Floating Market in Hat Yai 🇹🇭

#winhkflight 📍Khlong Hae Floating Market, Hat Yai We visited this famous floating market in Hat Yai during fasting month, and to our surprise it is not crowded at all, even on a weekend! There was a fleet of boats selling food (fries, meat skewers kind of thing) and drinks like Thai tea. This was such a unique experience as visitors will have to buy the food or drinks from the sidewalk. Love that some of the vendors sell drinks in a bamboo, how creative is that! The sidewalks were well lit up and bright, we managed to catch some buskers on the bridge as well. Besides, they have a small market selling clothing items, souvenirs, arts and craft items so be sure to check them out! I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

A wonderful evening @ Khlong Hae Floating Market

#weekendgetaways Khlong Hae Floating Market is situated in Khlong Hae, Hat Yai District, Songkhla 90110, Thailand. This market have quite a number of vendors selling Thai street food, drinks & souvenirs on the boats which moored by the riverside. Khlong Hae Floating Market is about 6 km away from Hatyai Downtown, we called a grab car which cost TB150 to the market. We had eaten lots of local delights and bought some souvenirs from the market, really had a wonderful evening there! The market is open on weekend only(Friday, Saturday & Sunday) from 1pm - 9pm.

Khlong Hae Floating Market

Best out of the best!! It is located at Hat Yai Thailand, about 20 minutes drive from the city centre, you can just open google maps or Waze and type Khlong Hae Floating Market. The foods were delicious and cheap, as you all know, Thailand is famous for their foods. Richmann Resort Hotel Hatyai

If I could give 10 stars instead of 5 I would. From the moment you park, the staff is there waiting to lend a helping hand. The check in went smoothly. The place is spotless and the rooms are beautiful! That evening, there was a swarm of light bugs that were everywhere. The staff took care to spray the outside walls and remove the insects that had gotten in our room. The next day, as we were enjoying breakfast, we decided at the last minute to stay another night. #awesomepic #couplestrip #deliciousfood #tripblazers

Thanatsri Hatyai

Thanatsri Hatyai is located at 68 Thumnoonvithi Road, 90110, Hatyai District, and is open daily from 0700-1930. It is around 350 meters 4 minutes walk from Lee Garden Plaza Hotel. Thanatsri Hatyai has been famous since the 60s, it is a great place for breakfast, if you love a bowl of noodles in the morning, it will not disappoint you. I had ordered the egg noodles with mixed type soup, a mee hoon soup with beef and the popiah. The popiah which is drizzled with a sweet chili sauce, the noodle soup can add the chili flakes and fish sauce to make it more spicy.

Betong Chicken Rice

Betong Chicken Rice is located at 30 Kimpradit Road, Hat Yai District, and is open daily from 0630-1400. It is around 500 meters 6 minutes walk from Lee Garden Plaza Hotel. The highlight of this famous chicken rice place in Hat Yai is their aromatic chicken-shaped rice. Thai chicken rice is slightly different from the version found in Singapore, and is not as flavourful and oily. Betong's rice still has a mild fragrance and the chicken is decent.

Qing Jie Restaurant

Qing Jie Restaurant is located at Thanon Lamai Songkraw 1, Hatyai District, and is open Tuesday to Sunday from 0730-1400. It is around 10 minutes 850 meters walk from Lee Garden Plaza Hotel. Qing Jie Restaurant is one of the most popular stalls with the braised pork leg, crispy roast pork and pig organ soup. I had ordered their signature dishes pig organ soup, crispy roast pork and a cup of iced coffee. Their soup is not so peppery, inside the soup there is lean meat, belly, pig blood, intestines with salted vegetables and enjoy it with a bowl of rice. The crackling fatty roasted pork was crisp in texture, is a must try when you visit here.

