Hi Way Motor Inn

This motel was a stop over on our way to Port Macquarie. Was very, very clean. 2 bedroom little unit to suit our family of 5. Close to everything. Very friendly service. Tea Coffee making facilities, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and lovely hot electric blankets for all. Very happy.

We rang to make a booking and were offered a room for $125 or $115 Cash. When we arrived he denied offering a room for that price and insisted that the price was $125 because the room had new carpet and a Queen size bed! That’s about all it had! The bathroom was 1970’s and freezing cold. We were kept awake all night because of a constant noise coming from either the fridge or aircon’ which wasn’t turned on! Avoid !

Only stayed there overnight while travelling ; the room was clean, quiet and comfortable although a little small , but it was fine for one night. The woman attending was nice and helpful.. Wi -fi was good also.. Would stay again..

We stayed overnight and can't complain...service is good..rooms are good...no complaint at all..I'll be back when I'm in the area again...the lady in the office was very professional...clean rooms...quiet....can't fault the place

My 80 plus parents broke down near Yass on Boxing Day and found themselves dropped in Yass with no car and no working phone. A kind man from NRMA contacted me and let me know where they were. I called the nearest motel and found our Good Samaritan, Joanna. Feeling very helpless miles away and deeply concerned about my parents, Jo didn’t hesitate to help me. She reserved the last motel room (no more available in Yass) got in her car and went in search of my parents. They had wandered up the street looking for some dinner. She located them snd brought them back to her motel. She kept in contact with me reassuring me they were now safe for the night. In the morning she also looked after them until my brother could pick them up. The kindness my parents received on Boxing Day from strangers - Dave from NRMA, Edith from Bowning post office and Jo from Hi-way Motor Inn remind us that people are inherently good and the world is mostly kind. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We stayed here while transiting between Sydney and Albury. For a budget Motel used as a transit stop this is a pretty good little place. The rooms are clean and well maintained and have the standard ammenities included. There is a swimming pool and small grassed area too.
