Hotels With Wi-Fi in Canton of the Grisons, Switzerland

Last week, after 2016 and 2017, we were again for a week to ski in St. Moritz. Basis for skiing on the very well prepared paths in Corviglia and Corvatsch was again the Youth Hostel. The friendliness and helpfulness of all staff from the reception through the kitchen to the service was remarkable. The great atmosphere is certainly also a result of good guidance from the management of the hostel. Thank you, we're happy to come back! Maren and Andreas

Stayed here for one night in between trips on the Bernina Express and the Glacier Express. Whilst surrounded by spectacular mountains, the hotel is situated in a soulless commercial area about 2 minutes west of central Chur by train. There is half hourly train service to / from the centre of Chur (which I found similarly lacking in charm). Finding the entrance to the hotel on arrival at Chur West was not that easy, and improved signage from the station would be helpful for first time visitors. If you are travelling with luggage expect a fair walk uphill and some steps along the way. The adjacent shopping centre looked functional enough albeit that, like 99% of businesses in Switzerland, it was closed on our arrival early on a Saturday evening and all day on the Sunday. The hotel itself occupies the first 9 floors of a tower block which I think may have had residential properties or offices above it. The small lobby area was pleasant enough and our check in was smooth, courteous and polite. The room itself was clean and simply furnished, and it offered a fridge, a coffee maker, plenty of power sockets and a decent shower. Breakfast offered a good variety of items but sometimes in modest quantities, probably reflecting the fact that we seemed to be the only guests dining there on the Sunday morning. Some items were sadly of poor quality (the croissants had a dreadfully fatty taste rather than a buttery flavour) and some were poorly prepared (fleshy, fatty bacon is most undesirable). Whilst it was included in our room rate, the walk in cost of breakfast seemed eye-wateringly high given the shortcomings we experienced. Overall, as I’m unlikely to return to Chur I’d be unlikely to stay here again. If I knew anyone visiting the city I’d be unlikely however to recommend the hotel based on my experience which was nothing more than average.

This is the most expensive hotel on my trip to Switzerland. The breakfast is excellent and the location is near the train station. I ate a few chocolates at the front desk. Recommended, just a little more affordable

Loved the Art Monopol in St Moritz! Wonderful hotel with spacious clean rooms. Very well located in the pedestrian area of the town, lots of shops around & nice restaurants. Plus funicular station just across the street making it so easy to hit the gorgeous St Moritz slopes. Staff at Monopol are truly very helpful & caring . Appreciated all & especially the free shuttle to and from the train station . Beautiful hotel in beautiful St Moritz!

The hotel is located in the middle of the two train stations. It takes about 15 minutes to walk, but there are buses that can get under the hotel and buses are more frequent. Good breakfast, cereal coffee, etc., you can make waffles yourself, if you want to eat fried eggs or boiled eggs, you need to tell the staff. The hygiene is very clean.

I have stayed at the Hauserhotel several times over the past 5 years and it continues to be one of the best mid range hotels in Switzerland. The welcome, the location, the comfort are all superb and I recommend anyone coming to St Moritz to come and stay here. It is that simple, you will not be disappointed and only impressed. 👍Lovely little 3 star hotel in very central position to town centre. Our room was no.10 on the ist floor with spectacular views overlooking lake and mountains. Room was clean and quiet and comfy bed.Free travel pass was also included. Hotel management friendly and helpful. Adequate continental brekky of cold meats,cheese,fresh fruit salad and breads,pastries. Ok range of English TV stations. Food can be expensive in Switzerland but a supermarket called COOP are wonderful for supplies. Would stay here again. 👎only downside was (as in a lot of overseas hotels) is a shower/bath combined.

We stayed for one night on our way from Italy to Austria. The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the motorway, with an underground car park (at CHF12 for the night). The guy on reception was extremely helpful (as were other staff at the hotel), including pointing out that he could offer us a free ticket for the local transport, which got us into the old town, for which he also supplied us with a useful map to help us find our way around. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony of the room (all rooms seemed to have one).

