Hotels Near Bayberry Garden, Fengshan Temple in Zhangzhou

The second time I came to live in Yuyuan, the experience was not as good as last time. ① The room is obviously downgraded. The quality of the slippers used to be very good. Now a pair of thin cotton has been dragged. Also, the free snacks in the minibar are missing. It is not necessary. I think the gap will be opened a bit later. Is it changed management? ② The temperature is 16℃, there is no heating supply, it is a bit cold. ③ Breakfast quality, personally feel that summer is more abundant, maybe because a large number of seafood is on the market, breakfast and shrimp 🦐, this should be praised, eating, no loss to the guests. In addition, it is also necessary to affirm that the room type was upgraded when I checked in. Although the room decoration is old, the service is still decent.

I have stayed in few Crowne Plaza hotels before and I noticed there are always mega construction projects beside the hotel. Pray that guest won’t be impacted by the loud construction noise in the morning. This hotel is well furnished but it is getting OLD and the nearest mall or small restaurants eateries are FAR away. . Great front desk staff and toiletries.

There are many types of breakfast buffet. Wanda is nearby, just a few steps away, and it is also very convenient to take a taxi!

I have stayed at quite a few Wanda hotels in the past and always had a pleasant experience but the past two days were anything but pleasant. I had a two night stay in Zhangzhou Wanda Realm from the 22nd of January to the 24th of January. I have listed my grievances below. 1. Air-conditioning does not work. My room was a constant temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and even after turning on the air conditioning did the temperature not go down. I had to ask the hotel to open a window to decrease the temperature and thus let polluted air into the room. 2. I booked an executive room knowing that I would receive some benefits. Not only was the executive lounge closed but as stated in the notice, they requested we use the hotel lobby bar which was also closed. I paid 850RMB per night for this room. If I am not going to have the benefits of an executive room at least refund me. 3. Swimming pool times have drastically decreased to limited times. I know that this is Chinese New year but isn't this the time when the hotel would receive most of its guests and thus have all the amenities ready and working to make a guest stay very pleasant. 4. Breakfast buffet was below standard of a 4 star hotel. Not only was the selection of foods extremely basic but the food was severely under stock. One would think that a four star hotel would be able to plan for a busy time like Chinese New year but no, there was limited food on basic items like eggs and bacon. Staff were not prepared for such large amounts of people. 5. It seems like this hotel is closing down as many water features and other amenities are either out of order or not working properly. It is an embarrassment to call this hotel a luxury hotel. It has the facade of a luxury hotel but cannot deliver on basic amenities. Please see my photos for evidence of my unpleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and tried to help where they can but it would be better to close down this hotel than call it a luxury 4 star hotel.

The hotel was great, we had a very nice stay there. The location and facilities were perfect. The frontline staff (Eddie) was really helpful, he gave us an upgrade to a family room with bigger beds, so we could have a more comfortable stay in this city. The other staff were also very nice. Tim 高佳圳 helped us to book cars when we checked out and move to Xiamen, also helped us to take care of our belongings. And Ms Zhou 周珍珍 was very nice, she helped us with our hotel reservation in Xiamen. Overall, a really pleasant stay and memories in Zhangzhou, thanks to this hotel!

The hotel is in the ancient town, with convenient transportation nearby and all kinds of snacks within 200 meters of the hotel. The hotel front desk girl is very enthusiastic. Because the hotel is in the ancient town, the car is parked in a parking lot outside each other. Navigate to the parking lot and the hotel staff will pick it up. The parking spot is outsourced, with a 24-hour cap of 15 yuan, and the car cannot be driven into the ancient town. The room is very clean, the furniture is smart, and it is also very warm. There is a bar-style store near the hotel, so you can still hear the noise outside downstairs after 12 o'clock in the evening. Zhangzhou's lifestyle is very slow and comfortable~

American traveler. Overall great experience. Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities clean and new. Love that there's a shared washer and dryer with free detergent (I did a lot of laundry while here). Free breakfast is great (if you like Chinese breakfast). Wi-Fi worked great (with VPN). Conveniently located for getting everywhere in Zhangzhou. Cons: Minor stuff. No elevator, so if you're on the second floor be prepared to haul your luggage (although they'll try to do it for you). No AC in upstairs common areas. Not much within walking distance in the way of restaurants, but you can get to tons of restaurants within 5 min by taxi or DiDi.

Perfect location to combine business trip and sightseeing. Free perfect welcome tea in the room, dried lychee for a snack was a nice little surprise... And huge selection of food for a breakfast! Very kind personnel who helped with connection to wifi to me via its own phone number (i don't have local Chinese number as well as Wechat account). Thank you my friend, it was really helpful for my business trip! Strictly recommend to foreigners who dont speak Chinese but speak English even a little.

A very cost-effective hotel choice in Zhangzhou. The hotel is relatively large, with a garden and a restaurant. The atmosphere is good when entering from the main door. The south-facing room is also good for the night view. The most basic Lingbo Tower was chosen, and the experience was still good. The service attitude from the front desk to each floor was very good, and there were also thoughtful travel recommendations and introduction albums of Zhangzhou in the room. The breakfast buffet was good overall. Although the variety of dishes was not so rich, it was worth the price. The facilities were complete, and the only downside was that the central air-conditioning was too cold, and the temperature adjustment was not obvious, so the elderly might not be very comfortable. It is recommended that toiletries be packed in bottles of different colors, which is convenient for guests and avoids negligence. There were two bottles of shower gel in the room, but no shampoo, which was negligence. The overall flaws did not cover the merits.

The room is clean and tidy, the toilet is separated into wet and dry areas, and it is quite large. I am very satisfied with all aspects, especially the air conditioning in the corridors. The restaurant also has a wide variety of dishes. It is very worry-free to stay with children and the elderly. I don't know where some of the bad reviews I saw before came from.
