The nearest convenience store is less than 1 km away. That is the only negative point. I stayed in May during the China-United Nations holiday, so it was a little expensive, but normally this luxury hotel is around 7,000 yen, which is a bargain. Second, the cups in the room hadn't been cleaned, with obvious stains from the previous guest's coffee or tea still dried on the sides (we usually bring our own cups, but we inevitably used them, which was quite disconcerting). I thought they'd be checked and cleaned the next day, but they still weren't. After our two-day stay, the room wasn't even cleaned or replaced after cleaning on the second day. Luckily, we brought our own, otherwise it would have been embarrassing to find out there was no paper when we went to the bathroom. 😅 Since the hotel also caters to restaurants, leaving the windows open after check-in is not recommended. There's a restaurant next door, which is loud with music during the day and smells of cooking smoke. My personal recommendation is that if you're traveling by car to Yixing, choose a hotel close to the city center. Most scenic spots are in the suburbs, and you'll need to take a taxi or drive anyway. There's no need to choose a suburban location for a one-time visit. Eating out is also inconvenient, and you'll usually have to drive over 20 minutes to the city center. The city center is more convenient for those who travel back and forth.

I liked the TV; the picture quality and channels were plentiful, and most importantly, it was easy to use—no need to carry around a bunch of remotes. I'm not sure about the soundproofing. I slept exceptionally well the first night, but the second night it felt like all the nearby rooms were blasting loud music, most likely due to some inconsiderate guests. The breakfast wasn't particularly lavish, but the taste was decent, and it had some local flavor. Overall, it was pretty good.
