A treasure for weekend day trips for workers in Ganzhou and Guangdong! Legend has it that this is where Han Zhongli attained enlightenment. With its unique Danxia peaks and ancient cliffside temples, it's quiet and uncrowded. On misty days, the atmosphere is incredible, and in February, there are fields of rapeseed flowers that are perfect for photos. With a mix of hiking and a Hanxian Lake boat tour, save this tried-and-tested guide to avoid common pitfalls 🌟 🏞 Key photo spots ▪️ Hezhang Gate: A natural mountain gate. Perfect for photos in Hanfu, it's the iconic entrance to the scenic area. ▪️ Yixiantian (A Thread of Sky): The narrowest point is only 30cm wide. You have to turn sideways to pass through, and the light and shadows in the stone crevices are stunning—full of adventure. ▪️ Xianren Bridge: A natural suspended stone beam spanning two peaks. The canyon below is deep, so be careful if you have a fear of heights. ▪️ Hanxian Ancient Temple (Yuanning Temple): Built on a cliff, with red walls and dark tiles, hidden among the Danxia mountains. ▪️ Mountain Plank Road & Xianren Valley & Shenlong Gorge: The essence of the grand loop, winding through the Danxia rock walls. 🗺 Tested itinerary (Hiking + boat tour one-day plan) Depart from Wuping and drive about 1 hour to reach the Hanxianyan Visitor Center. 10:10 Enter the park → Hezhang Gate → Yuanning Temple (Easy to get lost! You will return here after finishing the Yixiantian loop) → Yixiantian loop → Yuanning Temple to the mountain plank road → Xianren Valley → Shenlong Gorge → Return to the visitor center (approx. 2.5 hours of hiking). Drive 500 meters to the Hanxian Lake pier, purchase a boat ticket + scenic transport, and enjoy a boat tour of the water-based Danxia landscape. The boat arrives at the far pier, then take the scenic transport back to the main pier. Note: You can stop by Yangjiaoshui Fort on the way. It's a Ming and Qing dynasty military fortress, but personally, I found it had less to see. If you're short on time, you can skip it. 🚗 Transportation & Tickets 📍 Navigation: Huichang Hanxianyan Scenic Area 🚙 Driving: About 1 hour from Wuping; about 2 hours from downtown Ganzhou; about 4 hours from Nanchang. 🎫 Tickets: General admission is 20–40 yuan; graduate students can get free admission with a valid ID. The Hanxian Lake boat tour requires a separate ticket. Buying a package online in advance is more cost-effective. Children's tickets must be purchased separately on-site. ⏰ Suggestion: Prioritize hiking in the morning. Boat tours may be unavailable in the afternoon, and scenic area staff suggest that there are more boat spots available in the morning. 🍜 Local food Head down to Huichang County for a meal. Must-try: ✅ Huichang Rice Noodles: Smooth and chewy, a local specialty. ✅ Sour Water Tofu: As tender as pudding, one bite is amazing. 💡 Tips to avoid pitfalls 1. Some stone steps are steep, so be sure to wear non-slip sports shoes. There are many mosquitoes on the mountain, so bring mosquito repellent and consider wearing long pants. 2. There are few shops on the mountain, so bring your own drinking water and some dry snacks. 3. It's misty and ethereal on rainy days, adding to the fairyland feel. If you come in February, the rapeseed flowers at the foot of the mountain are in full bloom, which makes for great photos. 4. It's easy to take a wrong turn at Yuanning Temple. It is recommended to take a photo of the scenic area map when entering the park to avoid walking in circles. 5. The boat tour is one-way. After getting off the boat, you need to take the scenic transport back to the pier, so plan your time accordingly.

Before visiting Longyan, I also thought it was just about seeing the Tulou. After completing the trip, I realized this land in Western Fujian hides so much more. The vibrant daily life of the Hakka walled houses, the ruggedness of the Danxia landforms, the slow pace of the ancient city, the cool air of the underground caves, and the wildness of the South China tiger—every stop refreshed my perspective, and none of them were just filler. 🌍 1. Yongding Tulou | Step into the real-life scenes of "Big Fish & Begonia" 📍 Address: Hongkeng Village, Hukeng Town, Yongding District, Longyan City, Fujian Province (Hongkeng Tulou Cluster) When I first stood in the center of the Zhencheng Building's courtyard and looked up, I was truly stunned. The circular earthen walls framed the sky into a huge circle, and the sunlight slanted down from the top, casting long shadows on the walls. Locals still live in the building; an elderly woman was picking vegetables under the corridor, children were running in the courtyard, and the sound of chickens came from a corner—this isn't a set for tourists, it's everyday life. Practical info: Tickets for the Hongkeng Tulou Cluster are about CNY 90, the Gaobei Tulou Cluster (where Chengqi Building is located) are about CNY 50, and the Chuxi Tulou Cluster are about CNY 65. It is recommended to buy tickets individually as needed; there is no need to force a joint ticket. If you arrive at Chengqi Building before 7:00 AM, there is almost no one there. Walking from the center outward through the concentric circular structure feels like traveling through a time tunnel. Wearing plain-colored clothes is best for photos, and mosquito repellent is a must. ⚠️ Most of the Tulou are residential homes. Please ask for permission before taking photos and do not speak loudly. ⛰️ 2. Liancheng Mount Guanzhai | The "ruggedness" of the Danxia landform 📍 Address: Guanjing Road, Liancheng County, Longyan City, Fujian Province The "Zhai" in Mount Guanzhai is pronounced "zhài"—don't type it wrong in your navigation app. This mountain and Mount Wuyi are known as the "Twin Wonders of Danxia," but their temperaments are completely different. Mount Wuyi is soft, while Mount Guanzhai is hard. The rocks stand there as if they were carved by a knife. Looking up from the bottom of the "Root of Life" Danxia stone pillar is truly impressive. Practical info: Line A is about CNY 120 and includes a boat ride on Shimen Lake, suitable for a light half-day hike. Line B is about CNY 180 and includes a cable car and Jiulong Lake, suitable for those with good stamina for a full day. It is recommended to take the boat first and then climb the mountain; the scenery framed by the Shimen Lake boat ride is like a painting. Enter the park before 8:00 AM; if you go later, tour groups and the sun will arrive at the same time, making for a much worse experience. Moss on the steps is common, so wear non-slip shoes. 🏮 3. Changting Ancient City | A thousand-year-old Hakka capital you can explore for free 📍 Address: Tingzhou Town, Changting County, Longyan City (the entire ancient city is open for free) What surprised me most about Changting Ancient City is that it doesn't put on an act. The bluestone roads of Diantou Street have been polished smooth by footsteps, and beneath the stilted buildings on both sides are local shops selling dried tofu, rice wine, and oil-paper umbrellas, without any trace of staged setups. Walking along the ancient city wall to Chaotian Gate at dusk, the red lanterns are reflected on the surface of the Ting River, and the bougainvillea at the foot of the city wall is in full bloom. Practical info: The ancient city itself does not charge an admission fee, but climbing the Jichuan Gate costs about CNY 27, and Wolong Academy costs about CNY 60. If you want to enter all these spots, buying the CNY 98 five-site joint ticket is more cost-effective. Tingzhou Examination Hall (Changting Museum) is free with an ID card. It is recommended to arrive in the afternoon; explore Diantou Street and Xingxianfang during the day, climb the city wall at dusk, and watch the night view after dark—the pace is just right. 