The hotel is good located. Near by a bus station. Hotel is new and modern, however we have seen a lot of things which needs to be repaired. Parking is expensive with 24 euros per day. Smell in our room was terrible on arrival. Until I noticed that in the shower the cleaner removed the water outlet so that the bad smell could come in. Only one of the restaurants was open and not much of selection is possible. I would not recommend the restaurant. Waiter said to my daughter that the spaghetti from kids menu is too small and he will make it bigger, then charged 28 euros instead of 18. The Spaghetti was tooooo Al dente. Most of the waiters are unfriendly and let us not feel welcomed. Overall: we will not book this hotel again. My friend got a handicapped room even he booked the higher category. It seems they had no other room but they did not tell him during checkin. When he asked later they offered another room after 2 days. We complained that we don't like the room but they said many people like it.. Hey, hotel management, when somebody pays so much for a hotel who is not handicapped he don't like a shower curtain instead of nice glass walls, he don't need open space concept cabinets, he needs normal cabinets with doors, he may like to sit on the sofa.. But there was no sofa. Heating? Not on by purpose. Only when we complained they turned the heater on after 1 day. Instead they provided mobile heater . We talked to other guests who had the same issue. 5* hotel? The pool temperature was way too low. The noise there unacceptable due to the design which is simple painted concrete walls. Spa are is 3 star only. Nothing which let you stay there for long. Breakfast was quite good we enjoyed this the most. To leave the hotel everybody is using the way over the ski room...terrible layout. The layout is not well planned.

The environment is very good, you can see the lake view on the balcony. The facilities are first class, the appliances are exquisite, the furniture is complete and the breakfast is rich. The first floor bar offers unrivaled lake views. excellent service. It is one of the most satisfying hotels in Europe.

Awesome stay. The room was cozy, warm and very alpine feeling. The bathroom also had a bath so we enjoyed that too and it had everything to make your winter holiday dreams reality. Would totally reccomend it.

The hotel is close to the lake, the scenery is beautiful in the morning and evening, you can enjoy the breakfast while watching the scenery It is recommended to choose a room with a lake view. Breakfast coffee and poached eggs are delicious. You can see the hotel after crossing the underground road of the station, and walk about three to five minutes from the station.

Very convenient location with bus ride to different parts of town. Has hotel car for free to take you from and to station. Lovely ski lodge theme room. Very nice hearing. Breakfast was standard, could see it snowing outside

An old hotel in the quaint area of Chur. The reception is very small when checking in. The room was quite a good size fairly basic. The bed was two twins pushed together. It was comfortable and the bedding clean and warm. There was reasonable storage. Tv had English channels but the signal was poor. Free wifi. The plug sockets were difficult to access as they were under the bedside tables near the floor. There was a dressing table but no mirror for make up or hair etc. The bathroom was very dated but although the shower was old it was very hot. The breakfast was very basic. The restaurant served good evening meals with large portions . I do think there should be nonslip mats in the bath

As a transit point in and out of the mountains, this hotel in Chur is very suitable. The staff is enthusiastic, the service is professional, the sanitary condition of the hotel is very good, and the rooms are big enough. If it is a temporary one-night stay before going to the mountains, it is very suitable. The hardware conditions are average, but since it is a transit hotel, the requirements are not so high. As the first ancient city in Switzerland, Chur still has a special charm. It is good to spend half a day strolling around. In addition, the canton of Graubingen, where Chur is located, is highly recommended. So far, not many Chinese tourists go to skiing in winter and hiking in summer. There are Bernina Express and Glacier Express to sit, and you can also go to the origin of the Rhine to see the canyon and hike. Zurich is also convenient in the past.

For 2 nights we were allowed to enjoy the extraordinary comfort and the very friendly staff at the Hotel Krone. There was a very friendly reception at the arrival. We were arrived early in the morning to ski. We could easily use the spacious deep garage and the skiing kelder. The hotel is an ideal starting point for skiing, a short walk to the gondol station. The room was very clean, modernly furnished and with enough room for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was exemplary and furnished with modern materials including shower gel, body lotion and fence. Water cooker for tea is also available. The room was quiet and we had 2 very pleasant and quiet nights. Large children's play area next to the reception. There was nothing missing at breakfast. Leave plates or containers were filled immediately. The offer was very rich, healthy and probably also regional. At the bar you can very well take an aperitif. In the offer is certainly something for every enjoyer. A table should be reserved for dinner in the restaurant. Very positive we were made by the very friendly staff. The reception, restaurant services, housekeeping, all had always a friendly smile or a greeting on their lips. That's rarely experienced in other hotels. Very great praise. Thank you very much to the entire team. We're happy to come back.

