"This hotel is okay for a transit stay, but it's located in an unappealing commercial area. There are only two elevators for a large number of rooms.
The room itself is very comfortable and welcoming.
The main issue I had was with breakfast: if you only want a croissant (not everyone needs a full buffet for breakfast), you still have to pay 12€ and access the whole buffet. Even though the buffet is just a few meters away, the bar staff couldn't get a croissant because they said, 'it's a separate service.' I've never encountered such an absurd situation. We were only able to get coffee, which, by the way, was very overpriced.
The night receptionist was particularly friendly, but check-in took a very long time, even though we were the only ones arriving at that moment."

"We came here without a car having got busses from Bilbao. Not easy finding a hotel with a pool and within LaGuardia so worked perfectly. Arguably not a four star but was comfortable and and pool was lovely.

"I was really nicely surprised by this hotel as I wasn’t sure what to expect. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a gas station, restaurant, bar and shop onsite which is helpful for passing travellers. "Overall, it's a great choice. The airport shuttle runs from 5 AM to 11 PM, every half hour in the early mornings and late evenings, and every 10 minutes during the day. We stayed for three days and rented a car for two of them. Parking was free, and we could take the hotel's airport shuttle to pick up and drop off the rental car at the airport. For pick-up, you need to wait outside the departure gates on the third floor. The shuttle is a black 9-seater Mercedes-Benz. Breakfast is a bit simple, but they offer takeout, which is very convenient. I would definitely come back again."

"The location is really out of the way; everything is far, and public transportation isn't convenient. It's only suitable if you're driving. On the first night, they put me in a corner suite on the ground floor, which I wasn't thrilled about, but I made do for a night. The next day, I moved to the second floor, and that was much better.
On the last day, I asked if I could get a breakfast bag to go. At first, they said no, then later said yes. Then, when they were issuing my invoice, the front desk questioned whether my booking included breakfast. They only confirmed it did after checking themselves. What's even more ridiculous is that when I went to get bread, the box they gave me was dirty and had food residue inside – clearly used. While I was packing it, the staff kept staring at me, as if they were afraid I'd take too much... Honestly, it was speechless. It really felt like they were judging me."

"The hotel was well known and its strengths remained the location, comfort of beds, quality of towels and the bathroom in case it was in the room. I haven't enjoyed the meal in any of your options so I can't comment on it.
As regards deficiencies, the structure of the rooms makes the conversations of neighbouring rooms heard and clearly perceived (a good tape solves it) The spa is obsolete and it would be good to update it. The hotel is very comfortable and would repeat it, but as I suggested earlier, a 4-star hotel is defined by detail attention."

GGuest UserThe pension is easy to find, and staff are very helpful. Beds are comfortable; coffee and tea are available; everything is clean.
The only difficulty might be is there is only one bathroom for all the guests. We were here in low season, so didn't have much difficulty, but I can imagine problems in the high season.
The pension is in the old part of San Sebastian, so visiting the most picturesque parts is easy, as is visiting nearby villages.
Local food is excellent.
I highly recommend this pension; excellent value for your money. It's the best base for exploring this part of the Basque Country.

GGuest UserThe lady at the front desk was very friendly and enthusiastic when we checked in, asking if we needed a map and briefly explaining the surrounding routes.
The water pressure in the bathroom was a bit low, and switching between the showerhead settings required some guesswork.
Breakfast had a decent variety of choices.
It's only about a ten-minute walk from the Guggenheim Museum and the airport bus stop. It would have been better if they had provided information about the airport bus service being suspended on May 1st, as we checked out on Labor Day and waited at the bus stop for over half an hour for nothing.

RRonica.HGreat value for money, and the decor is quite nice too. While it's a bit far from the old town, getting to the boulevard by bus is very convenient. San Sebastián doesn't have ride-sharing apps like Uber, so if you need a taxi, you'll have to ask the front desk to call one for you.

Review:
1. Very cold room and bathroom. The room and especially the bathroom were extremely cold. When the air conditioner is turned on for heating, it blows directly onto the heads of people sleeping in the bed, making it uncomfortable and difficult to breathe.
2. Very noisy. The room faces a busy street. People were talking and making noise outside throughout the night. The sound insulation is very poor.
3. Extremely small room. The room is clearly designed for one person (this is even indicated on the hotel’s floor plan), but we were accommodated there as two guests. There is almost no space to place luggage or personal belongings. The bathroom also has no shelves at all.
4. Uncomfortable toilet placement. The toilet is positioned in such a way that it can only be used diagonally, which I consider completely unacceptable.
5. Missing desk shown in photos. The room photos showed a writing desk, but it was not actually present. We had to spend time requesting and arranging for a desk to be brought to the room, as it was necessary for work.
6. Parking information is misleading. The hotel description states that parking is available, but in reality it is about a 15-minute walk away. This is very inconvenient when traveling with luggage. We only discovered this upon arrival. This information was not communicated in advance. There is also nowhere near the hotel to stop even for 5 minutes to unload luggage. Additionally, there is no reception desk at the hotel, so it is difficult to quickly ask for assistance.

SSuneesh MenonI stayed at Hotel Zinema7 for 4 nights. The hotel has a modern design, comfortable rooms, and a pleasant atmosphere overall. However, there were a few disappointing aspects to the stay.
The location is not very central, which means you need to rely on buses or taxis more often than expected to reach the Old Town and main tourist areas.
The biggest frustration was that the telephone in the room was not working throughout the stay, despite reporting the issue. Unfortunately, it was never fixed, which made communication with reception inconvenient.
Another disappointing point was the complimentary water policy. Water was provided only on the first day, even during a 4-day stay, which felt unnecessarily stingy for a hotel of this category.
Overall, the hotel has good design and comfortable facilities, but the service experience and attention to guest convenience could definitely be improved.

BbaraoGuild**”BAD: Beware of the 'Upgrade'”**
Our priority when booking was the room size and budget, so we reserved a 32m² City View room.
At check-in, the hotel staff offered us an ”upgrade.” He said that for an additional €25 per day, we could ”upgrade,” so we agreed.
However, while the room did have a Sea View, the size was downgraded to just 21m². I told them that paying €25 to have a smaller room was a downgrade, but they insisted that the view had been upgraded.
I asked to be moved back to the room we originally booked, but the staff ignored my request for an entire day.
Let me ask you this: if you went to see a new landscape, and the view changed, how would you describe it? You wouldn’t say the landscape itself was ”upgraded,” would you? You’d say the view was different or better.
The following day, I finally got a response from the staff. They told me I’d need to pay an additional €70 per day if I wanted a 32m² Sea View room.
While the hotel facilities and scenery are excellent, the staff are focused entirely on business and seem to aim to squeeze every extra euro from their guests.
In the end, we ended up paying the €25.