🕳️ 4. Longkong Cave | Melting outside, but bring a light jacket inside 📍 Address: Longkang Village, Yanshi Town, Xinluo District, Longyan City I went to this spot as a "summer escape." It was over 30°C outside, but the temperature dropped to about 18°C the moment I entered the cave, and the chill crept up from the soles of my feet. The space inside the cave is much larger than I imagined; the "Dragon Palace Hall" is about 40 meters high, and the natural echo wall effect is very special—if you stand inside and speak, your voice will echo back. You can take a boat out through the underground river; the boat travels through the karst cave with stalactites overhead and the sound of water echoing in the cave. Practical info: The admission ticket is about CNY 55, and the underground river boat ride is an additional CNY 30 per person. It is recommended to take it, as the experience is completely different. The cave is damp and slippery, so don't wear flip-flops, and a light jacket is a must. If driving from downtown Longyan, it takes about 1 hour, and parking is free. For public transport, you can take the tourist line from Longyan Bus Station, which costs about CNY 15 one way. 🐅 5. Meihuashan South China Tiger Park | Home of the South China tiger 📍 Address: Mafang Village, Buyun Township, Gutian Town, Shanghang County, Longyan City This was the stop I had the lowest expectations for, but it left the deepest impression. Meihuashan is the area with the largest number of existing South China tigers and the most frequent activity, and it is also the only ecological tourism area in the country with the protection of the South China tiger as its theme. On the way up the mountain by cable car, the entire mountain range was covered in green, with clouds and mist swirling around. After arriving at the tiger park and seeing the South China tigers through the glass, the innate sense of majesty cannot be captured in photos. Practical info: The park admission ticket is about CNY 50, and the cable car is an additional CNY 120 per person. It is only 8 kilometers away from the former site of the Gutian Meeting, so you can combine them into one trip. It is recommended to go in the morning when the animals are more active. The temperature on the mountain is much lower than in the city, so bring a light jacket. 🚗 Route suggestions: These 5 spots are distributed in different counties and districts (Yongding, Liancheng, Changting, Xinluo, Shanghang), so visiting two in one day is very tight. It is recommended to arrange at least 3 days: Day 1: Yongding Tulou; Day 2: Mount Guanzhai + Changting Ancient City (the drive from Liancheng to Changting is about 1 hour); Day 3: Choose between Longkong Cave or Meihuashan. If you are not driving, high-speed rail + local chartered car is the most reliable plan, as waiting for public transport can be quite tedious. 🍜 A quick note on food: Longyan clear soup noodles (the old shops on Jiuyi North Road), Yongding hand-beaten beef balls, Changting Boji Ban (steamed rice rolls), taro dumplings, and Liancheng white duck soup—you can't go wrong walking into any shop crowded with locals.

In the scorching summer, when the city is swept by heat waves, I set off for Liangyeshan in Wuping, Longyan, hoping to find coolness and tranquility in this land known as a natural oxygen bar. Departure: heading into nature’s embrace Early in the morning, although the sun was already showing its strength, I set out early with great anticipation for Liangyeshan. Leaving Longyan city, I followed the winding road as the scenery outside gradually shifted from urban bustle to rural calm. Along the way, green mountains and clear waters accompanied me, and occasionally I saw farmers working in the fields by the roadside. A pastoral landscape slowly unfolded before my eyes. After about two hours of driving, I finally arrived at the Liangyeshan scenic area. Entering the park: meeting the sea of clouds and waterfalls As soon as I entered the park, I was stunned by the breathtaking view. In the early morning, mist swirled among the mountains of Liangyeshan, as if draping the peaks in a mysterious veil, creating a fairyland-like scene. Eagerly, I followed the trail and first came upon the upper waterfall group. The waterfalls here vary in form—some cascade like the Milky Way falling from the sky, majestic and powerful; others flow like floating jade ribbons, light and graceful. The Feiyun waterfall is one of the most famous spots in the upper waterfall group. It consists of two waterfalls with different shapes, reaching up to the clouds, as if water is pouring down from the sky. Standing beneath the falls, the mist surrounds you, making it feel like a fairyland. Sunlight filtering through the spray creates beautiful rainbows, inspiring awe at nature’s wonder and beauty. The cliff above the waterfall resembles the head of a longevity god, as if borrowing the cloud water to bless the people, which is why it is also called the Buddha light waterfall. Continuing on, I reached the Jingu waterfall. Jingu waterfall has two tiers, with a huge rock in the middle shaped like a divine turtle drinking water. The turtle’s head emerges from the waterfall, its bright eyes seeming to gaze into the distance. Legend says this turtle was once the dragon prince’s mount, who retired to the mountains to live out its days and became a thousand-year-old divine turtle. Standing before the waterfall, listening to the flowing water and feeling the cool spray, all fatigue and worries seemed to wash away. Deeper into the forest: exploring pristine beauty Following the trail deeper into the forest felt like entering a green world. The forest coverage here is very high, with lush trees shading the sky. Sunlight filters through the leaves, creating patches of dappled light. Walking along the forest path, breathing in the fresh air rich in negative oxygen ions, it felt as if every cell in my body was joyfully alive. Along the way, I saw many rare plants and wild animals. Occasionally, I spotted several southern yew trees, a national first-class protected species. They stood tall and vigorous, their branches and leaves lush, as if telling the ancient and mysterious story of this land. Sometimes, bird songs and monkey calls added life and energy to the quiet forest. By fairy lake: enjoying peaceful moments At noon, I arrived at Fairy Lake. Fairy Lake is an artificial lake formed by a dam, with crystal-clear water like a giant mirror reflecting the surrounding mountains and trees. A wooden boardwalk winds along the lake shore. I strolled along the boardwalk, admiring the lake and mountain scenery and feeling the gentle breeze, which made me feel especially relaxed. I sat down to rest in a pavilion by the lake and tasted local delicacies. Yunzhai village has many farmhouses offering authentic rural dishes like bamboo tube rice and wild vegetable porridge, delicious and unforgettable. Eating while watching fish swim in the lake, it felt as if time had stopped, and I just wanted to immerse myself in this peaceful moment. Liangyeshan temple: experiencing cultural heritage In the afternoon, I visited Liangyeshan temple. The temple has a long history and is bustling with incense. It is dedicated to the Hakka protector deity, the ancient Buddha Dingguang. Entering the temple, a solemn and reverent atmosphere greeted me. The architecture is unique, blending Hakka cultural elements with upturned eaves and carved beams, showcasing a simple and elegant beauty. Inside the temple, I quietly paid my respects and felt the influence of Buddhist culture. Listening to the monks chanting, it seemed to cleanse the dust from my soul, bringing inner peace and calm. Around the temple, there are some ancient buildings and stone inscriptions that witness the historical changes of Liangyeshan and deepened my understanding of this land. Return journey: leaving with beautiful memories As the sun set, I reluctantly began my return trip. Looking back, Liangyeshan appeared even more beautiful in the sunset glow. This trip to Liangyeshan allowed me to escape the city’s noise and heat, get