I pay for luxury; controlling the room temperature is a basic requirement that I can even do in a 50 yuan a night hostel dorm. When I asked the staff at reception the following morning I was told the AC wouldn’t be available until after April 15th because ‘it’s cold outside’. Firstly, I am not sleeping outside, I am sleeping inside, on the 22nd floor, where it is anything but cold. Not to mention it was April, not January, even in Xining it is not that cold. Secondly, as a paying guest, in a five star hotel, it should be up to me to decide if it is hot or cold, not the hotel. For this reason, as lovely as the room, staff and breakfast may have been, I would not stay here again. I checked out and moved to the lower rated Hilton, where I could control the room temperature and actually managed to sleep…generally what the whole point of a hotel is.

Upgraded the room for free at the store, the big one is a bit outrageous! Atour is as good as ever, the bed is very comfortable, the supporting facilities are perfect, the most exaggerated is a large library across multiple floors, there are many books suitable for children to read. There is a business district around, eating is completely OK. Health needs to be improved, the room decoration project is a bit sloppy, many places have not been wiped with seam fillers, and there is still some dust on the ground and long hair left by others. I will definitely choose Atour next time, the bed is too comfortable.

We were impressed by the front desk staff n grateful for Celine the manager. She helped us to get transport to go to Qinghai lake. She was able to speak English and make communication easier for us. We had a wonderful and memorable time in Xining. We hope to come back again.
