Suitable for family travel. There is nothing to turn around. It’s just a matter of staying at the hotel. The garden design is great. Suitable for friends to rest. Stayed for a few days. The hotel is very intimate because we chose Monday. Three rooms were set. As a result, we all upgraded a large room like a parent. The second floor is beautiful! Do not choose a room with its own hot springs. Recommended to go to the big bath. Great outdoor and indoor connection. Old people can also go without wind. Very comfortable. We hope to have dinner together. Specially prepared for a private room. If you have time, I still want to stay here for a few more days!

About 10 years ago, when I stayed at Toyoko Inn in front of Himeji Station, I also made a membership card with a face photograph for 1500 yen. However, I also decided to keep my luggage at the time of the stay, and since then, I decided not to use Toyoko inn. However, I had to stop at Kofu because of my work, and I stayed for 10 years this time. First of all, the check-in was set up from 16 o'clock, and despite the corona ridge, about 10 people were waiting in the lobby until 16 o'clock. On the unit bus, I was surprised at the small toilet seat in the toilet, tired of the shower curtain smelling, and at night I was not sleeping with the loud sound of the wall clock in the room and removed the battery. I instruct people in the company to take other hotels. I will not use it for a while again. APA, Richmond, Alpharwan, etc. are more comfortable. By the way, the south exit of Toyoko-in Kofu Station is used for isolation of corona infected people.

We were staying at hotel Nizi for 2 nights for our trip to Kawaguchiko and nearby area. It's about 15-20 minutes drive to Lake Kawaguchiko which is very convenience for us. The neighborhood and surrounding areas are very beautiful with plum plantations and sakura blossoms. Each room at hotel Nizi has a parking space next to the room which was great. There are few restaurants nearby, 7-eleven and gas station. The price was really cheap compared to other hotel in Kawaguchiko. The room is quite spacious and has everything we needed i.e. microwave, minibar fridge, kettle, bowl and cutlery etc. Our room has nice view of plum tress and mountain view.

It was a hotel that I wanted to stay once since I was a Kofu Fujiya Hotel. The name changed from April 2019. The room in the western room was large and comfortable, and I saw the street and the mountain 々 from the big window. I wanted to stay for a few nights if I was in such a good room. ”The finance of the sweets placed in the room was very delicious. The room has a TV and a home theater remote control, and if you use it wrong, the TV will not be reflected, so it is a matter of attention. It was quite hard to return to reflect. The bath is a large bath, and the hot water in the hot spring is colorless and transparent. The open-air bath is 3 people, but it is the size that it is considered to be a person. There was 2 inner bath, and that point was good. Because of the request from the prefecture for the corona countermeasure, there is no cosmetics on the face in the bathroom, so I think it is better to bring it. I couldn't use a cold water machine. There is a mineral water bottle in the room, so it is better to cool it first. The heat was blurred, ”there is a paper cup in the cold water machine in other hotels and inns (or a cold water pot is provided in the room).” Dinner was a order buffet, and it was a dish that was not necessary to share the same dish with the person to eat with the same dish. I couldn't understand this system well at the beginning, so I thought it would have been nice to tell me the main point of order Viking. The seats and seats were partitioned by acrylic boards, but they looked on the face of the opponent, and there was no problem or discomfort to talk, and the order buffet and the seat were complete corona measures. It is Chinese that can be eaten with peace of mind. Breakfast was cancelled because of the avoidance of three secrets, and I went to the lobby to take out the takeaway that I eat in a Japanese or Western room. It was a little disappointing, even if it was not possible. However, the front desk was wiping the front desk and the back every time the customer checked out, and I was grateful that I was taking a hard corona countermeasure.

If you are looking for a zen accommodation that is far and away from the hustle and bustle, one that exudes tranquility, has the perfect Mt Fuji view with no photobomb (no one to vie with you for the best view / photo spot) and is new, modern and basically impeccable a room, this is the right hotel for you. I have almost nothing but praises for this accommodation except perhaps its location. As it is allll the way up the hilly area and right on the opposite side of Lake Kawaguchiko’s main bustling area, you can really only rely on 1) their shuttle service which has pretty limited timings (last shuttle at 4.30pm) cos after all it’s mostly meant for shuttling guests on arrival only 2) taxi which is expensive ~ 10mins ride up for 3,000 yen 3) driving your own vehicle. Apart from its distant proximity to the station and all, it really is the best kind of accommodation where it’s almost like an attraction itself, the kind where you intentionally spend a night at the hotel just to get the full experience. Have a look at the photos and let the photos do the talking (sorry they are kinda blurry as I took screenshots off the room video instead). Service is excellent, and staff is really nice and helpful too albeit limited English-speaking staff. They have a Mandarin-speaking staff onsite which is really helpful. My friend and I opted for breakfast as well which is pretty good, but note that you will have to inform the receptionist on your preferred time slot (nothing like the buffet style / seating) at the end of the day (they would likely approach you to ask abt it though so no worries even if you had forgotten abt it). Note that the private hot spring bath in the room is simply natural hot spring water and not onsen; silly me thought it was onsen 🥲 anyhow, the bathtub was really clean too so plus points to the housekeeping. All in all, a really lovely, enjoyable and most definitely unforgettable stay at Kumonoue Fuji! Would I choose to stay here again on my next trip to Mt Fuji? Absolutely, in a heartbeat!