close to nature, and experience its magic and charm. Here, I not only enjoyed magnificent natural scenery but also tasted delicious rural dishes and experienced rich Hakka cultural heritage. Liangyeshan is like a shining gem embedded in western Fujian, attracting countless visitors to explore its beauty and mystery. I believe this trip will become a wonderful memory in my life, and I look forward to coming back again to experience its unique charm once more. 1. Longyan in July is a hidden summer getaway tucked away in Fujian’s mountains and waters🏞️. Mist swirls through the mountains, ancient villages are lush and green, and tulou, waterfalls, and forests are at their most beautiful✨. But it’s also really tough on your legs😂. Attractions are far apart with lots of mountain roads. After three days, you’ll easily hit 20,000 steps a day, but the views make it all worth it! Longyan is better enjoyed at a slower pace. Stay a night in a tulou to hear the roosters at dawn and watch the first sunlight hit the earthen walls🌅 Be sure to visit Changting ancient city at night. When the lights come on, the atmosphere is unbeatable🏮 July is hot, so it’s best to hike in the morning and plan indoor or slow walks in the ancient city in the afternoon for a more comfortable experience😎 Tips to avoid trouble⚠️ Tulou attractions are spread out, so don’t try to rush all spots in one day—it’s exhausting🥵 There are many mosquitoes in the mountains during summer, so bring mosquito repellent🦟 Food prices inside scenic areas tend to be high, so prepare snacks and water in advance🥤 Don’t trust roadside vendors selling overpriced local specialties. Always ask the price before buying💰 Local delicacies🍽️ Hakka beef balls🥣: chewy and flavorful with a rich broth, a Longyan classic Taro buns: soft outer skin with rich filling, gets more delicious the more you eat😋 Changting dried tofu: fragrant and tasty, great as a snack or with rice Hakka stuffed tofu: tender tofu with savory meat filling, full of homemade flavor Boji rice cake: strong rice aroma and soft texture, perfect for breakfast Recommended drinks🥤 Lei cha: a Hakka specialty drink with a fresh, unique grain flavor🌿 Foods to avoid🚫 Some scenic area set meals are pricey but average in taste. It’s better to eat at local favorite small restaurants Many dishes are heavy in flavor. If you prefer lighter food, communicate this in advance Survival guide🧭 Sunscreen, hats, and umbrellas are essential🌞 Wear sneakers for hiking or your legs will be sore the next day Carry a power bank as your phone battery drains quickly when taking photos in the mountains📱 About accommodations🏠 Near Yongding tulou: ideal for those wanting to experience the tulou’s nighttime atmosphere Near Changting ancient city: great for those who enjoy shopping and night photography Longyan city center: convenient transportation and many dining options, good for transit stays Budget reference💸 Accommodation: 100–300 CNY per night Meals: 40–100 CNY per day Transportation: Attractions are far apart, so plan carpooling or car rental in advance🚗 Souvenirs: Hakka tea, rice wine, and dried tofu make good gifts🎁 Transportation🚄 Arriving from other cities: high-speed rail goes directly to Longyan station Getting around: buses work well in the city. For tulou and mountain attractions, car rental or carpooling is more convenient Best time to visit📅 Spring and autumn are most comfortable. July is hot but the mountains offer great summer relief🌳. There’s a big temperature difference between morning and night, so bring a light jacket. In summary: Longyan isn’t a city you can “easily tour”😂. It takes some effort to enjoy the scenery. But after three days, seeing the morning light on the tulou, the night views of the ancient city, and the sea of clouds in the mountains, you’ll realize this “tough trip” was truly worth it💚

For those stuck in the urban grind, a spontaneous summer getaway is exactly what you need. At the start of early summer, I took my whole family straight into the Liangyeshan National Nature Reserve in Wuping, Longyan. Unexpectedly, this trip completely rebooted my worn-down spirit. 📍Overview Liangyeshan in Wuping, Longyan, Fujian, is a national 4A-level nature reserve. There’s no city heat or noise here, only a cool 25℃ sanctuary. Driving along the winding mountain road, the expansive green Fairy Lake and Yunzai Village come into view. The air is filled with mist and fresh breeze, making it a true natural air conditioner and a haven of negative oxygen ions. 🗺️Itinerary D1 → Arrive at Yunzai Village → Check in to mountain lodge → Stroll along the creek to explore shallow pools (family water play) → Sit quietly by Fairy Lake and daydream → D2 → Hike the forest boardwalk (through ancient trees and bamboo) → Afternoon rest at the lodge (sunlight filters through old trees, casting dappled shadows) → Cook wild mountain dishes on site (fish head soup, corn, local steamed rice cake) → Taste Liangyeshan green tea → D3 → Early morning bird and stream sounds → Deep forest experience → Return home loaded with local specialties → Tips: Although the temperature difference between morning and night is small, it’s windy by the creek, so bring extra clothes for kids. The forest boardwalk has many mosquitoes, so remember to bring insect repellent. ✨Highlights A friend’s creekside mountain lodge is like a dream home, surrounded by dense forest with bamboo swaying like green waves. Here, your breath slows and your mind lightens. Kids can play all day in the pools without getting bored, while adults love sitting on the rocks by Fairy Lake listening to the wind and watching the water or lying in bed watching sunlight paint through the window. Every breath here feels like a sweet forest bath. 🍜Local specialties The ingredients here focus on freshness and wild flavors. Fish freshly caught from mountain springs is cooked with handmade tofu from the village, simmering into a deliciously fresh fish head soup. Sweet corn is picked from the fields and steamed, served with the local specialty steamed rice cake. Free-range chicken, duck, and wild vegetables are everywhere. After the meal, boil some flowing creek water and brew Liangyeshan green tea picked from the mountains. Its light orchid aroma refreshes the soul. 🏨Accommodation recommendations 1. Homestays near the scenic area: Highly recommend a friend’s self-built mountain lodge (similar to those in Yunzai Village), built by the creek with greenery at the doorstep and water play spots just outside. It lets you truly immerse in nature and enjoy tranquility. 2. Luxury hotel: Wuping Zhongkai International Hotel, located in the county center with modern facilities, is a convenient base for entering and leaving Liangyeshan, suitable for travelers who prioritize accommodation quality. 🎒Travel essentials 1. Protection: insect repellent spray, sunscreen, sun hat, lightweight rain gear (mountain areas often have showers). 2. Personal items: change of clothes (especially for kids), waterproof bag/water gun, power bank, comfortable non-slip hiking shoes. 💡Practical tips 1. Some roads in Liangyeshan Nature Reserve are winding mountain roads. Drive carefully and watch for oncoming traffic. 2. Although the mountain streams are clear, pool depths vary. Always supervise children when playing in the water and stay in areas with adult supervision. 3. The local steamed rice cake and free-range chicken and duck are must-try specialties. You can order from villagers or try them at countryside restaurants in the county. 4. Respect nature by taking your trash with you and protecting this green wonderland. After staying here for a few days, I really didn’t want to leave. The so-called “mountain life” is like living the flow of the creek—clear and shallow, unhurried and calm. On the way home, the trunk was packed with local specialties, and I brought back a completely refreshed self. This summer, escaping the heat in Liangyeshan was worth it 🌿!

