A Day Trip to the Stunning Doi Inthanon National Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand

I didn't have high hopes at first, just thought I'd take a simple walk and see, but it turned out to be incredibly beautiful. Besides the cool weather on the mountain, the King and Queen's twin pagodas paired with the vibrant gardens cover a large area. There are quite a few stairs, which is perfect for some exercise. It's truly beautiful and suitable for a walk and sightseeing, great for taking photos. This place also has the highest point in Thailand, and includes a visit to stilt houses as well as the local traditional tribal culture. It was a very fulfilling day. Joining a local day tour is very convenient, and this is really a great place to visit in the outskirts of Chiang Mai.
