We were placed here due to a 35 hour delay over 200 guests and the hotel dealt really well with tired stressed passengers it is not where we wanted to be but they have dealt with the whole situation very well and compassionately unlike tui who left us stranded

My Mum and I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for 4 nights as part of her birthday celebration and it was perfect! The rooms are so comfortable and the bedding is sublime! The team who work there are so fantastic - nothing is too much trouble and ever so helpful. There are beautiful towels by the pool which don’t slip down and you get two as standard so not everything is wet when you get out! There is even suncream at the pool so you don’t have to bring your own! Wifi is brilliant throughout the hotel. Cocktails are beautiful, about 17-18 euros each but worth every penny! Absolutely delicious. My only criticism was the lack of food choices in the hotel by the pool - not a huge amount to choose from, very fish based (I don’t eat fish) and the service was a little slow for drinks but that could be the time of year. But there was fabulous popcorn cones and fruit kebabs which were shared in the morning which was great. When planning you’re trip, just be aware that there is nothing around without a taxi from this hotel - there’s some lovely local places nearby but you will need to get in a taxi. The beach area is incredibly well set up - the little train takes you there, there’s a full bar and restaurant, toilets, suncream and sun loungers. Overall it was a brilliant stay and would recommend the hotel for sure - would be even better once the refurbishments are done and there are a few more pools and the restaurant with a view is open again! We had a brilliant week at this hotel. What really stood out was the friendliness of the staff, everyone we met said hello and was happy to humour me practicing my rusty Spanish. The staff at the Iballa bar were particularly warm. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. The pool area was lovely and we never struggled for a lounger. We used the gym a few times - the space isn't particularly efficiently used, with machines taking up all available space that isn't needed for moving around, but it had a good range of equipment for a hotel gym. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was a bit dated but plenty of space. Our only complaint is about the bathrobes provided - they are tiny! We are both athletically built but not particularly large and the bathrobes didn't fit either of us comfortably.

The hotel is in a very good location, has very fast WiFi. Rooms are cleaned daily. Cleaning staff really needs solid re-training. Every time I left the room, I closed the window so that no one could jump into the room while I was gone and steal valuable things there, such as a laptop, camera, tablet, etc. However, when I returned, I found that the window was wide open. My room was on the ground floor, so anyone could jump in and rob my room at any time (It wouldn't take longer than 1 minute). The window led to the courtyard where there were no cctv cameras. Despite complaining to the hotel manager for 5 days in a row, nothing changed. Even when I put a sign on the window asking the cleaners to close the window after cleaning, they simply ripped it off and left the window open again. This put me under a lot of stress because for several days of my stay I was constantly wondering whether my things were still in the hotel while I was away from the hotel... this is unacceptable!!! besides, two times my towels were taken away and I never got clean ones, I had to go to the reception and ask for clean towels... with all due respect but your cleaning staff really needs solid re-training

Overall a hotel 10! The location being central makes it difficult to park, we recommend reserving a parking space for €8/day. The breakfast was undoubtedly the best and the staff was very pleasant.

The hotel and staff were excellent overall, room was big, spacious and well equipped. hotel had a wonderful trail of trees from all over the world and a lot of activities/areas to explore and enjoy. Location distance to local shopping centre was not bad especially as they have a shuttle service and cabs too are very reasonable and reliable. Special mention to a wonderful bartender, Yasiel who made the BEST drinks. He definitely goes above and beyond with service and his drinks including his specialty drinks are quality. My family and I ordered quite a variety of drinks over the duration of our holiday and we were not disappointed ever. Another member who we interacted a lot with was Isaac who entertained on karaoke nights and during the day with a lot of activities. Brilliant place for an amazing relaxed atmosphere where you can tailor your holiday the way you want.

My stay was great, the hotels location was about 15 mins from Tenerife south Airport by taxi which was quite convenient. Hotel was lovely, pool was lovely

Apartment is very comfortable room, with balcony and table, indoor table, all kitchen comfort. Family is done almost every day. Very clean, very friendly staff, including at the reception. We were next to the restaurant on the floor, so a little noise in the evening, but next to enjoy the animations. The residence is well placed to walk in the city, car parked outside at a maximum of 5 minutes in adjacent streets. the staff explains how to go there ... Very happy with our stay.

The hotel is very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They do serve delicious meals, loved the servings of their breakfast, and being a coffee drinker, they have the most delicious one there. The location in the Center of the city, the beach is 30 minutes with the public transport 5 minutes walk from the hotel. By car it’s 10-15 minutes. A perfect spot to go for evening walks. The area feels very safe in the evening, the city Center is very lively even during the week days. The area is Perfect for people travelling alone and couples or even families.