As the daytime hustle slowly fades, the city takes on a gentle new look. The night breeze sweeps away the last trace of the day's heat, and streetlights cast a warm yellow glow, blanketing the streets in soft hues. The midnight streets are no longer crowded; occasionally, a few latecomers pass by, their footsteps echoing softly on the cobblestones. Strolling leisurely down quiet alleys, you'll find the late-night street food stalls just coming to life. Steaming pots bubble with fragrant ingredients as the vendors skillfully flip their spatulas, greeting approaching customers with warm hospitality. Grab a seat at a small table and order a few piping hot snacks. Surrounded by young locals who just got off work, everyone eats and chats in a relaxed vibe. The voices aren't loud, but they are brimming with life. After eating, you can continue your slow wander down the street. Peeking into a 24-hour bookstore, you might see a few people quietly reading. Convenience store glass doors slide open now and then, with young people walking out carrying drinks. The late-night city lacks the rush of the day; even the pace slows down. You can wander wherever your heart takes you, without worrying about crowds or fearing you might miss out on something. Just roaming the midnight streets like this, feeling the city's gentle charm after it drops all its defenses—this unique experience is a hidden treasure you could never find during the day.

In the sweltering summer heat, visit the Baijia Courtyard for a date with ancient architecture and coolness. The connected ancient residences hold the wisdom of the ancients for beating the heat: dark tiles shield from the blazing sun, courtyards draw in fresh breezes, deep alleys offer constant cool air, and bluestone courtyards provide a refreshing chill. Thick shade covers the courtyards, and carved wooden corridors block out the heat. Walking through them, gentle breezes surround you continuously. Escape the outdoor heat by sitting leisurely under the eaves of the old courtyard, listening to cicadas, admiring ancient buildings, and enjoying the breeze. Find a quiet coolness among bricks, tiles, and plants, immersing yourself in natural comfort without the need for air conditioning. Enjoy both heat relief and sightseeing, securing a whole summer of relaxation and freshness. Baijia Courtyard, Wuping, Longyan

1. Overview of Cultural Tourism Situated on the remnants of the Wuyi Mountains, controlling the throat of three counties, Longhua Mountain (formerly known as Lingshe Mountain) is located in Yanggu Township, Changting, Longyan. With an elevation of 1,048 meters, it lies at the junction of Changting, Shanghang, and Wuping counties, boasting a unique geographical pattern known as "Rooster Crowing in Three Counties, Smoke Drifting Over Three Lands." The Ting River’s jade belt winds around the mountain’s foothills, combining the peril of Huashan, the clouds of Huangshan, the tranquility of Qingcheng, and the spirit of the valleys. It is a hidden, niche wellness and cultural sanctuary nestled in Hakka landscapes, integrating pristine natural scenery, millennia-old folk beliefs, Song Dynasty military legends, and Hakka local cuisine. It offers a four-dimensional cultural tourism route featuring hiking and mountain climbing, meditation and blessing, rural wellness, and river viewing. 2. Natural Scenery and Cultural Tourism: Scenic Views at Every Step, Hidden Immortal Forests 1. Landmark Rock Formations and Landforms From afar, the entire mountain resembles a Kunpeng spreading its wings or a mighty eagle folding its wings, a signature natural symbol of Longhua Mountain. On the west side, the sheer cliff called the Emperor’s Wall is sharply carved like a knife or axe, with a cliff face hanging in midair. At the cliff’s base lies Guanyin Cave, the largest natural karst cave in Changting, spanning over 200 square meters and more than eight meters high. Inside, it is cool and mysterious with scattered stalactites. Suspended cliffside stairways have been carved into the rock, with stone steps built along the cliff. Hiking here offers deep valleys beneath your feet and flowing clouds overhead, making it a top choice for adventure hikers. Mid-mountain, the imposing Tianmen Stone stands tall, with the Shixin Spring gushing from its crevice. Two mountain springs flow year-round with sweet, clear water. Local folklore tells of the Tianmen opening on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, when people enter the mountain to seek immortal medicine. 2. Ecology and River Scenery At the mountain’s foot lies a vast expanse of thousands of acres of primitive broadleaf forest and bamboo sea, rich in negative oxygen ions, making it a natural forest oxygen bar in western Fujian. The Ting River meanders along the mountain’s base, and after reservoir water storage, the river surface is calm and clear. From a high vantage point, the emerald river water winds through patchwork villages, with distant mountains layered in lush greenery. The summit is an excellent spot to watch sunrises and admire sunset clouds: on clear days, the pastoral scenes of the three counties stretch into the distance; on foggy days, a sea of clouds rolls over the mid-mountain, often creating the magical phenomenon of clear skies below and misty rain above. Morning and evening glow dye the peaks, creating a natural ink-and-wash landscape. 3. Cultural and Historical Tourism: Millennia of Heritage Rooted in Hakka Culture 1. Ancient History and Totem Culture According to the "Jiuyu Zhi · Scenic Spots" and "Changting County Gazetteer," the mountain was named Lingshe Mountain during the Tang and Song dynasties. It is a relic site of the ancient Minyue snake totem culture. The ancient Snake King Temple on the mountain has been preserved for a thousand years, worshipping the Snake King Bodhisattva and maintaining the Minyue ancestors’ snake veneration customs. Every year, local folk temple fairs gather people from the three counties to pray for blessings, representing a unique intangible cultural heritage of western Fujian. 2. Song Dynasty Military General Legends The mountain is dotted with relics of Northern Song general Yang Wenguang’s campaign in Fujian: the flat terrace at the summit was the ancient horse-riding ground of Yang Wenguang, and the Dragon Mouth Rock cave on the north side is said to have been the Song army’s camp. The famous idiom "reining in the horse at the cliff’s edge" originates from military training stories here. Leveraging the Song general’s story, educational and sightseeing points have been developed to connect the ancient frontier defense history of western Fujian. 