Fabulous “destination” hotel…. The food was incredible (either French or Japanese degustation style menu). You could not get a better viewpoint for Mt Fuji. Advice: traditional public onsen so no tattoos but they have private baths too so happy days; a car would be helpful as the taxi service is fairly sp****; if you don’t have a car then book Taka from Native Fuji Tours (he was 10/10)… and pay the extra for a higher floor… we had one with a bath on the balcony… stunning!

Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi from all rooms and open-air baths, and is blessed with the beauty of the four seasons, including fresh greenery, autumn leaves, and snow-capped Mt. Fuji. It is a unique accommodation that combines Japanese aesthetics with Western elements. It is a 10-minute drive to Kawaguchiko Station, a 15-minute drive to Highland Resort Hotel, and a 2-hour drive from the Tokyo metropolitan area.

I stayed at the Kogetsu for 2 nights in May and it was an unforgettable experience. Every detail was beautiful and thoughtful. I booked rather late and was not able to book the same room, so the first night I stayed in a Standard Western Style twin w open-air bath; and the second night in a Standard Japanese Modern w open-air bath (Triple). Both were on the 3rd (of 5) floors and both had stunning views of Mt Fuji. Both incorporated both Japanese and Western style. The first room had wood floors throughout and half-shoji screen doors so you could separate the bedroom and dining areas. It also had a small walk-in closet. The outdoor onsen was quite large (could easily fit 4 adults) and the patio was wider than in the Triple room. I posted pics of the Standard Western Style Twin and will post the pics of the Triple separately. In contrast the Triple room was larger and there was a gorgeous daybed (which becomes the 3rd bed) with windows on either side overlooking Mt Fuji. The onsen was a bit smaller (could easily fit 2 adults). The bedroom was carpeted, dining area had tatami-style mats, and hallway had wood floors. There was a wardrobe rather than walk-in closet in this room. Both rooms had a wet area for washing up before the onsen, a separate powder room, and separate toilet room. Honestly, you can’t go wrong - both rooms were gorgeous. I felt lucky to be here. One thing to note is that there is a boat launch beside the ryokan, so my open-air onsen on 3rd floor was not super private (there’s a screen to pull down if you want privacy, but it obscures the view). The 4th/5th floors would have more feeling of privacy. The kaiseki meals were beautifully displayed and delicious. The 2 nights’ menus were different but followed a similar (but not identical) format: 1) Aperitif, 2) Seasonal appetizers, 3) Soup, 4) Sashimi, 5) Main course (hot), 6) Steamed fish, 7) Grilled fish, 8) Palette cleanser, 9) simmered dish, 10) rice dish, and 11) dessert. My nakai, Fumiko-san, was lovely - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was also included - it was half- buffet, with an elegant bento box with appetizers and tamago. It also included delicious tempura, made to order and delivered to your table. The hotel has a happy hour from 2:30-6:30 where a limited selection of tea, coffee, nonalcoholic drinks, beer and wine are free. You can enjoy them on the gorgeous terrace overlooking Mt Fuji with your feet soaking in the footpath (just not in your room). Lastly there are shuttles every morning to Kawaguchiko Station or any of the tourist sights on the way, and the hotel will send a shuttle to pick you up when you are ready to come back. The location of this ryokan could not be better - close to some great museums and on the North shore of the lake, which has the best views (and away from the touristy South shore).

KKENICHIAlthough the building is very old, when you go inside, every corner is clean and the quality of service is eye-catching. In a calm atmosphere, you can feel the blessings of nature. Because it is on a high platform, Mount Fuji can be seen beautifully in the distance. The check-in procedures were also very detailed, and the facilities, hot springs, eating styles, etc. were all explained in an easy-to-understand manner. A total of three meals were eaten, and each meal was very satisfied. The portion of afternoon tea is moderate, giving people a light meal feeling, and supper is a whole western meal. I also ate western food for breakfast. Because there are waiters at each table, there is no inconvenience. The hot spring is also full of fun, there is no one inside, and you can spend extravagant time. It is recommended for those who like hot springs to try it once. You can also go to and from the hot spring on the same day with lunch!

TtakagiudaiThis hotel is not related to comparison with other hotels and good service. In other words, there is no accommodation nearby. So it is ”stay”. However, if you live in a hotel on a business trip for more than 100 days a year, you will be sensitive to goodness. When you arrive late from the check-in schedule, you will be a unfriendly front desk uncle. The meal was finished at a Japanese restaurant in the building, but the cospa is below the family. Checked for a stay, but the processing was slow, and the daradala and ... The room is also bad, and the East ◯ in level is narrow. The shower is also severe, so when you choose a large bath, that is, it is a public bath. In the morning, you can't expect breakfast, and you can warm the bags of the bags and slug out. The front desk woman at check-out did not even look at her, and I couldn't hear what she was saying in a small voice. The clerk of karaoke is more familiar with hostability. It is a hotel for ”people who have no other place to stay” in general, and it is a facility that cannot stay at the cost of the company, regardless of the cost of the company. If you stay at this hotel, you can relax in the inn of Ishiwa.
