I was very happy with interlaken youth hostel and decided to book zermatt youth hostel. Free Good Breakfast, although a toaster would have been nice but they have good coffee machine and good collections of tea bags. Clean property and good view of Matterhorn from dining area! The property did not mention that the bus do not go anymore to 'luchre' stoppage. The property is quite high up in the mountain. The bus left me a place way below to the stoppage. so it was very hard to take luggage up to the property. Also, the distance between Luchre bus stop and the property is also bit long. considering the steepness. Second thing, the property does not have lift! It was really really hard to go up to 3rd floor with luggage. For me, a kind romanian staff helped me to take the suitcase to the 3rd floor. I also find the room (most probably 138 or 134) that I had been given at the very last corner of the corridor, which is fine. but opposite to that room, there is another property whose bedroom or lounge room facing my room, The room does not have curtain. it was very uncomfortable. Interlaken youth hostel has the curtain. not all the room needs curtain, but some room facing other properties, I strongly recommend this small addition. when I mentioned that to the lady, she said, go to a hotel, this is hostel. I replied, Interlaken has curtain. she did not reply. while leaving, the lady staff was very rude and said no one can help you to get the suitcase down. One gentleman was kind and helped me. This property is good. unfortunately, it is not possible perhaps to add lift or change location. but they can add curtain for sure.

What a comfy stay! Spacious room! Even gotten 2 glasses of wine for choosing not to clean up the room. Breakfast is normal. Hotel provides free tea breaks as well! Just a short walk from main station. Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel has some traces of history. It is a traditional mountain cabin hotel, very authentic. The location is a bit far from Zermatt train station, but very close to the cable car station, making it very convenient to go to Glacier Paradise. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Although the facilities are relatively old, they have everything you need. It's a very cozy hotel. Thanks to the staff for upgrading our room to a double terrace room! One of the terraces faces the Matterhorn! Another terrace offers views of the river. Sitting on the terrace in the evening, having a simple dinner, enjoying the mountain view and the sound of running water, it is very relaxing. and! When you wake up in the morning, you can see the golden sunrise over the Matterhorn! The breakfast here is also delicious! Love their croissants the most. Very satisfied with this stay ~

They have a free pickup service from Zermatt main station! Nestled in between the Matterhorn gondola & the Zermatt shopping street, this makes for a good quiet environment to enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. Our room balcony had a peek of the Matterhorn too! Breakfast was served with a decent selection! Great place!

Hotel Adonis was a dream come true! Our party of five enjoyed the spacious rooms with private baths, each with its own balcony. There is a desk, tv, and very, very warm down comforters on twin beds that are put together. Oddly enough, like the hotel we stayed in Zurich, Adonis did not have wash cloths...so bring your own. Maybe people use poufs in Switzerland? I don't know, but I had to find one in town. Isabelle was a kind and gracious manager, as well as Rita, who worked in the evening. The first floor has a cozy bar and sitting area we frequented each night and played cards. The breakfast room is exceptional, so select the option to include it in your stay. The chef has an array of sausage, eggs, cheeses, cereals, fruits, breads, juices, coffee and cocoa. It is certainly worth the extra charge, as we didn't need to eat again until dinner. There is also a dry sauna downstairs, and for a little fee, you can steam yourself after a long day in the snow. If we ever go back to Zermatt, we will stay at the Adonis!

This is an ”average” hotel per Zermatt standards. This is not a pejorative statement. Just realistic considering the price of hotels in Zermatt. The location is perfect. Overall we had an excellent stay. Very friendly welcome, nice large room with a clean bathroom a bit small. However, we were supposed to have a mountain view on our reservation and we did not. Breakfast was a buffet style which offer could be improved. We had one dinner at the restaurant and it was good. The waitress Christina was very friendly. Beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for visitors who want to be well treated and not spend a fortune in 4 stars hotels.

We stayed to Nights.The room we had was spacius (#212),nice bathroom with a bathtube/shower.Soap was provided aswell as towels,safe,tv. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet (7-10) had everything we needed,we liked that it had a coffeemachine fior self service.bread was good,croissants were sad(dry,no taste). Nice choice of fresh fruits,cheese,müsli,jam,ham etc. The price was totally ok. The beds were comfy,we pre- ordered second pillows,that was a good thing to do. Even though the hotel is close to the center,it was quiet and we hadgood nights of sleep. In the room there were some small details that can be re-done,for example a small drilling hole on the wall of the shower or some stains on the wardrobe.but nothing serious.

This store is highly recommended! Very warm, with an independent bathroom, the focus is clean, the location is good and there is a small balcony, the heating is enough, the room is a bathroom, every day to disturb the room! The store manager is super good, and I will shake hands with us to say some friendly greetings! Really recommend!

Hotel Antika was exactly what we were looking for. Right in the middle of all the action in Zermatt, our room was clean and cozy and provided great views of the city from the balcony. We were lucky enough to get a top floor room, and while we had to carry our luggage up one flight because the elevator stops one floor before, we had a skylight in our room that gave us great views of the night sky. The free breakfast in the morning wasn't much to write home about, but it also was included in the cost of the room which was great to have that option. We were there on a hiking trip in the summer, so to be able to fuel up on-site and then get out on the trails was fantastic. Check in and check out was a breeze. And best of all, it was super affordable comparative to other Zermatt hotels. We'd definitely stay here again on a return trip

Great hotel Don’t expect luxury but given the price point you know this already The rooms are small but functional with everything you need for your stay including a great coffee machine that’s topped up daily. Breakfast is well beyond what I was expecting and had cereals, meats, yoghurts, breads, cheeses, sausages, eggs and probably much more! Plus more really good coffee! Located 5 minutes walk to Bayard ski rental, and an additional 1 minute to the Gornergrat railway taking you up onto the slopes From the hotel, you can be on the train in under 10 minutes. Staff are really helpful and allowed us to keep our bags there on the last day even though we’d checked out. There’s a quick lift to all floors. I would highly recommend the hotel if your plans are to ski all day, go out on an evening and use it as a place to sleep. Would certainly return