3. Zen Temple and Ancient Architecture Heritage The Longhua Zen Temple at the peak, the Caishen Cave at mid-mountain, and the Sansheng Hall are built along the mountain, with flying eaves hidden in dense green forests. Since the Song Dynasty, monks have lived and practiced here, with incense burning continuously for a thousand years, blending Buddhist, Taoist, and folk customs. Next to the ancient temple, the newly built Guanyun Pavilion was funded and constructed by local Hakka villagers, providing a place to rest, enjoy the view, and meditate, forming a zen tourism and leisure industry. 4. Hakka Local Cultural Tourism: Bringing Life to the Mountains, Wellness and Living 1. Mountain Living and Wellness Industry At the mountain’s foot, Longhua Mountain Villa offers supporting homestays and farmhouse restaurants. Taking advantage of the mountain’s cool climate in summer and warmth in winter, it focuses on short-distance summer retreats and wellness. Rooms open to mountain views; visitors hike during the day and enjoy the cool mountain air at night, making it a weekend micro-vacation destination for nearby cities. 2. Local Hakka Cuisine Deeply exploring local ingredients: mountain spring river fish, free-range mountain chickens, handmade Hakka glutinous rice cakes, dried bamboo shoots and wild vegetables, and traditionally brewed rice wine. Using local materials to restore the authentic flavors of Tingnan farmhouse cuisine, creating a "Taste Longhua" culinary experience route. 3. Surrounding Linked Routes Connecting ancient villages in Yanggu Township, Ting River waterfront trails, rural Tianhou Temple, and Shanzi Township’s Mengxi Book House, creating a one-day micro-tour route: Changting County Town → Ting River Waterfront → Longhua Mountain Hiking and Blessing → Farmhouse Hakka Cuisine → Ancient Village Visits. This links the entire cultural tourism resources of Tingzhou Ancient City, achieving complementary itineraries between the ancient city and the wilderness. 5. Directions for Cultural Tourism Development and Operation 1. Outdoor Hiking IP: Develop graded trails including leisure flat paths, adventurous cliff stairways, and circular jungle crossing routes. Organize themed activities such as spring outings, autumn maple viewing, and sea-of-cloud camping. 2. Folk Festival IP: Based on Snake King beliefs and Longhua Zen Temple fairs, hold the annual Longhua Blessing Cultural Festival on fixed lunar calendar dates, incorporating Hakka mountain songs and folk parades. 3. Wellness Homestay Upgrades: Revitalize idle mountain farmhouses to create niche zen mountain residences and bamboo forest homestays, developing short-term meditation and forest food therapy wellness. 4. Educational Products: Offer Minyue totem culture studies, Yang Wenguang historical studies, and natural geology science education for primary and secondary school students. 6. Climb Longhua Immortal Mountain, View the Splendor of Three Counties, and Seek the Millennia-old Tingnan Life and Culture

Fujian is full of hidden gems that seem endless! This time, I focused on the mountains and waters of western Fujian and found a treasure-like "Emerald Wonderland" for you—— · *Fujian Longyan · Liangyeshan National Nature Reserve** This secret place, known as the "Wuping Peach Blossom Land," has a **highest peak elevation of 1538.4 meters and serves as a natural barrier at the junction of Fujian, Guangdong, and Jiangxi provinces**【11†L21-L23】. Its most enchanting feature is the combination of primeval forests, steep gorges, and dozens of waterfalls with great drops. Yet, hidden deep in western Fujian, it remains sparsely visited and as peaceful as a forgotten fairyland. Here is a detailed travel guide for you: 🏞️ **Chapter 1: Wilder than Jiuzhaigou, More Magical than Huangguoshu** The ticket price for Liangyeshan is very reasonable. Booking an adult ticket online one day in advance costs only **35 RMB**, while seniors and children enjoy half-price discounts (**27 RMB**), offering excellent value【11†L56-L58】. Once you step into the Liangyeshan Gorge, you will instantly understand why it is called **“Wuping Sipadan”**. The water here is astonishingly clear, showing an unreal blue-green hue. Every stone and aquatic plant beneath the surface is visible, like a giant, flowing aquarium. Especially in the downstream **Fairy Lake** area, the azure water reflects the green mountains on both sides, so tranquil that you dare not speak loudly【11†L33-L36】. The trails and boardwalks inside the park are well constructed. Walking upstream along the gorge, you will unlock a "Waterfall Corridor" composed of dozens of waterfalls: · **Shenniu Waterfall**: The water rushes down beside a rock shaped like a giant ox, marking the opening scene of the gorge journey. · **Caoxiepi**: The creek spreads over a wide sloping surface, sparkling under the sunlight. · **Tongtian Waterfall**: This is Liangyeshan’s **signature attraction and a rare "steep slope waterfall"**. A massive flow plunges from a cliff dozens of meters high, then rushes down a natural slope of nearly 50 degrees, resembling a silver dragon coiled in the mountains, creating a breathtaking spectacle【11†L64-L66】. · **Other surprises**: Along the way, there are more than 30 waterfalls of various sizes, including Feiyu Waterfall and Fengwei Waterfall. During the high-water season, the roar of water and mist bring refreshing coolness【11†L66-L69】. Regarding routes, you can choose two main options: · **“Easy Water Viewing” Route**: From the park entrance, follow the boardwalk uphill, passing the lower and upper waterfall groups, and reach Fairy Lake (about 4-6 km in total). This is the classic route, covering almost all the most beautiful water scenes and waterfalls of Liangyeshan. After arriving at Fairy Lake, you can take a free shuttle bus back to the park exit, saving time and effort【11†L45-L48】. · **“Hardcore Hiking” Route**: If you have enough stamina and time, continue from the other side of Fairy Lake to climb the main peak of Liangyeshan—Gumu Peak. This 1538-meter-high peak is often shrouded in mist, offering an extremely broad view from the summit. 