Central Department Store in Central Festival🇹🇭

#winhkflight 📍Central, Central Festival, Hatyai Visited the department store called Central in Central Festival mall, Hat Yai. They have a few floors altogether, selling different stuff on different level. For such, cosmetics, women’s shoes and bags on the first floor, women’s clothing department on the second floor, men’s and kids clothing department on the third floor. The store is huge and spacious. The stores are well arranged and is very organised, staffs were very helpful and kind. Love that they have cushioned chairs and sofa for customers to rest and chill for a bit. Also, they have restrooms in the Central store as well, how convenient is that. Love it, love the clothing displays, the quality of the clothing items. I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

Huge Mall - Central Festival Hatyai

Huge mall with lots of shops from the usual brands such as Uniqlo and Adidas etc to thrift shops with fashion from 125 bhat! I bagged a dress and a skirt for 324 bhat 😊 The G level is a food haven where you’ll be spoilt for choice 😁 Check out the atrium spaces for sales and promotion. Buddy bought 4 pairs of Jack Russell berms at 1 for 1 promo. Love the Super Sports Store but didn’t have enough time. We planned to have dinner at Food Park (food court) but missed it due to lack of time. Before we know it, the mall was closing 😆 Recommend to head there early if you’re there to shop because the mall is simply huge! Fun 4 kids @ Indoor Playground Hat Yai

#2023travelwish If you are at Hat Yai this rainy season in December, do check out this indoor playground at the top level of central festival mall if you have kids along with you. #artshunting if you happen to be at Hat Yai and plan to visit a mall, do check out the central festival mall art gallery too. it has a wide range of artwork featuring local pieces on display, worth making a visit and seeing the art pieces like dragon, human and lotus ones done by locals. can spend around 30-40 mins here and seats are also provided here. Recommended ;)

Worth A Visit To Hatyai City Municipal Park

#wecreate Hatyai City Municipal park is a free of charge attraction in Hatyai, Thailand, and it is definitely worth a visit to this lovely place. The park is not crowded or packed at all and I love it this way as it is quieter and I get to enjoy every part of the attraction better. You will be greeted by a large golden Buddha statue at the park, along with other statues such as guan yin ma, etc and these are such beautifully done sculptures. There's also a nice temple inside for worshippers to offer prayers and the views from it are superb. You can even go for a cable car ride to see the whole area with nice sceneries. Come here for a stroll, or cycle at the nearby cycling paths, or soak in the peaceful atmosphere, whichever it is, Hatyai City Municipal park is a wonderful place. Highly recommend it.

Golden Buddha in hat yai

One of the main tourist attraction is this giant golden Buddha located in the northern parts of the city. located in municipal park, this massive Buddha is a view not to miss. not only is it an impressive piece of architecture, the area is on top of a mountain. From the top you can appreciate the wonderful cityscape and the songkla lake which is visible from this mountain. As well as that, there are various Hindu temple to explore nearby the Buddha. if taking the cable car is not your thing, one can easily hike to the top, within 1 hour. The cable car is 400 thai baht for foreigners and 200 for locals. deffo worthwhile!

Honjiro Sushi is located on the 5th floor of Central Festival Hat Yai. They serve delicious Japanese food. The salmon was so fresh. We like it so much. The place is so clean. The ambiance is like you are really in Japan because of the cherry blossom on the center. Authentic Thai Cuisine in a Mall, Hatyai 🇹🇭

#2024wish 📍S & P Thai Restaurant and Bakery, Hatyai Had a delightful lunch here in S&P Thai Restaurant and Bakery which is located in Central Festival mall! It is indeed a hidden gem serving authentic Thai cuisine! They offer a wide array of food selection from rice to noodles to desserts! Have visited this restaurant for a few times and the quality is always consistent and on point! The restaurant is spacious and bright, cozy and comfortable, with friendly staffs! Ordered the black pepper stir-fry pork with omelette rice and it was 10/10! The bowl was flavourful, stir fry pork was tender and well cooked, a good bowl of rice indeed! Love the Thai tea and Pad Thai too! Would love to revisit ! In 2024, I wish to travel to Seoul, Korea!