As many reviews mention this hotel is a little run down and tired looking, but this did not have an impact on our holiday. Checking in was quick and the room was spacious and clean if a little dated, it was also very hot due to no air conditioning . The pool was OK and cleaned daily, we did not have an issue with the opening times. We did feel maybe a few more umbrellas would have been good for those who prefer the shade. We were all inclusive and the pool snacks were good although we feel maybe the alcohol was heavily watered down as the measures were huge yet had no effect although the lack of a hangover was appreciated! The food was repetitive and not much choice, we never went hungry but after 2 weeks we just wanted something different. We did know before we went there was not much around the hotel it is in the middle if nowhere a walk to the next town took 40 mins. The entertainment was mediocre, during the day Giovanni made it he was very Friendly and checked on everyone every morning. We did have a good break but feel maybe 2 weeks was too long due to food and location. If you are looking for a short quiet break we would recommend.

First we receiver a room on 6th floor, 604. Outside the hotel, aprox 1 meter from the entrance there is a highway with 6 files, heavy and fast traffic 24/7. It was like the beds were placed in the middle of the highway, no sleep that night, called the reception at 5:30 in the morning to change room. We had two choices, one at the first floor at the highway and one with the view to a black wall, but quiet. A small room, probably a single room because there were only one towel and one papercoup. Well we felt the odour in the bathroom but not as heavy as day two, today. I nearly throw up and had to leave the bathroom. It said it should be shampoo with conditioner but of course it wasn’t, it was very dirty in the shower with a lot of black mowl. The hairdryer was screeming when I used it. My husband booked this as a birthday travel and stay during his birthday. It is the most horrible stay we ever had in a hotel and we have made many trips. In the description of the location of the hotel you get the impression that it is just beside the beach. IT IS NOT!! You are located at the highway. Do not go here if you are not forced to. We moved out two days before our check out and moved to a very good hotel, far away from the highway and close to las Canteras. Ps to the manager do not bother to explain this. Do your work and see to that all Windows Will be changed to 4-glass.

There are positives and negatives: Positives: ＞ Polite, knowledgeable and friendly reception team available 24/7. ＞ Clean room and common areas ＞ Cleaners in alternate days, (albeit early) - so we put the ”Do not Disturb”notice on the door. ＞ Large, comfortable bed ＞ Excellent shower, plenty of hot water. ＞ Air conditioning (but we did not need to use it). ＞ Good kitchen facilities, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee machine, kettle. Dishcloth, washing up rush and the towel supplied. Negatves:

I didn't like that 1 week before we called and went to ask if they could change the room for one with a view of the beach and they told us that they would do it the same day we entered and then that day they had no room available and I booked there just because to have a room with a view of the beach for a birthday surprise that I wanted to do. I thought it was very bad of him.

I booked this hotel after being let down by the Beatriz Hotel in the same area and am confident that I made the right decision by coming here. Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean everywhere, bedroom huge - I asked for a higher floor room when I booked online and pleasantly surprised when I got one. Quite possibly THE most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! The usual shower cream, shampoo and soap provided and a coffee pod machine with pods, and a kettle provided. Free Wi-Fi came up as insecure so I used 4G instead. TV - bbc1, 2, and 3, itv, channel 4 and 5. Didn’t participate in the entertainment but I could hear and see it from my balcony and it was excellent every time. 2 buffet restaurants, one family friendly the other adults only. Bookable restaurant on site also which is extra if you want to choose from a menu. I found the food delicious with a good selection to choose from. I really looked forward to my meals there! Breakfast I had a freshly made omelette with bacon and either roasted sweet peppers or cherry tomatoes. Nice touch that the resident hotel manager makes a point of being in the restaurants over mealtimes observing things, I’ve never seen that before. There is also a restaurant manager who seats you, rather than it being a free for all. All staff are super friendly and very helpful. Overall I’d definitely return here, and recommend Aequora as it’s a good base, central to the strips of Matagorda and Puerto del Carmen. This resort is super clean too, no fag butts, discarded plastic or glass bottles and drink tins. Just a stunning place. Thank you to everyone at Aequora for a lovely stay.

A five star experience from start to finish began at checkin on our arrival. Friendly, professional staff directed us to our room which, despite the dark, promised a great view and was well furnished and spacious. We ate at Wok and Zen the first night where the great service continued alongside fabulous food. The piano bar offered live music every night and the group on Sunday were brilliant. If you choose to have dinner at El Faro, and I highly recommend that you do, then choose the croquettes! I have to mention Gloria on reception who went above and beyond to arrange a specialist excursion for me and for her help and compassion in helping my husband on departure. Sheraton have a team to be proud of…

