Hotels in Guangling District, Yangzhou

Facilities: The facilities are well-equipped. We booked a twin room and came to Yangzhou with our child. The front desk even proactively told us we could push the beds together. Cleanliness: Excellent cleanliness, one of the best for a hotel in this price range. There's also a laundry room where you can wash and dry clothes, which is super important given the weather in Yangzhou. Environment: Good sound insulation, and the double curtains offer both privacy and light. There's also a small table in the room. Picture 2 shows us eating Yangzhou duck on the hotel's small table. We also ordered takeout, and they delivered it directly to our room, which we really appreciate 💕. The background of picture 3 is the bathroom. Coming out of the bathroom, there's a clothes hanging closet ➡️ mirror ➡️ clothes folding closet. Service: Full marks for service. Although we didn't book a Hanfu photoshoot or have ice cream, we had a very pleasant stay 😋. Additional notes: The location here is excellent. There are dim sum restaurants right outside, and it's very close to Caiyi Lane and Dongguan Street. Another note: Don't eat at those places in Caiyi Lane that ask if you want to eat; they're terrible. We tried two places, and they were so bad 🤧. In the end, we found a pretty good 138-yuan four-person meal deal on Douyin. Although it was a high-volume place, it tasted much better than those hawkers. Picture 4 is the meal.

First off, the service was excellent. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me truly feel at home. The room had no strange odors, and I even got a free upgrade. The bedding was clean. I left some belongings behind, and they even mailed them back to me free of charge – I'm so grateful! The hotel's location is superb, right next to the old ferry crossing and Dongguan Street, with plenty of dining options. There are shared electric scooters right outside the hotel, which are much more convenient for getting to attractions than taking a taxi. There are parking spots and plenty of scooters near every attraction. It's just a few minutes to about 10 minutes by scooter to places like Heyuan, Geyuan, the Han Tombs in Tianzi, Daming Temple, and Slender West Lake.

This hotel was fantastic! My husband even praised my choice, saying we slept so comfortably and soundly, even better than at home, thanks to how quiet it was at night. The landlady was incredibly warm and friendly, patiently helping us with our itinerary, making reservations, and recommending delicious local food – she was just so kind. The hotel is located in the heart of Yangzhou's old town city center, making it super convenient to get everywhere. We could walk to He Garden, Ge Garden, Dongguan Street, and Pishi Street. It was incredibly convenient! No wonder Doubao highly recommended it; it's genuinely excellent value for money. Highly recommend!

Let's start with the downsides: Since the family room can accommodate three adults, there should be three sets of towels, bath towels, tooth mugs, drinking glasses, and coffee cups, not just two. Even children or teenagers need their own bath towel and tooth mug. Also, the curtain button was sometimes a bit unresponsive. Now for the positives: 1. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. You can walk to the South Gate of Slender West Lake, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. 2. The breakfast was good; while not exceptionally lavish, it had everything you'd expect. The coffee came from a machine and tasted great. 3. The terraces on four of the floors are a major highlight! Breakfast is on the 11th floor (top floor), and on a nice day, you can dine on the terrace, enjoying the lush forest view and a distant glimpse of the Qiling Pagoda while being shielded from the sun – a fantastic experience. You can also enjoy the night view in the evening. 4. The hairdryer is a Dyson, and in the lobby downstairs, there's a coffee machine, tea, hot water, and bottled water available.

This hotel is actually part of the Yingbinguan group. The upgraded amenities and in-room supplies are the same as those at Yingbinguan, and the price hike during the holiday wasn't too outrageous. The location is also excellent. I'd recommend it to anyone on a tighter budget. Overall, I was very satisfied. The only downside is that the hallway soundproofing isn't great, but that seems to be a common issue with newer hotels.

The hotel facilities are new. There's a motion-sensor light under the bed, which is handy for nighttime bathroom trips. Breakfast is simple, with only Chinese options, including freshly cooked noodles and wontons. The front desk offers free coffee, chrysanthemum tea, candies, and bottled water. The location is excellent, with many bus routes nearby, making it convenient to get to tourist attractions and the train station. Dining is easy too; you can walk to the Nanhexia Ancient Street area, where there are many local restaurants. The service was great, especially from a tall girl in a white shirt who was very enthusiastic and proactive. Next time I'm in Yangzhou, I'll definitely stay here again. It's comfortable and offers amazing value for money.