🚗 **Chapter 2: Transportation, Accommodation & Tips** · **🎯 Location Navigation**: Simply search for "**Fujian Longyan Liangyeshan National Nature Reserve**" or "**Liangyeshan Scenic Area**". The park is located in Chengxiang Town, Wuping County, Longyan City. · **🚗 Self-driving**: Depart from Longyan city center, navigate to Wuping County, then drive about 10 km along the park road. The whole trip takes about 1.5-2 hours. There is a large parking lot at the park, very convenient. · **🚌 Public Transport**: Take a high-speed train to Longyan Station, then transfer to a long-distance bus to Wuping County. Finally, take a direct tourist shuttle or taxi from Wuping Bus Station to Liangyeshan. · **🏠 Accommodation Suggestions**: Staying in **Wuping County** is highly recommended. There are various lodging options from budget to comfortable, all with great value. At night, you can stroll the old streets of the county town and experience the local small-town atmosphere. · **🍜 Food Recommendations**: In Wuping, don’t miss the Hakka cuisine: · **Wuping Boji Rice Cake**: The county’s signature snack, rice noodle rolls wrapped with fillings like green beans and minced meat, drizzled with scallion oil, delivering an explosion of satisfaction in every bite. · **Hakka Stuffed Tofu**: Tofu filled with meat, pan-fried to golden and then simmered, resulting in tender tofu and flavorful meat. · **Wuping Pig Gallbladder Dry**: For adventurous eaters, try this intangible cultural heritage delicacy, which tastes bitter at first and sweet afterward, leaving a lasting aftertaste. 📝 **Chapter 4: Thoughtful Tips** · **Mosquito and Sun Protection**: The gorge is densely vegetated with many mosquitoes, so bring **mosquito repellent**; also, apply **sunscreen** when walking on exposed boardwalks. · **Wear Non-slip Shoes**: The waterfall areas and gorge boardwalks are misty and slippery year-round. Wearing the wrong shoes is the biggest risk on this trip. · **Bring Your Own Supplies**: There are limited supply points inside the park, so it’s best to buy enough **drinking water and snacks** at the entrance or in town. · **Best Season**: Spring and summer (April to September) have lush vegetation and abundant rainfall, making the waterfalls most spectacular and the best time to visit. Here, there are no crowded crowds, only mountains singing loudly for you. Pack your bags and head to Liangyeshan for a **25℃ “Emerald Date”**, where there is wind, trees, waterfalls, and the taste of freedom.

No rushing, no itinerary, just wanting to lose myself in the mountains🌄 This summer, I went to Liangyeshan in Wuping, Longyan, Fujian. If you're tired of crowds and want a quiet place to spend half a day, this place might just surprise you✨ 🚗 Starting from the county town, a 20-minute drive, outside the window the view changes from buildings ➡ bamboo forests ➡ terraced fields. The mountain road winds but isn’t steep; roll down the window, and the breeze carries the scent of bamboo leaves and earth— that clean, fresh mountain smell you haven’t smelled in a long time🍃 🌊 First stop: Lower Waterfall Cluster Before seeing the water, you hear it first. Walking down the stone steps, the sound of water grows louder, the air cooler. Turning a corner, the waterfall suddenly appears— not overwhelmingly grand, but enough to make you stop in your tracks. Water plunges from dozens of meters high, smashing against rocks into countless droplets. Sunlight hits, and little rainbows flicker in and out🌈 Standing by the pool, the mist hits your face, cool and refreshing, · ike the mountain spirit gently patting your cheek💚 🌿 Moving upward: Yunta Village + Upper Waterfall Cluster This path is walked slowly because everywhere you want to stop. The stream flows through cracks in the rocks, sometimes rushing, sometimes calm. The water is crystal clear, revealing smooth stones and swaying water plants. There’s a shallow pool where the surface is as smooth as a mirror, reflecting the trees and sky on both banks. You can’t tell which is real and which is the reflection✨ 🍃 The forest is very quiet. Occasionally, a bird calls out, crisp and clear as if washed by spring water. Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled patterns on the ground. Walking along, suddenly you don’t want to speak. This silence isn’t oppressive; it’s a comfortable quiet. It feels like the mountain has embraced your rhythm. Your breath slows, and your thoughts lighten🌱 🌲 Passing through an ancient forest, the trunks are so thick two people would need to hug them together, covered in moss. They’ve stood here for hundreds of years, witnessing countless rains and falling leaves. Standing before them, all the worries and calculations suddenly seem so small💭 🏞 At the highest point: Gumu Rock A huge rock hangs on the mountaintop, as if casually placed there. Looking down from here, the mountains stretch endlessly, · ayers fading into one another until they blur with the sky. The wind is strong, making it hard to stand steady, but you just don’t want to leave. At that moment, you feel the mountain has a spirit. It doesn’t speak, but it understands everything🍂 ☕ Descending back to Yunta Village, I found a farmhouse to sit in. The host served tea brewed with mountain spring water, clear and sweet. With the mountain breeze, watching the terraced fields and bamboo forests in the distance, all the day’s fatigue was washed away~ As I left, I saw the mountain shrink in the rearview mirror, and suddenly remembered a saying: The mountain won’t come to you, but you can go to the mountain. Liangyeshan is right here, quietly and slowly waiting for everyone willing to come✨ If you’re tired too, go take a walk in the mountains. No need to speak, just listen to the wind, watch the water, and daydream🍃 Days like these are worth living over and over again💚

Perhaps due to the similarity in place names, I mistakenly generated the next attraction guide in advance. In light of this, I have updated and created the 【Pingchuan District Travel Guide】 located in Baiyin City, Gansu Province. Unlike the famous Jizhou, it retains a rare simplicity and tranquility: 🏺 Pingchuan Ceramic Town → The Craftsmanship Experience of Northwest’s Ceramic Capital · The first 3A-level scenic spot in Gansu Province themed around ceramic culture, tracing back to the ancient Neolithic Majiayao culture. Strolling through, the ancient smoke-reversing kilns and towering tunnel kilns tell the glory of the industrial era, truly an open-air ceramic museum. · 🧑‍🎨 Exclusive experience: Step into the pottery bar, touch the smooth clay with your hands, experience the ancient charm of intangible cultural heritage pottery making on the spinning wheel, and admire a dazzling array of ceramic artworks. · ⏰ Suggested visit time: 1.5-2.5 hours, suitable for family interaction and artistic check-ins. ⛰️ Quwu Mountain & Hongshan Temple → A Summer Resort and Blessing Site · Quwu Mountain is a branch of the Qilian Mountains, with the main peak reaching 2,858 meters. In summer, it is shaded with lush trees, an excellent natural air conditioner. Hongshan Temple, located halfway up the mountain, was built during the Northern Wei Dynasty and named for the red rocks of the mountain. More notably, the Red Army stationed here for 48 days in 1936, with the command posts of Zhu De and Peng Dehuai set up here, making it both a Buddhist holy site and a red revolutionary relic. · ⏰ Suggested visit time: 3-4 hours, climb the mountain for blessings and enjoy panoramic views of Pingchuan. 