Stayed for two nights whilst on vacation exploring Lanzarote, paying a pretty good price for a last-minute booking. The compact hotel is very well located near the centre of Arrecife, on the coast almost directly opposite the Castillo de San Gabriel. There is no parking available at the hotel, although there is a large public 24hr underground carpark near the Arrecife Gran Hotel about a 10-minute walk away (around 30€ for a day and a half). Check in was quick and friendly, despite a late-night arrival. My room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the back streets of Arrecife. The room was comfortable although the décor was perhaps a little old. Good WIFI, but the room had only one free power socket (as the fridge had been unplugged before I arrived). The bed was fairly comfortable, some noise from the street at night, but nothing too loud. My room didn’t have aircon, which wasn’t an issue in October, but maybe an issue in the summer? Breakfast was on the terrace at the top of the hotel giving really good views; and a good selection to food choose from. Overall, a well located hotel to explore Arrecife and the surrounding area, but given the limited facilities at the hotel and lack of parking maybe better for short stays!

We had booked to stay at a Villa in Puerto Del Carmen for a fortnight but needed alternative accommodation for the first two nights due to flights. We decided on Club Del Carmen. Service from staff was great, very helpful and friendly. Our apartment was very clean and spacious with a great view overlooking the pool with the sea just behind. Club Del Carmen is very eco friendly. Great to have a tap with drinking water in our room. You could use the pool at any time during its opening hours but sun beds had to be booked. You could book a morning or afternoon slot. They said it’s usually one slot per day per room, but if people don’t show up for their slot within 30 mins the lifeguard will look to see if there is space for you. We thought the booking system was a great idea. We ate at the restaurant on-site Baily Bar for one of the evenings, the food was lovely and reasonably priced. We were very happy with our short stay and would look to stay again in the future.

The apartment is very well located, especially if you are going to carnavals, because in the same square the scene where the most significant events of these parties are held. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. You have to shower mili style and one or the morning and anotherfor the night, because I already tell you that it doesn't give anything. In the reception we were attended Don Ladies, one of them, the oldest was a little, quite dry, the truth, With the pleasantness of the Canary .... the other woman was quite more pleasant and little more, in the school there is a message for two, in which we were ours there were saccharose, there are many apartments that do not have it. A good place to spend a few days, but not to go on holidays.

We stayed in the hotel for a few nights before a cruise. It’s in an ideal location. 200 metres from the Canteras beach and 400 metres from Santa Catalina bus station which is just beside the cruise terminal. The commercial centre is 600 metres away. There’s a lot of restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets in the immediate surrounding area. A taxi to the old town is 6 Euros. Rooms are modern, clean, have a free safe, mini fridge, complimentary water & toiletries, and a nice bathroom with powerful shower. A quiet room coupled with comfortable beds and great latex pillows meant we got a good night’s sleep. We prepaid breakfast which offered high quality cereals, cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, breads, fruit and some hot options together with juices and coffee. The hotel has left luggage lockers and a courtesy toilet and shower facilities which we appreciated as we had a late flight. Staff were excellent: professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable hotel in a good location. Very friendly staff, you can relax in the swimming pool. Fully recommend.

Lovely holiday at delightful hotel Had fab room overlooking golf course with own sun loungers (408) Beautiful modern room with the biggest monsoon shower ever seen Breakfast fab served by the pool Lunch also available there. Great choice and price Dinner half board only thing that let it down. Served inthe Atlantico restaurant in a separate section at the back of this lovely restaurant and a very mediocre selection of uninspired dishes. Ate there a la carte on another evening and that was fab, totally different experience ! Rooms lovely and clean and chocolates left on pillow some days - nice touch. Shane water tea bags and coffee weren’t replenished once used Pool fantastic and spa lovely and staff friendly All in all would recommend !

Fantastic professional knowledgeable staff and an excellent hotel. I fully recommend it as it is clean, well-appointed, and great value for money. The reception area is beautiful and always kept immaculate and my only minor complaint would be that the lifts are very slow. As usual, I will return on my next visit to Las Palmas Gran Canaria!

Modern hotel set on a side street just 100m from the excellent beach & promenade. We stated 7 nights on a bed & breakfast basis. The room was large with very nice bathroom and included tea/coffee facilities, air con and safe. The double bed was two large singles together which is now unfortunately more common throughout Europe but we loved the crisp white cotton sheets and the two different types of pillow. Our room was on the 5th floor to the front over looking the street but we had minimal noise. The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas and we had fresh towels each day. There was a sun terrace on the top floor with modern sun loungers available. Breakfast was sufficient with an acceptable level of choice but I would have liked the three hot choices to be cooked more often as they can sit in a hot tray for a prolonged period. All of the staff were excellent in manner and efficiency. The new shopping centre at the end of the promenade is within walking distance and there is a second shopping centre available 1000m at the opposite end of the hotel street from the beach where the cruise liners dock. This a great value hotel in an outstanding location with fantastic access to the promenade (flat location) and beach, highly recommended for a winter break, we shall return.
