Family-friendly Hotels in Yan＇an

Enjoyed a very pleasant 4 day trip to visit the historical and revolutionary sites of Yan’an and the trip was made much better thanks to a very comfortable and convenient stay at the Wanda Realm. For anybody who plans to visit the city I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is located just to the south of the old city of Yan’an in the newly built Wanda City area. It is a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the old center (depending on traffic) and it’s relatively easy to call a taxi with a ride hailing app like Didi. It’s also within walking distance of the Red Street 红街 tourism area that has a theatre, cinema, activities, coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel is new and all of the main public areas are clean and well maintained - such as the lobby, hotel rooms, restaurant and gym/pool. The gym contains my favorite Life Fitness gym equipment (a quality brand) and the multi-lane, 25m meter pool is a dream for anyone who likes to swim. It even offers a good view. The hotel breakfast is very good value for money and offers a high quality selection of Western-style food (bread, eggs, bacon, sausages and cereals) as well as very tasty local Chinese food - especially local Yan’an/Shanxi noodles and dumplings. For any foreigners like me, you’ll get a good sense of local taste with good ingredients. The room was very clean and spacious with nice balcony and great view of the lake and Red Street. Service staff was excellent and many staff speak good English. We even received a nice hand written message and welcome fruits. Especially if you travel with children, this is where you should stay in Yan’an. Thank you for making my holiday more enjoyable.

The front desk service is warm and thoughtful. Check-in gave us a special paper-cut. There are hot towels and hot drinks as soon as you enter the door, and the room is clean and tidy. The environment is really nice. Conveniently located in a central location. The Chinese and Western breakfast buffet is very satisfactory overall. I will come here next time I stay here, it is worth recommending. Very satisfied with this stay experience 😄😄

The Wanda Jinhua Hotel in Yan'an has an excellent location. It is opposite Wanda Red Street and Yanhu Lake. The lights on the opposite side can be seen in the room. The night view is particularly beautiful. The hotel's assistant, Zhao Yangxin, Mia, has a very good service, especially warm and attentive. The transportation is very punctual, and you know where the guests want to go. Thank you so much for giving a gift to each person when you check out, because your service loves this red city!

The service is very good, there are welcome fruits, there is a supper, mineral water and fruit snacks are also given out of the store, the apples inside are delicious, and printing services are also provided. There is a special computer and printer for guests in the lobby, which is very considerate. I did my summer homework and I am very satisfied! The parking lot is at the back of the hotel, it's big, it looks like a cave, it's cool inside! But... what I want is a well-lit room. I arranged a room with small mini windows. It was very dark during the day. I thought that every room was the same, but the next day I passed by the door of other rooms and saw others. The room has a super large half-floor window, and the sunlight floods the whole room, which is so envious!

Although it is a little far away from downtown Yan'an, it is a hotel with a particularly good experience. First of all, children like the cave-style rooms very much. Secondly, the children’s playground has almost everything they want to play on weekdays, which greatly meets their play needs. To my surprise, I woke up the next morning and found that there is a small hill behind the hotel. You can also climb a small hill for a walk after breakfast. The most touching thing is that the service staff in the VIP building, Sister Wu Caixia, is very good at service. Even though she is a lady, she is busy pulling boxes, delivering slippers and running errands, but she does not fail to provide five-star services👍 At the end, before checking out, the children were given handmade paper-cuts, which was really warm🤩. As soon as the car left the parking lot, they ran over and gave them a few bottles of water, saying that it was too hot to quench their thirst on the way🌹🤤 To be honest, after staying in hotels for so many years, the service in many five-star hotels is not as good as hers👍. I feel that the people in northern Shaanxi are so welcoming😁 Recommend it to all my classmates and friends, and also recommend that my colleagues in Yan'an choose this hotel for team building in the future. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, the facilities are really complete and the room has everything. The breakfast variety is also very complete, and the dining environment is very good. The hotel has plenty of parking spaces, Tesla's super charging station, and the surrounding greenery is also very good and very quiet. The front desk is also very warm and takes the initiative to say hello to the guests.

A very good hotel living here in the Jinyan’an Cultural Industry Park feels like a vacation and leisure. When you go out, you can watch performances or stroll around the small ancient town. The entire hotel is comfortable and clean. The structure is very large. I like this kind of stone and wood. The architectural style room is also very big, and I sleep very comfortably. I also presented a lot of snacks and fruits when I was hungry. I ordered at the hotel and it was delicious. Especially the oily noodles and the breakfast were not enough for one person. You can add a good taste. Because it is No.6, basically no one feels that the hotel has been contracted by our family. Hahaha is that our room is half-fronted with an open-air K singing. If there are tourists, children singing during the day will be noisy. Others are basically perfect. Before leaving, I also gave a small comb and the proprietress gave it back Our family has a very good photo service. Although staying in Jinyan'an is far from the city, I think it is more spacious and more casual. A hotel worth booking

The breakfast was excellent, fresh and rich. It is the hotel with the richest breakfast I have ever had during my trip to Xi'an. Whether it's the front desk in the lobby or the luggage delivery service or cleaning, everyone is very warm and polite, and the experience is great. The photos are taken at breakfast, but there are actually many delicious ones. The disadvantage is that the bathroom and bedroom in the room are frosted glass. I take a bath late, and the bathroom lighting will disturb the family who go to bed early. It would be better if you add a blackout curtain.

A very special experience; a large parking lot, parking has a concierge brother to carry luggage, after registration, a housekeeper recommended to the free coffee tea bar, fruit cake coffee drinks have more than a dozen categories are very rich. Because the child lives in the bird's nest room, the child is excited and likes to play very crazy, the decoration of the log color, the room has a very special big bird cage bed, the children like ”crazy”, the memory cotton mattress is warm and comfortable, it should be a big brand, and the wake-up service is provided in the morning at 6 o'clock to remind me to get up on time. The breakfast is very rich, especially the intangible cultural heritage ”mutton soup noodles” northern Shaanxi characteristics, the sister of the noodles kindly helped me to serve the noodles and mix the juice, and also briefly talked about the army that the noodles originated from ancient times, and the long-handled knife of the noodles was the evolution of the horse knife used for combat. In short, the breakfast process is delicious and warm, and it is excellent value for money for this price. After the visit, I returned to the hotel the next night. There were two kinds of porridge for passengers free of charge in the lobby. The preserved egg stewed meat porridge (with preserved egg lean meat porridge and mung bean soup) was very touched.