🏡 Ancient Charm of Doucheng → A Thousand-Year-Old Yellow River Village at a Glance · A hidden ancient village in Shuiquan Town, Pingchuan District, flourishing because of the Yellow River and rising as a military fortress for a thousand years. As an important checkpoint on the northern route of the eastern section of the ancient Silk Road, it was once a bustling commercial town filled with camel bells. Touching the ancient beacon tower weathered by time at the village entrance feels like instantly traveling back to the Han and Tang dynasties of war and glory. · 🍜 Food tip: Don’t miss the firewood chicken, iron pot stewed goose, or a bowl of authentic farmhouse sauced long noodles hidden in the village. · ⏰ Suggested visit time: 2-3 hours, perfect for savoring history and photography. 🏞️ Xiangquan Village & Xiaohuangwan Ancient Village → Searching for Nostalgic Memories · Longshang Spring Village · Xiangquan: A suburban “back garden” very close to the urban area, named after its springs. Stroll along the clear spring water, visit the Village Memory Museum documenting rural changes, and enjoy the pleasant pastoral scenery. · Xiaohuangwan Ancient Village: Experience the unique terrain of “three sides surrounded by mountains, one side by water.” Walk along the “Silk Charm Ancient Road” and feel the magnificent scenery where the Yellow River, canyon, and ancient village intertwine. 🐟 Pingchuan Specialty Cuisine · Authentic Northwest Flavors · Hand-pulled lamb / Braised lamb: Made from local Tan sheep, tender and juicy. Hand-pulled dipped in pepper salt for original flavor, braised slowly with potatoes and vermicelli to warm body and stomach; Doucheng Village’s pickled jar meat stir-fried with sauerkraut is also distinctive. · Pingchuan Sauced Noodles: The essence of Northwest noodles, with chewy and smooth noodles, sauced with diced lamb, potatoes, and carrots stir-fried, the broth is rich, sour, and appetizing. · Stuffed Skin Noodles and Gray Bean Soup: A must-order in summer, the stuffed skin noodles are smooth and chewy with red chili oil, and the gray bean soup is dense, sweet, and glutinous; if you visit Doucheng Village, be sure to try freshly caught rainbow trout and Jin Zun fish sashimi. · Agricultural specialties: Besides the sweet and crisp ginseng fruit, Pingchuan, located in the golden planting belt at 37 degrees north latitude, produces apples that are crisp, sweet, and juicy, filling your mouth with fragrance with every bite. 🚗 Self-driving: Navigate to “Pingchuan District, Baiyin City, Gansu Province.” From Lanzhou, take the G6 Jingzang Expressway to G109 National Road, about 2.5 hours by car. 🚌 Public transport: Take the train to Pingchuan Station, or intercity buses to Pingchuan from Lanzhou/Baiyin bus stations. 🏨 Pingchuan Hotel (city center, convenient for dining and transport), Quwu Mountain Summer Resort (preferred for summer cooling), Yellow River Family Homestay (near Wetland Park and Doucheng Village). ⭐ Best season: May to October offers the best climate and scenery. The mountain area has large temperature differences; it is recommended to bring a windproof jacket and wear suitable hiking shoes. ⭐ Two-day in-depth itinerary suggestion: Day 1: Morning climb Quwu Mountain and visit Hongshan Temple → Lunch at Doucheng Village with firewood chicken → Afternoon explore Xiaohuangwan and walk the Silk Road ancient path to watch the Yellow River sunset. Day 2: Morning immersive pottery experience at Ceramic Town → Afternoon stroll and relax at Xiangquan Village or Taodu Huayuan Park. ⭐ Special note: Prepare enough water when climbing Quwu Mountain; the temple is a sacred place, please keep quiet and respectful. Additionally, if the “Pingchuan” you mentioned refers to the thousand-year-old town in Binchuan County, Yunnan Province, or an important place name in Wuping County, Longyan, Fujian Province, please feel free to tell me. I am happy to redraw that exclusive travel blueprint for you~

Explore the "Liangye Fairy Mountain": Your Ultimate Guide to Oxygen Breathing and Waterfall Viewing at Liangye Mountain, Fujian Recently, I discovered a true earthly paradise deep in the mountains of Longyan, Fujian. Here, you’ll find not only the majestic "Southeast’s Number One Waterfall," but also the ancient and enduring Mother Stone, and a rare wild yew forest found nowhere else in the country. This place is the Fujian Liangye Mountain National Nature Reserve, known as the "Jade on the Tropic of Cancer" and a "Natural Green Gene Bank." If you’re tired of the concrete jungle and crave a lung-cleansing journey, this guide is a must-save! Why Liangye Mountain? — Getting to Know the "Liangye Fairy Mountain" Liangye Mountain, commonly called "Liangshan Peak," has long been a symbol of Wuping and ranks first among the "Eight Great Sceneries of Wuping." It sits at the junction of Fujian, Guangdong, and Jiangxi provinces, with its highest peak reaching 1,538.4 meters above sea level. As soon as you enter Wuping, you can see the mist-shrouded peak from afar, like a flowing ink painting. This is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national nature reserve. With a forest coverage rate as high as 94.3%, every breath you take is filled with negative oxygen ions. Especially near Tongtian Waterfall, the concentration of negative oxygen ions can exceed 100,000/cm³, making it a natural spa without electricity. Must-Visit Attractions: Waterfalls, Strange Rocks, and Vast Forests 1. The Breathtaking "Southeast’s Number One Waterfall Group" The heart of Liangye Mountain is its water. The scenic area boasts over 30 waterfalls stretching nearly ten miles, making it the densest waterfall cluster in Southeast China. · Tongtian Waterfall (Must-See): The grand finale of the waterfall group, it’s 70 meters high and 80 meters wide with a massive water flow. Standing on the viewing platform, you’ll feel the mist on your face and hear the thunderous roar. On sunny mornings between 9 and 11 AM, you can often see a rainbow arching across the waterfall. · Feiyu Waterfall: Named for its fish-tail shape, it has rapid water flow and is a favorite among photographers. The layered rocks here make for stunning long-exposure shots. 