Amidst the sweltering summer heat of Yangzhou, Rebuilding Ice Bowl Hotel, nestled beside Dongguan Street, offers a hidden oasis of cool tranquility within the bustling city. Originally a Qing Dynasty scholar-official's residence, its nine interconnected courtyards, with their green tiles and high walls, effectively block out the heat. Stepping inside, one is immediately enveloped in a refreshing coolness. Ancient pines lean against floor-to-ceiling windows, while lotus-scented breezes ripple across the pond, and a gentle mist drifts around pavilions, dispelling the summer's intensity. In the afternoon, sitting quietly in the tea room, brewing a pot of Green Willow Spring tea, the cicadas' chirping fades behind the brick courtyard walls, leaving only the fragrant scent of plants in the air. The Huaiyang dim sum at Xi Banquet is refreshing and delightful. Sitting by the window, one can watch the tree shadows gently sway on the white walls. There's no need to venture to the distant suburbs; here, in a century-old mansion, you can steal half a day of serene living. As the evening breeze drifts through the long, narrow alleyways, carrying away the oppressive heat, you begin to understand Yangzhou's unique summer elegance and leisurely pace within the Ice Bowl Hotel.

This hotel really fits my style! My friend always prefers newer hotels, and since we frequently travel to Yangzhou for business, we've stayed in pretty much all the mid-to-high-end hotels there. This one is newly opened and features a lot of bamboo in its decor, which feels eco-friendly and the color palette is very soothing. The front desk mentioned it's a chain brand and that the design team also worked on Bulgari hotels – no wonder every shot I took looked amazing! I immediately fell in love with the floral qipao in the lobby upon arrival, but it was too late to snap some photos because we had to check in. There was a pleasant surprise though: we got upgraded to a suite! The bay window even had a foot-soaking tub, and the water dispenser offered unlimited smart supply. As someone who works out regularly, I can confidently say the gym equipment here is the most impressive among all hotels in Yangzhou. Even though it's a new hotel, the front desk attendant didn't actively ask for a good review, which I appreciated. Looking at the map, it's conveniently located to everything. I'll definitely stay here again for future business trips or with my family. I feel like I could spend a long time just relaxing here – tea, chilling out, billiards, gym, bathing, foot soaks, coffee, cards, and even wine in the lobby! Breakfast is semi-buffet style with authentic Huaiyang flavors. Plus, there's free parking right next door. We used to pay 45 yuan per day for parking at other hotels during peak season, so thinking about it, 400 yuan for this place is an absolute steal! I rarely write such detailed reviews, but hope this helps.

The staff attitude was amazing and their attentiveness was one of the stand out features of this hotel for me. They were so warm, friendly and helpful and I couldn't have asked for more. The room I had was perfect for my stay. A large comfortable bed, working air-conditioning, decent shower and sizable room made my break very comfortable. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, with the efficiency of the cleaning team evident from the front door to the rooms! The location is very convenient: sandwiched between two large shopping areas, a stones throw from the canal, various restaurants nearby and about a fifteen minutes walk from the start of Dongguan street (which is fantastic by the way), I was never very far from the action of the city! In fact, you can walk to all the major Yangzhou attractions from the hotel or hire an e-bike if you have a Chinese telephone number. The breakfast is a buffet served in the opposite Ramada Hotel, a twenty second walk away from the front desk! It is a decent spread, not the best but by far not the worst. The inclusion of breakfast in the price of the hotel made the value for money even better. This is a very good, cost-effective hotel with excellent staff, close to everything you would want to do in Yangzhou. I'd recommend this Hidden hotel and if highly recommend the city too. Fantastic experience for budget prices.

I've stayed at many hotels due to frequent business trips, but this hotel is definitely the best. Among the reception staff, Tian Tiantu and Changchang were particularly kind. I have an appointment in a place where it's burdensome to walk because I have an appointment. I asked for a taxi, but they personally transported me to the hotel vehicle so I could travel to the location for free. There are also some where you can have a simple meal late in the evening, and in my experience, breakfast is more diverse than hotels of similar size. It wasn't the kindness of one staff member, but all the employees were good. Even when I checked out and left the hotel, they picked me up to the train station. They also packed a gift containing Yangzhou specialties. Next time I go on a business trip to the same area, I will definitely use this hotel. I would like to thank all the hotel staff who helped me during my stay.