Hotel was located farther from the train station than i expected, and was on a seemingly quiet street. wasn't quite the case as a regular stream of loud people walking and chattering late into the night could be heard in the room. very hot season so windows had to be kept wide open as sweating inside. There was one instance of ringing of bells for like 15 min non-stop on a Sun night, not sure why. Fortunately not repeated while there, the hourly ones were short. Has to be said this was the best price I could find within the vicinity, room and toilet facilities were basic but decent. Be warned though, other than shops in the train station, absolutely nothing was open on Sunday including restaurants. Not an exciting town to see either. Bring instant noodles if you must stay.....

We stayed at another hotel but had an amazing dinner here while in Chur. Our server, Alessia was funny and charming and made us feel very comfortable. The menu choices were varied and lots to try that were regional or local dishes. We felt so welcomed and even received a cookbook to take home with us at the end of the meal! A fantastic evening overall!

We made reservations here at the last minute, picking the hotel for its proximity to the train station. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. We were there during the middle of the week in the off-season, but the service quality was excellent. We ate at the restaurant (we were among a handful of diners that night) not expecting much given the off-season. But the food was excellently prepared with thoughtfulness and high quality ingredients. It's a large hotel, much larger than we expected. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was a good size.

LOCATION: Zunfthaus zur Rebleuten is conveniently located at Pfisterplatz 1, most places of interest are within easy walking distance. Chur Station is about 600m away and can be reached on foot in under 10 minutes. If arriving on public transport, go down Bahnhofstrasse after you exit from station, continue onto Grabenstrasse followed by Nicolaigasse till you reach Kornplatz, turn in at Herrengasse and you will find Zunfthaus zur Rebleuten facing the Pfister fountain. This route goes along the periphery of Old Town pedestrian zone, thus avoiding the hassle of dragging unwieldy suitcases over cobblestoned streets as you’d be on level ground or pavement for most of the way. OVERVIEW: The historic building was originally a guildhall dating back to 1464, it has since been refurbished and converted into a small independent inn. This quaint property is steeped in history and full of quirks: the sloping floors, crooked walls, slanting ceilings and exposed wooden beams all add to its authenticity and charm! ROOM: Each of the 13 rooms has its own unique layout and décor – not all have ensuite facilities so be sure to check the room description when booking online. Classic Twin Room was clean and simply furnished with twin beds; pair of bedside tables & reading lamps; wall-mounted TV over a small desk with lamp & chair; wardrobe; and full-length mirror on wall. Tower Fan came in handy during the summer heatwave. BATHROOM: Retro ‘70s style but clean and adequate in size. Furnished with the usual mirror over wash basin, shower stall and toilet. Faint odour in bathroom at times but not pervasive nor unbearable – perhaps some issues with drainage or plumbing? Shower Stall might be a tight fit for guests of larger build but such compact size is quite normal by Swiss standards, especially in older buildings. There was good water pressure and plentiful hot water. Clean bath linen, toilet rolls, box of tissues and basic toiletries e.g. liquid soap provided. F&B: Breakfast Service is 7:30-10:30 and served in Zunftsaal, a traditional dining room with terrace on the 1st floor. Buffet breakfast comprises small selection of breads with jams & butter, cereals and fruits. Assorted cheeses and cold cuts are available on request. Eggs are prepared à la minute according to your preference. Beverage choices include orange juice, milk, tea & coffee. Situated next to the Reception is Zunftstube, a member of the Swiss Gilde of Established Restaurants. Guests can enjoy innovative cuisine made with fresh produce as well as excellent service & ambiance here. Closed on Tuesdays and only Dinner Service for Wed~Sat. Please check online for Opening Hours. Classico ApéroBar on the ground floor is open till late and popular with smokers. Those sensitive to noise or tobacco, please note that cigarette smoke may waft up to rooms and it could get quite noisy, especially on weekends. I stayed for 5 nights in January. The car can be parked in front of the room at a motel with a room and lobby away. Be careful on cold days or rainy days. The room was a bit cold for Japanese, but everything I needed was available and I was able to stay comfortably. Breakfast is included in the room rate, so you can have a continental breakfast. There were many military uniforms, probably because it was a base for military movement. In bars and restaurants, English is difficult to understand, but I have a high sensitivity to try to communicate with you. The taste was delicious and the drinks at the bar were brought back to the room so I could drink slowly in the room and relax after work.