2. A Real-Life "Wizard of Oz" — Wild Yew Forest This is the most awe-inspiring spot for me. Deep within Liangye Mountain lies the world’s largest wild southern yew forest, with many trees over a thousand years old and trunks so thick they require several people to hug. Walking through the forest, sunlight filters through the leaves creating dappled shadows, and the soft fallen leaves underfoot make every photo a forest masterpiece. In the early morning, locals often practice forest yoga here, which is very healing. 3. The Secluded "Yunzai Village" At about 600 meters elevation on the mountainside is Yunzai Village, an ancient Hakka village. Surrounded by green mountains and clear waters, the village entrance features Fairy Lake with crystal-clear water reflecting the mountains. Walking the 3-kilometer "Shangshan Boardwalk" around the lake, you’ll feel the gentle breeze and peaceful time. It’s also an important rest stop and food paradise, perfect for a break. 4. Extreme Challenges at the Mountain Summit · Mother Stone: The "soul" of Liangye Mountain, this stone stands suspended at the summit, seemingly precarious but has withstood thousands of years of weather. Standing beside it at the top, you can overlook the junction of three provinces, see distant county towns faintly, and watch the sea of clouds rolling beneath your feet—a feeling of conquest like no other. · Liangye Mountain Temple and White Lotus Pond: Near the summit is an ancient Song Dynasty temple dedicated to the Hakka protector deity, Dingguang Ancient Buddha, with incense burning year-round. In front of the temple is White Lotus Pond, a high mountain lake resembling a heavenly pool. How to Plan Your Trip? (Bonus Route Suggestions) Based on your time, here are two classic routes tailored for you: Route 1: Half-Day Highlights Tour (For those in a hurry or leisure travelers) Keywords: Easy, Waterfall Viewing, Not Tiring · Route: Scenic area entrance → Take the shuttle bus (recommended to save energy) → Yunzai Village (brief visit) → Hike downhill to view the waterfall group (Tongtian Waterfall, Feiyu Waterfall, etc.) → Return the same way or take a bus to Fairy Lake (walk the lakeside boardwalk) → Return. · Duration: About 3-4 hours. Route 2: Full-Day Deep Tour (For hikers and photography enthusiasts) Keywords: Panoramic, Challenging, Cultural · Route: Scenic area entrance → Bus to the waterfall group starting point → Hike through the original yew forest (photo stops) → Climb the Mother Stone trail (challenge yourself) → Summit to see Mother Stone, Liangye Mountain Temple, White Lotus Pond → Optionally descend the other side via Fairy Cave back to Yunzai Village for lunch → Afternoon glass slide experience or more waterfall photography → Return. · Duration: About 6-7 hours. Practical Tips (Highly Recommended) Scenic Area Info · Ticket Price: Adult ticket 55 RMB/person, shuttle bus 15 RMB/person (about 3 km, recommended). · Opening Hours: Summer (May–October) 08:00–18:00; Winter (November–April) 08:00–17:50. Food Recommendations Visiting the Hakka heartland, make sure to save room! 1. Hakka Boji Rice Cake: Wuping’s signature snack, rice sheets wrapped around stir-fried fillings, drizzled with scallion oil, 5 RMB per serving, delicious and refreshing. 2. Xiangdong Chicken/Claypot Chicken: Locally free-range farm chicken, firm and flavorful, served either boiled or braised, a must-try dish. 3. Seasonal Wild Vegetables: Wild bamboo shoots with pork, sweet potato leaves, red mushroom soup—nature’s gifts from the mountains. 4. Chilled Watermelon: At Yunzai Village’s farmhouse restaurants, try their watermelon chilled in wells or mountain spring water—refreshingly cool. Where to Stay · Experience Style: Stay at Yunzai Village homestays (like "Yew Cottage"), with mountain views from your window and the sound of streams at night, around 150 RMB/night. · Comfort Style: Stay in Wuping County town, with many chain hotels like Vienna and Hanting, convenient for dining and shopping, prices range from 200-400 RMB. · Resort Style: Stay at Kedu Hui Cultural Tourism Town, just minutes from the scenic area, with good environment and some with hot springs. Avoid Pitfalls & Important Notes 1. Proper Gear: The mountain has many stone steps and moss; wear non-slip sports or hiking shoes. The waterfall area is misty, so bring waterproof bags for cameras and phones. 2. Bring Supplies Early: Although there are shops at the entrance and Yunzai Village, there are no stores in the core hiking areas (especially the climbing sections), so bring enough water and some energy snacks. 3. Safety After Rain: Wet stone steps can be very slippery after rain, and some sections may require wading. Walk slowly and prioritize safety. 4. Protect the Environment: This is a national nature reserve where you might encounter rare animals like black muntjac and white pheasant. Observe from a distance, do not feed, and avoid picking plants. Nearby Attractions: Enrich Your Wuping Trip · Qianlu Lake Wetland Park: About 20 km from the scenic area, known for "thousands of lakes and flying egrets," perfect for family trips and birdwatching. · Zhongshan Ancient Town: A rare "people’s ancient town" with many family names gathered here. Experience the Ming and Qing dynasty streets and rich clan culture. The beauty of Liangye Mountain lies not in how many trendy check-in spots it has, but in its originality and tranquility. When you stand beneath Tongtian Waterfall, feeling the mist on your face; when you stroll through the thousand-year-old yew forest, hearing the rustling leaves in the wind, you’ll understand what it means to "escape the cage and return to nature." If you have time this weekend, why not visit Liangye Mountain for a lung spa and a heart vacation?

The thunder of Awakening of Insects stirs, and all things begin to awaken. Just in time for a stay at the Yatu Hotel in Longyan Wuping Baijia Courtyard, this living museum of Ming and Qing architecture where you can both live and explore. Slowly savor the fragrance of calligraphy and ink paintings in the Zhu Family Yard, quietly admire the ancient art treasures in the Blessing Pavilion, and through every brick and tile, every stroke and painting, understand the best way to live in the Bingwu year: slow down, reflect on yourself, and enjoy life peacefully. Strolling through Baijia Courtyard, the bluestone paths reflect the flying eaves and dark tiles, the calligraphy exhibition hides charm in brush and ink, and the millennium-old cultural lineage unfolds slowly before your eyes. Pausing at the Blessing Pavilion, ancient art treasures are quietly displayed, each item telling a story, blending everyday life with Zen, calming restlessness and bringing peace to the heart.
